When I write

I bleed, I cry, and I open up.

All the feelings and thoughts come spilling out

to form words on a paper written in such a deep way;

no wonder it comes with all those tears.

But when I write

I feel like someone is listening.

Someone understands me and I don't feel so alone.

Paper is my friend

as it's the only thing that knows the true story.

All the things I go through and the deep thoughts

that haunt me and lurk in my mind.

When I write, I feel free

because maybe..

I'm finally listening to myself
