Hey sorry it's been a minute, exams were this week and so stressful anyways I hope you enjoy this chap😜
As the weeks passed on and got closer to the ball Lana grew even more nervous for this wizard event. She picks at her fingernails, sways back and fourth even more than before, her mind fills with these thoughts of what Draco Malfoy was describing to her 4 weeks ago when she found out.
'Because some of the people there would probably fucking kill you if they found out you were not a wizard.'
Those words hung above her head as she went to classes, out to eat with the boys, to the bookstore, even buying the dress she was going to wear to the ball. They hung over her head until it was time to actually do it. They stayed there as she got ready with Draco hovering over her, they stayed there as she put on her dress as Draco watched closely.
He really didn't want to make the wrong decision with bringing her here. He really didn't want to fuck up. He knew what those people can do in the snap of a finger, he knew what would happen to his precious Lana. Draco Malfoy knew that it was not going to be okay, he knew that this isn't the right thing. Fuck, what am I going to do? He thought.
As Lana put on her heals that have Swarovski Crystal across the strap she looked at herself in the mirror while Draco was gone. Her body fit perfectly as the long black dress flowed down her body. A trail went a few inches as it dragged behind her, crystals that matched the shoes lined parts of the dress as she smoothed it down.
Draco walked in seeing Lana "wow, you look amazing." He said walking in. A black velvet suit fit to his body as a snake pin hooked onto his chest, his hair was slick back with a few pieces falling down in front of his face.

"Thank you." She smiled nervously as Draco noticed, he turned her around looking her in the eyes.
"Are you thinking about what I said." He whispered as she nodded looking down "I won't let them do anything to you, you know that right? It will be fine you just have to follow by me and you will be fine." He rubbed her arm.
"Draco what if I do something-"
"You won't, it's fine love. We have to go." He said taking her out of the room and into the living room where the other two boys sat with suits on along with snake pins on their jackets as well.
"What's up with the snakes?" Lana asked as they stepped down into the sunken in living room.
"In our school there were four different houses we had. And we were slytherin. Can you guess which house all of the evil wizards came from?" Theodore joked as Draco rolled his eyes as Lana shrugged.
"Yours?" She took a wild guess as Theodore winked at Lana before bringing Draco and her over to him and blaise.
"Okay Lana, may want to close your eyes." Blaise whispered as Draco shook his head.
"That won't help." He whispered as Theodore casted the aparating spell sending them spiraling through the air, twisting and Turing before their feet hit the pavement in front of a wide Mansion. Vines went up the sides of it as pillars helped hold it up in the front, lights beamed through the windows as Lana spotted people inside, a lot of people inside.
"You okay?" Blaise asked Lana as she nodded.
"Yeah I actually never really get that sick, and what the hell did we just do?" She asked flabbergasted as she looked at the boys wanting an explanation.

"Aparated, which means going to a place in a matter of time and we are on the other side of England." Theodore laughed as he fixed his tie starting to walk to the large mansion. "I need a drink, let's go people."
"Um this is my childhood home by the way and it's still fucking horrifying." Draco joked as they started to walk closer to the home.
"Really?" She asked looking up at Draco Malfoy as the door opened before he could respond. A woman with stark blonde hair in a black green dress had wide eyes looking at the group.
"Ah my love!" Narcissa ran to Draco as she hugged her son. He gave her a kiss on the cheek before pulling away.
"Hello mum." He smiled now very polite and open which he usually isn't.
"And boys," she smiled at Theo and blaise as they waved walking in "and who's this beautiful lady?" She smiled looking at Lana as Draco smirked turning to Lana.
"I'm Lana," say it Lana "Draco's girlfriend." She finished as narcissas mouth dropped open in happiness hugging the girl.
"Oh I love you already, my name is narcissa, she's so nice Draco." She whispered as Lana smiled and Draco laughed a bit before turning back around.
"Is father here?" Draco asked as his mum looked at him.
"Yes I don't think that he's going to be happy- I love her but I just-"
"It's okay I know." Draco whispered as narcissa looked discouraged but Draco hugged her again "let's get inside, I have to see all of these people." Draco grabbed Lana as his mother led the way up to ten door opening it.
People stood up straight as their hair was perfect and their dresses flowed to the floor just like Lanas. Lana could tell the charm all of these people have, their smirks are powerful. Small glasses rested in their hands as they took sips every now and then.
"Follow me." He said wanting to get it over with. He walked over to his parents friends first saying his greetings to them. Lana introduced herself and a lot of the people didn't look that impressed.
Now it was time for Draco's friends who were all in a large room together seeing each other for the first time in a long time.
"These people I went to school with, you don't have to be as proper." Draco said as he opened the doors seeing more people In nice dresses with alcohol resting in their hands.
"Draco?" Someone asked from the side as their heads turned meeting eyes.
"Hey girls, um this is my girlfriend Lana." He said as the two girls walked closer to Lana looking her up and down.
"Pansy parkinson, and that's Daphne greengrass." She said with a smirk as she looked at Draco who rolled his eyes. Lana didn't like these girls and she could tell Draco didn't either.

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.

The Forest's Guardian
Follow Iago, a man with a past unknown even to himself, who has dedicated his life to defending the Beasts of the Awakened Forest - sentient creatures with magical abilities highly sought after by poachers. He must battle Mages and foot soldiers alike, all while attempting to gain the trust of the Beasts as a whole, and grappling with his own motivations for what he does. Things were looking up for the Forest, until a new threat emerged, and the poachers gained far greater resources and numbers than ever before. Now he must face off against an Archmage - and the support of the Forest is not guarenteed. Old powers must be persuaded to assist, or the Forest will fall forever. I'm writing this for fun and don't think it's particularly good, but it's fun to write so I figure I may as well upload it here! If you give it a read, thank you, and I hope you enjoy! Trying my best to release a chapter every other day, barring most weekends/holidays (though I will still try to get them out, but I make no promises) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
