Claire's POV:
We sat on the dinner table and ate carrot soup with Alfredo when I finally decided open about what had happened few days ago. My memories might not be fully back yet but I remembered what had happened before my neighbors came in our house.
"He hit me" I mumbled and Alfredo raised his gaze on my level. "With broken bottle, these sores came of it" I pulled sleeve of my shirt up and showed a long sore on my left arm. Alfredo looked them shocked and shook his head. "Who in Earth can do something like that to his own girlfriend?" he mumbled out himself and looked me sadly.
"I'm so sorry" he mumbled and stood up to the table and came to hug me. "I can't probably ever understand how much that thing or promise that those memories will leave quickly out of your head. They need time but one thing I can promise, that he won't come close to you as long as you're here in my place" he said and kissed my cheek.
I nodded and pressed my head against his shoulder. "Thank you, Alfredo" I mumbled and felt how a small tear fall down my cheek. "Don't cry, Claire. You'll be fine" he mumbled and we stood there still few minutes just hugging before he let go. "Was it first time when he.." he asked and I shook my head. "Christ.." he mumbled and looked down. "You should have called to the police already when it first time happened" he continued.
I just nodded back even I didn't know did I agree with him or not. He doesn't know how hard it is. You can't just do it even it is right. You just want believe that everything will be fine even it will be the same day after day. When you love someone so hard, the love kind of blind you and you see nothing but the good sides of other one.

"He has hit me a few times before that but it was because of me. I deserved it because I talked with Justin which was wrong" I mumbled but Alfredo put his finger over my mouth. "Violence isn't right ever, EVER" he said calmly and looked me deeply in the eyes. "You have to wake up and come back to reality" he said.
"I just don't want to see you like that" he mumbled when we sat on his couch. "I want just you the best and that you can continue your life" I gulped and looked him shyly. "Thank you for listening. It really helped me a bit" I told. "Of course it did, you can tell me always whatever bothers you. That's why I'm here" Alfredo said.
Justin's POV:
"Julia, I have something to tell you. Could you come in the kitchen" I yelled to her and heard quick steps coming down the stairs. "Yeah, what's wrong?" she asked and I pointed her to sit. She looked me worried. "Tell me. Have I done something wrong?" I shook my head. "No, it's just that.. Julia.. that I-"
Words tangled in my throat and I felt bad. Was this a right choice? I took a deep breath and let it all come out. "I don't know if this work.." I mumbled and felt myself free after that. "What wouldn't work?" she asked confused and grip around my inner parts tightened again. "Us" I answered shortly and room got quiet.
"Oh" she mumbled finally and looked down. "I'm sorry but I just don't feel that something big over you" I said and sat other side of the table with you. I saw a tear in the corner of her eye. I swiped it away.
"You're really lovely and beautiful girl and I'm sure that you'll find someone who can treat you like a princess and love you like you would be the only thing in the world" I looked her and moved my hand over hers. She looked it and nodded.

"We can still be friends if you want though" I said and she nodded. "Sure" she whispered and smiled weakly before she stood up the table. She walked to upstairs and started collect her clothes there.
It took her about 15 minutes before she walked downstairs with her bag. I walked over her in the hallway and hugged her gently. "I'm sorry" I whispered and kissed her hair maybe the last time. "Don't, life isn't always full of happy endings and we just have to accept it" she tried act positive but I knew that I had hurt her.
"Well I think that you have still time to find that way to get a happy ending. I know that you will. Princesses got always happy ending" I mumbled to her and saw a little smile corner of her mouth. "Take care, Justin" she said before she left. I couldn't even say anything to her back.

Dropped into a Xianxia World
I think all of us have thought about what we would do in case of sudden Zombie apocolypse at least once.Acquiring a chainsaw and a team to get your back is a no brainer, but what do you do in case of sudden reincarnation? Not only that but in an all too familiar setting too...----This story should be a rather interesting journey for most, not the usual level up simulator that many Xianxia stories tend to be.I tried to create a very real personality of the Main character with quite a few flaws so don't expect him to always be right.A quick warning but 99% of the story will be held directly inside the MC's head and he tends to break the 4th wall very frequently, so don't be surprised.MATURE WARNING!This story has cursing, delicate subjects that may or may not offend people like the idea of slavery for example, descriptions of gore and death as well as erotic scenes! You have been warned!

Life, the struggle for existence
What would happen when man had to, once again, fight for its own right to live? Would the evolutionary counterparts of our ancestors manage to life through the struggle for survival? What would happen to society if a new reason for living came up, other than the enjoyment of the well-built environment? A reason that could either unite or destroy humanity. This is the struggle for their right of existence. As earth and its inhabitants are faced with the fear of unknown danger and the peril of monstrosities, some will falter, some will die and some will live on to tell the tales of those forgotten. As reality dictates, most will be part of the first two groups and only a small faction will be part of the latter. *This is my first attempt at writing fantasy, so I do hope you’ll enjoy it. The story is one of apocalyptic nature, with gigantic monsters, unfathomable powers and also a critial view on humanity and what it means to be human. I will definitely try to stay away from any tropes that are not neccesary to write fantasy, as I thoroughly despise non-creativity. There shall be no harems, no unrealistic behavior and absolutely no standard scene of dimwitted bandits that try to rob whatever similarly rock-brained princess they encounter. The main character is not black and white, because no human is completely good or completely evil. They’re human, not some idealistic concept of what one is supposed to be. Enjoy!Warning: Tagged 17+ for the occasional strong language and violence, some mild sexual content can occur in the distant future.
