Testing Fate
Part 30
*Selena's POV*
"Ugh, I'm exhausted," i laughed flinging myself onto the sofa on the sofa on top of Justin.
"Did you have fun with the girls?" he asked wrapping his arms around me, kissing my head.
"Yeah, we did lots of shopping for the girls. It was really nice," I said smiling up at him. "What did you do while I was gone?"
"You know guy stuff. Video games, skateboard, wrote some stuff, nothing interesting," he shrugged.
"So I was thinking we should meet up with James and Leigh and tell them about the twins," I said as I got up and picked up some on the throw pillows that were in the floor.
"Why?" he asked in confusion.
"Cause they kind of need to prepare for two babies. Don't you think it will be quite the surprise when we give them two babies instead on one?" I said with a small laugh.
"That's funny, Sel. Really funny," he laughed.
"What are you talking about?" I asked standing up straight giving him my full attention.
"Selena, we are keeping the babies," he said which kind of took me by surprise.
"Really?" I asked kind of happy but at the same time I couldn't help but to feel bad for James and Leigh because i had kind of promised them a baby.
"Yeah," he said with a smile as he stood up wrapping his arms around me from behind. "How about I take you to dinner tonight? Just the two of us?"
"That sounds amazing," I smiled leaning my head back to give him a kiss.
"Go get ready. We will leave in an hour," he said giving me two more kisses before letting go of me as I went upstairs and straight to the shower.

As I showered, I couldn’t help but let my mind wonder to how I was going to tell James and Leigh that Justin and I were in fact keeping the babies. There were really only two ways could go about it. One, I could woman up and tell them the truth or two, I could ignore them until hopefully they forget about it. And honestly, right now, two seemed like the best option.
After my shower I got out and got dressed in a nice outfit giving myself just enough time to put on a little make-up before meeting Justin down stairs.
“Good to go?” he asked taking my hand as I nodded and we headed out to the car.
-
“Justin this looks like it’s been planned for weeks,” I said looking around at the empty restaurant.
He shrugged as we sat down and were handed out menus.
“You may not want to admit to it, but I can tell this took a lot of time and thought so thank you,” I said smiling at him as he leaned over and kissed me.
“I would do anything for you baby.”
*Justin’s POV*
After a nice dinner and a wonderfully heart to heart with Selena, we decided to get the check and head out.
“Thank you for tonight, Jay. It was really nice,” Selena smiled holding my hand.
“Well, it’s not ever yet,” I chuckled squeezing her hand lightly as I pulled up to a nearby park.
“Would you like to take an evening stroll with me my lady?” I asked as opened up her door and held out my hand. She rolled her eyes and took my hand.
Together we walked around the little walking path as she leaned her head on my shoulder.

“This is the perfect ending to a perfect night,” she sighed.
I chuckled and stopped her leaning down to tie my shoe and she looked over at the night sky as I dug in my pocket leaning on one knee as I waited for her too turn around.
She turned around a few seconds later and gasped.
“I know we already agreed but I want to make it official and do it the right way,” I said laughing lightly. “Selena, I know that in the past I haven’t been there the way I should have but I want that to be different with these kids. I already love them so much and I love you and I never want to lose you. I never told you this but before Brayden passed I promised him I would marry you and make us a real family again. He didn’t really know what I was talking about mostly cause he was asleep but I knew I’m a little too late to make things work with him but hopefully we can raise our kids the way Brayden would have wanted us to. I love you Selena to the moon and back. Selena Marie Gomez, will you marry me?” I asked looking up at her as tears welled up in her eyes.
“Yes,” she said nodded her head and I stood up and hugged her tight, drying her eyes.
Shakely she held out her hand and I slid on the ring and she admired it at a closer look.
“Do you like it? I tried really hard to pick something I thought you would like,” I said nervously.
“Babe, it screams me. It’s perfect,” she said kissing me happily.
“Now it’s the perfect ending,” I laughed on her lips causing her to nod with a giggled as she kissed me again.
