Testing Fate
Part 32
*Selena's POV*
"Justin, it's me again. I know you're mad at me but I'm sorry. I have a plan, you just have to bare with me. I'm sorry. I love you. Call me when you can," I hung up sighing.
"Maybe try Ryan," Taylor suggested.
I nodded and went through my contacts hoping his number hadn't changed.
I listened to the tone 4 times and I basically gave up hope that he was going to answer when his voice came on the phone.
"Ryan?" I asked.
"Who is this?" He asked.
"Ryan it's me. It's Selena," I explained giving Taylor a thumbs up.
"Selena," he whispered shocked. "I haven't heard from you in ages."
"I know," I sighed a laugh. "Have you heard from Justin? I stopped by his place and he wasn't there and I don't know where else to look. We got into a little fight earlier."
"Yeah he's at my place," he said.
"He went to Canada?!" I exclaimed.
"No, I live to Cali awhile back. I live at 235 Pinecone Drive. Come on over," he said before muttering that he was coming back.
"Do you want to drive or do you want me to?" I asked holding up the keys as she opened her hands for them.
It was a short drive from Taylor's house to Ryan's which was really good cause I was majorly freaking out.
"I'll take Ryan to the backyard or something so you and Justin can work it out. We aren't leaving until you make up," Taylor said as we pulled into his driveway.
I nodded and sighed getting out of the car before knocking on the door.
"Must be the pizza," Justin yelled right as Ryan opened the door and let us in. Justin groaned as soon as he saw me.

"We'll let you talk," Ryan said as he began to walk out of the room with Taylor on his tail.
"What are you doing here?" Justin spit as he set and almost empty beer on the coffee table. "How did you even find me here?"
"I called Ryan and he told me. I'm fix things with you. I'm sorry okay. I take full responsibility and I will fix it. Don't you trust me? I am your fiancée," I said hoping he would give in.
"You expect everything to just be okay? Selena, nothing is okay. Our family is going to be broken because of you," he said standing up.
"What we did was just words! We never signed anything! It's all talk!" I explained yelling.
"What?" Justin asked.
"There's no proof of the agreement. It was all verbal. We signed nothing," I breathed deeply.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked stepping closer to me.
"You never gave me the chance. I may have if you actually answered my calls," I sighed.
"I'm sorry. I just, I couldn't bare with the thought of losing another one of our kids like we lost Brayden."
"We won't okay. You just have to trust me," I sighed hugging him.
*Justin's POV*
"They are really cute," Selena said looking out the window at Ryan and Taylor laughing on one of those big wooden swings.
"Ryan is single," I noted.
"So is Taylor," Selena smirked. "We should set up a date. It can be a double date to make it less awkward!"
"I don't think we should meddle," I sighed looking out the window to see Ryan touching Taylor's hand.
"Please Jay? Just once. Plus it's not meddling, we know the like each other. I mean look at them. It's just pushing them to make a move," she nodded proud of herself.

I sighed, "If they end up hating us I'm blaming it all on you."
"Sounds good to me," she smiled happily.
"I missed you," I said wrapping my arms around her.
"Even when you were made at me?" She asked leaning closer to me.
"Even then," I nodded sealing off the space between our lips.
"I love you," she whispered on my lips.
"I love you more," I whispered before pulling away as we heard someone clear their throat.
"Did we interrupt?" Ryan said with a smirk.
"I see you two made up," Taylor smiled.
"Taylor, I think me and Justin are going to go back to his place. Is that okay with you?" Selena smiled slyly.
"Yeah that's fine," she smiled as her cheeks went pink and Ryan whispered something in her ear and she nodded.
"That's our queue," I said taking Selena hand in mine and pulling her away from the house.
"Call me!" Selena yelled before I closed the door.
"Hey don't roll your eyes," Selena said pointing a finger at me before walking away. "Remember this is why you love me!" She called.
"Sure that's the reason," I laughed room my eyes again and got in the car.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri.
