《FBI Agent》Nine.

A gleaming black Cadillac blasting rap music pulls up beside me and the smooth noise of the window rolling down filled the silence. I stop walking and turn towards it, one eyebrow raised in surprise. Inside, Calvin Black is staring straight ahead in the drivers seat, looking very unimpressed. His lips are set in a thin hard line and his eyes are glazed over, barely blinking.

"Hey Hunter! Jump in," Zack yells from the front passenger seat and I shoot him a smile, climbing into the back. I let out a low whistle as I slide into the leather interior, the scent of pine slapping me hard in the face.

"I would trade my first born child for a car like this." I say, inspecting the interior. Zack turns around from the front, giving me one of his show stopping smiles.

"It's a sweet ride, my man Cal here has good taste." He chuckles, slapping Calvin's shoulder a few times. My eyes drift over to him in the drivers seat and he appears to be chill as ever. His hands barely hover over the steering wheel, lazily driving to whatever destination he has in mind.

"Where do you get a car like this?" I question him lightly, knowing exactly where Calvin Black gets his money from. A whole lots of drugs and weapon exchanges.

"The Bank of Daddy." Calvin says bluntly, his words bitter. It surprises me how much resentment he holds in his tone. I always figured he'd speak highly of his father.

"Don't put your feet anywhere near the seats. Don't breathe on the windows. Don't complain about my music taste. Don't even dare attempt to eat food in this car. Got it?" Calvin says firmly, turning around to shoot me an icy green stare. I frown hard at him, shooting him a crazed look in return.

"You're an arse, you know that?"

I know I'm supposed to be getting on Calvin Black's good side but it's so difficult when he's so aggravating and arrogant. I literally get the urge to grip onto the back of his head and smash it into a wall whenever I'm near him.

Violent, I know.

Calvin brings that out in me.

He shoots me an arrogant smirk in response as we pull up to a red light. A cunning idea flashes through my mind and I smile back at him sweetly. I stick my tongue out and lower my head down until my tongue hovers over the seat of his car. In front of me, Calvin lets out a gasp that sounds very feminine and I have to stop myself from snorting with laughter.

"Hunter, don't you fucking dare lick my — "

Too late.

I lick his seat.

His annoyed and crazed scream fills the car and he slams down onto the brake, causing me to fly forward. I groan from the sudden impact and turn to find Calvin Black glaring at me like he wants to rip my head off and feed it to sharks.

"Get. Out." He breathes out, his jaw locked. If I thought his jaw was sharp before, it's nothing to when he's tensing it. I almost swoon, (key word almost) but remember how much of an arse he really is. It's fine to have a beautiful face and ripped body but if you're personality resembles a dead fish, you're not the man for me.

"I'm not getting out of this car." I smile smugly, sitting back and crossing my arms over my chest. In front of me, Zack is bent over with laughter but Calvin Black's face looks far from humour filled. If you want the definition of thunder face, Calvin Black has got it down.

"I really hate you." Calvin says bluntly before turning around and starting his engine up again. I sit back and continue to smile smugly.

"The feeling is mutual. By the way you have serious anger issues."

"I do not have anger issues." Calvin shoots back at me.

"You have to admit, you do have a few issues." Zack chimes in, biting down on his lip to stop himself from laughing once again. Calvin rolls his eyes but doesn't reply, keeping his eyes trained on the road ahead. A silence falls upon us in the car and Calvin turns the music up until it's booming through the bottom of my seats.

At one point, he looks up into his mirror and we hold each other's stare for a few seconds. He doesn't once blink and his eyes are completely unreadable. Something about his stare makes me shudder but I don't show it.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm the first one to break eye contact.

"You guys skate?" I ask them, watching as Calvin pulls out two skateboards from the boot of his trunk. He removes his black leather jacket so all he's wearing is a grey hoody with black jeans. His dark hair is messily falling over in his eyes and he automatically appears more laid back, comfortable.

Beside me, Zack nods, dropping his board to the floor and stepping on it with one foot.

"Yeah, we have been for years. I'm the professional though." He smirks, spinning around on his board before stopping in front of me. He shoots me a flirtatious smile, eyes shining.

"I can teach you?" He offers and I shake my head, taking a step back.

"I'm okay watching you for now." I smile. Behind me, Calvin sniggers. I narrow my eyes and spin around —

"Is something funny?" I snap. He holds one hand up in surrender, clutching his skateboard underneath the other arm.

"I didn't say anything."

"But you sniggered."

"I can snigger if I want. Don't be a child Hunter." Calvin shoots back, earning a heavy eye roll from me. He slams his boot shut before dropping the skateboard from his hold and standing on it. I watch as he skates away from me, towards the skate park where the ramps and dips are. He doesn't appear to be nervous, his body balancing on the board almost professionally. Zack joins him not too far behind and I lazily walk over to them, taking a seat at the top of one skate ramp.

"You shouldn't sit there. If a board comes your way, it'll hurt." Calvin says quietly, taking me by surprise. I blink a few times before nodding my head slowly and shuffling up a little. He clears his throat before riding in the opposite direction. I cross my legs and watch as he becomes carefree within seconds, losing the rigid and tense look to his features. His body visibly relaxes when he's on the board and even I can't deny that he's good. He skilfully rides up one ramp, stopping at the top and holding his position before rolling back down.

A few other people join Zack and Calvin, all of them sporting skateboards and helmets.

"Hey Hunter! Watch this!" Zack yells over to me, a wide grin on his face. I smile at him and watch as he flips his board in the air whilst on it, sliding down a stair rail and landing on the bottom with ease. Zack turns towards me to see my reaction and I give him a clap, earning another smile from him.

"That's impressive Zack." I shout over and he holds up a thumb before skate boarding towards Calvin. Neither of them wear helmets or safety equipment like the others. I take the chance to pull out my phone from my pocket, glancing at the screen.

The gym is our key word for training.

I quickly send him a text back, letting him know I'm with some 'friends' and I'll be back in a few hours. I place the phone back inside my pocket, swinging my legs from the ramp I'm sat on.

"Hunter! Move!"

I glance up to find Calvin yelling at me, his face contorted as he instructs me firmly. I get a second to glance to my right to see a skateboard hurtling through the air at me. The owner of it falls midway, landing in a heap on the floor but the board continues to fly through the air, straight for my face.

Instincts kick in and I swing myself off the ramp, holding onto it with my two hands instead. I dangle from it and watch as the board flies over my head, landing hard on the floor a few feet away from me. I blow out the breath I'm holding, my shoulders slumping in relief. When I swing and jump from the ramp, landing on the floor, I'm met with several pairs of surprised eyes.

Zack bounds up to me, concern flashing through his eyes which I find sweet.

"Are you okay?" He asks me and I nod slowly, dusting my hands off on my jeans. Maybe it wasn't the smartest move to act like a frickin' gymnastic in front of a group of people but I couldn't help it, it's my first instinct.

"Damn girl, you're fast. I literally blinked and you dodged that board faster than I ever could." Zack laughs, shaking his head in disbelief. I smile tightly, my eyes wondering over to Calvin who's stood completely still, watching me intently. His head cocks to the right slightly, green eyes burning through mine.

He doesn't say anything but I can practically see the curiosity seeping from him. I can't decide whether that's a good or bad thing. . .
