I know I told someone that I'd update yesterday, but I'm sorry I didn't! Ngl, I was just straight up watching Friends show all day in bed with period cramps. Here you go xx

Justin's POV

(Play Bad Day and Mark My Words by Justin Bieber)

My body was not staying still as the truck I was riding on with went really fast through the rugged road. My heart was felt not beating even with the lumpiness of the crooked way. It was getting darker but my sharp eyes were still roaming around, although it was kind of hard with the rocky route we were following and only the moon was the light source for us. In my truck was two guys and behind us, was another truck full of my backup.

My throat felt dry before I chugged onto the water bottle and felt my eyes shutting in relief. I peered at the person driving the truck and I was thankful enough to have him right by my side. He was one of my intelligent spies to be following around Hazel without actually seeming like he was one and he did try his very best to make her happier even when I was not.

I could say I felt jealous because he had been looking like he was trying to win her heart genuinely, but I trusted him so much because we have known each other for years and he was one of my two, best partners. Who was the other one? The goofy jerk who was sitting at the backseat playing Sniper games on his phone but also could kick asses and send them to comma right away.

Their names you were wondering? It was none other than the Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood. Of course, the goofy one would be the famous charmer, Calum.

The truck hit another huge rocky road and our bodies vigorously moved up and down as we held onto something. We wouldn't have gotten to track these retards if it weren't for one of our best men who threw the tracker that stick onto the van they hopped into before they could even rush off. The tracker beeped, signalling us that we were getting lesser than one hundred meters away from the van before a loud screaming voice was heard from a distance.

As we gotten closer, I took out my gun but I knew it was too late when a loud bang echoed through the forest as birds flew around. My palms became sweatier as I hopped off the still-moving truck and motioned them with my hand to get onto Shane's guys. Before Shane could turn around, my sudden anger controlled me over as I jumped and knocked him off with my gun.

He fell down with a grunt but kicked me in the stomach afterwards. I groaned in pain and frustration as I took a punch in his face before he could stand up. Blood spilled out of his mouth as he held his jaw with one hand. He tried to tackle me, but I kicked him in the groin and he went on his knees.

I took the chance to knee him on his chin and he fell backwards with a thud. I knew he shot Hazel as I watched her body fall onto the rocky ground and laid there helplessly. My gun was pointed at Shane's chest as angry tears rolled down my sweaty face. That moment, I wanted to take him right there, to send him off right into Hell, but Calum held me back.

I struggled out of his grasp, but he screamed, "Be with her right now! She needs you now the most! Me and Luke will get the bastard where he had!" And with that, he pushed me towards Hazel's direction but never did I hesitate as I ran towards the only thing that kept me going in life.

My heart felt heavy and my eyes were sore from crying loudly. I knew it was not a manly move, but she was worth it all. She was worth the wait, the tears. Damn, she was worth a shot. I kneed down beside her as I caressed her soft cheeks, still bawling my eyes out.

The bullet went through her petite figure on the left side of her upper body where the heart was located. My chest ached longer, and my mind was tangled. My hopes kept dropping, but I still did not lose the chances to hold her in my arms again.

The last time I did, she was sleeping peacefully in the hotel beside me. It was a calm situation as I never wanted time to move at all. However, her state when I was holding her again; that I never thought would happen. Even at her worst condition, she still looked as beautiful as she was the first time I laid my eyes on her.

I could say she was forcing to get some words out her mouth as she finally spoke with a lisp, "I'm sorry f-for everything. I love you." It was such a bittersweet moment as I almost immediately cried out, "I love you too," but I knew she did not hear them.

She passed out right after she said those words and I carried her in my arms, running into the truck with just one thought in my knotted head.

She could not be dead, she could not be dead.

I just thought of the best ending for this story AND HAH YOU ALL GONNA BE THRILLED AS HELL, IM SO EXCITED. Our book reached 25k and it was all thank you to all of you. 😘

I love hearing your thoughts on any part of the story, keep them coming! 😛👌🏻🤙🏻
