My mind was blank for the whole ride. I just stared out of the window, looking at those trees and houses, to roads and traffics, cars and honks. Were things ever going to be easy? My life was just going perfect until my accidental text.

I miss my whole life back in Melbourne. The weather although it was kinda bipolar at times. The school I go to, I get so much of respect and nobody ever looked down on me. I was their inspiration for some reasons. I miss my best friend, David. We had so much fun together. He would climb up my window at three in the morning when I have cramps and would rub my tummy slowly. He made me a better person.

I miss my dancing school, the way dancing let out all the stress that was stuck in my lungs. When I do pirouette, I feel accomplished and I feel myself letting tons of problems off my shoulders. Dancing makes me have confidence in me—the self-confidence in me was built up.

Shawn was the only thing that I have not missed at home. He was plain mean and aggressive. I never wanted to be with him again, but I couldn't seem to be leaving him. Not because I was clingy, but he wouldn't let me go. His mouth was a gun, but when it came to the point I had to end this over again, he'd beg me to differ from letting him all by himself.

My mistake was letting him in every single time.

"Have you ever wished you weren't at where you are now?" I asked Shane, without looking over to him. My eyes were glued to the window. The roads were passing by my eyes so quickly by my mind was was stuck in one place. Home.

I could feel his stare burning holes through my head. The tension in the air was thick enough. He sighed deeply, "Are you okay?"

I chuckled lightly, but it didn't come from my heart. "I am okay." He snickered sarcastically and asked again. Again and again and again.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, I am."

"You don't sound okay?"

"I am okay, seriously."

He rested his hand on my thigh and goosebumps rose on me. I was breathing rapidly, but I didn't show him that it was bothering me. His thumbs made circles while the other fingers were massaging my thigh, making me go mad. I bit my lower lip hard and looked over to him.

He was fully focused on the road with his left hand gripping the steering wheel. I examined his looks. His strong jaw was sharp and his cheekbones were sculptured perfectly. His eyebrows were thick and his eyes were golden brown. His cheeks were often flushed and that made him look so adorable.

"You're checking me out again," he reminded me out of the blue and this time, I didn't take my eyes off his beautiful face. I hate this part. When I think about any guy, my mind got drifted back to Justin. "I actually like it when you check me out."

I chuckled lightly and smiled softly at him. "Why?"

He gave me his bright smile, his right hand still gripping my thigh, making me lose all of my shits. "Because you're the dark rose. Rare, but special."

PLEASE DONT BE MAD AT ME! I am so sorry for not updating yesterday. And for that, I will double update to make it up to you all! Thank you for reading. ❤️
