《Bad Intentions》Nine

Rolling over I snuggled into the comfort of the plush bed. I inhaled the scent of a comforter allowing my body to relax from its warm smell.
The scent.
It reminds me of something.
I took another sniff. It was warm, inviting and intriguing.
Like a certain cologne I know.
My eyes shot open at the thought. I sat up in the bed and rub my groggy eyes. I looked around in my surroundings and I was definitely not in my room.
I was in a queen size bed with a dark blue comforter engulfing it. The walls of the room were painted in a light gray coat, not a single poster or photo on it. The furniture in the room were in black, the dresser, nightstands and desk. Books and CD's where stacked against the desk. The room was clean, well cleaner then mine.
Where the hell am I?
I quickly threw the comforter off my body and slid off the bed only for my feet to touch something hard and warm.
"Watch where you're stepping." A deep husky voice said.
Startled by the voice, I looked down to see who was there. "Jace?" I said incredulously. "Where the heck am I? And why are you here?"
Jace pushed the blanket he was covering with off his body and sat up. His dark hair messy, strands falling along his forehead. My breath hitching in my throat when I realized he was shirtless.
I couldn't stop my eyes from scanning his revealed torso and damn.
His tan skin glisten from the stream of sunlight that enter the room through the window. Every small movement caused his strong muscles to flex. The outline of a hard six pack was even evident in his sitting position.
Is it getting hot in here?
"Sweetheart, I know my body is to die for, but if you looking at me like that I just might have to show you just why I'm so irresistible." Jace said, his voice still husky from sleep. A mischievous smile on his lips.
I felt a deep blush heat my cheeks. "Where am I?" I asked ignoring his comment. The glint his eyes told me he was not done with that conversation.

"My room." He stated simply.
"Wait, what? Why am I here and not in my room?" I rambled. "And can you put on a shirt?"
Jace stood up a smirk still on his lips and slipped on a white shirt. He knew how much he effected me. "You fell asleep in the car and I didn't have your address. I tried waking you up, but damn do you sleep like a log. I called your name, shook you and even pinched your cheeks and nothing." I can't deny that, I am a pretty heavy sleeper. One time Kayla threw water on me. Twice. And nothing. "So, I had to bring to somewhere. Next best thing was my house."
"But in your bed?"
"Consider yourself lucky I didn't leave your ass at the front door." He said with his arms crossed over his muscular chest leaning against his dresser.
I mentally smacked myself. I should be thanking Jace for not leaving me in a stranded place, but instead I was giving him shit.
"You're right." I told him and his eyebrows shot up in amusement causing me to glare at him. "Don't get use to hearing that."
I need to get home.
Home.
Oh shit!
"Oh my god, my mom is going to murder me!" I yelled looking for my phone frantically. I'm going to die by the hands of my mother. Damn it! Why was I cursed with the ability to sleep like I was dead?
I looked over to one of the nightstand and saw my phone and grabbed it checking the messages. I had ten from Kayla and one from my mother.
I opened the one from my mother, my heart racing.
Wait, what?
Why would Kayla said I spend the night at hers?
I decided to call her instead of opening her messages. After two rings she answered.
"Where the hell are you!?" She yelled from the other end. "Your mom called and I had to cover for your ass! You are so damn lucky you're my best friend!"
I winced from how loud she was and Jace just looked at me with amusement.
"I kind of fell asleep on my way home." I told her.

"Ohh." Was all she said and she automatically knew. "Oh my god, you're with Jace aren't you?!" She yelled in excitement.
I winced once more. "Uh, kind of?" I said but it came out as a question.
Kayla squealed loudly on the other end. "Something is definitely going on between the two of you! You need to tell me now! Is he there right now?! Oh my god, Lee I know I told you to let loose, but I didn't think you let that loose!"
I wanted to smack her at that point. I looked over the Jace and see the devilish grin on his face widen. He heard what my idiot best friend said.
"Kay, it's not like that." I told her.
"Aww, babe. How can you say that? Didn't you have fun last night?" Jace said loud enough for Kayla to hear.
My eyes widen at his words. What. The. Hell.
The look on Jace's face said that he was enjoying my squirming too much.
"That's him!" Kayla yelled over the phone. I had to keep my phone arm length from ear cause I'm sure she would break my eardrum. "Wow, his voice is even sexy in the morning."
I had to resist the urge to roll my eyes. Jace decided to egg it on even more adding more fuel to Kayla's fire.
"Sweetheart, where are you going? Let's continue what we were doing last night." He said once more. I was fuming at this point so I grabbed a pillow off the bed and chucked it at his head.
Jace caught the pillow easily in his arms and let out a light chuckle. He was enjoying this too much.
"Leah Ann Tate! What happ-" Kayla started to say, but I cut her off.
"Kay! I'll tell you later, okay? But I have to go now. Okay, bye. Please don't kill me!" I spoke quickly and hung up the phone.
I breathe a sigh of relief.
"What the hell, you asshole?" I gritted our shooting a glare his way. "Did you really have to do that?"
"What?" He said innocently. "Nothing like a little early morning fun." Sending a wink my way.
"Whatever." I muttered then as if on cue I felt like my bladder was about explode. Can't catch a break this morning! "Bathroom, now." Was all I could say.
Jace understood and pointed to a door directly behind me and without another word I sprinted in there in record time.
After doing my business I glanced into the mirror over the sink. My once perfectly curled hair was now loose and slightly messy. The eyeliner around my eyes was smudged. I noticed two red lines along my cheeks. Kind looking like a hot mess. Not thinking much of it, I decided to wash my face clear of the makeup.
I looked back into the mirror to see the red marks on my cheeks still there. I groaned. How hard did he pinch me?
I walked out the bathroom ready to give Jace a piece of my mind only to find an empty room.
Where the hell did he go?
I walked over to what I was hoping the door that led out and luckily it was. I walked into the hall when I got a whiff of what smelt like pancakes. I followed the smell down the steps and into the kitchen where I saw Jace standing by the stove.
His back was facing me. Even with slight movements of turning what ever was in the pan caused his muscles to move at ease. As if he sensed my presence, Jace turned around with a smirk on his face. "Pancakes?"
I took a seat one one of the stools placed in front of breakfast counter. "Do you always make breakfast for the girls you bring home?"
"Only the pretty ones." He teased sending a wink my way while placing pancake on the plate in front of me.
A blush seeped onto my cheeks. "Whatever." I grumbled. "Do you mind taking me home?"
"No can do, Sweetheart." He answered placing a cup of coffee in front of me.
"What? Why?" I asked in surprise. I mean he brought me here. The least he can do is take me home.
"Because you're gonna be spending the day with me."
