"I'm not going." I said flatly to Kayla.

"Come on, Leah!" She exclaimed. "We have to! This only comes around once, ever."

I shook my head. "Nope." I told her turning my attention back to my laptop trying to find something new to binge watch on Netflix. It was Friday night already and I wanted to just stay in after my last eventful days.

After what happened during Biology class, Nate hasn't been around Kayla and I as much. He would greet us, but nothing more than that. He didn't sit with us at lunch. It seemed like he rekindle old friendships and didn't have time with us anymore. Which made me feel kind of empty. Isn't this what I wanted?

Jace on the other hand kept with his constant pestering. He would make it his mission to annoy me in every class we had together, people were starting to notice our interactions. This caused questions to circulating about us. But I didn't pay any mind to them.

I just have to say, thank god Kayla didn't notice what happened in Biology or else she would literally have me locked in my room interrogating me with questions. She would make it into one of those interrogation scenes. Dark room with one light shining at me, wearing a serious expression and throwing shit around to scary me into telling the truth.

She's intense.

Focusing back onto my laptop, I continue to browse. I watched almost every show Netflix had to offer at the moment. So I was going through a list of shows I've watched before. I mean I could definitely rewatch Teen Wolf.

Stiles, honey, where can I find someone like you?

As I was deciding between Teen Wolf and deciding if I should start from the beginning all over again for the fourth time or do something new and watch it backwards, I mean watching it backward would mean I could see my favorites come back to life, my laptop was slammed shut and pulled off my lap.

Kayla stood there with her hands on her hips and a grimace on her face. "No Stiles tonight. We are going to the bonfire."

I rolled my eyes and laid on my bed. She took my husband away. "Why do we have to go?"

"Because!" She exclaimed once more.

"Because?" I questioned.

"Because we're finally seniors and we finally able to go to this thing! I've waited eighteen years to go to this and you will not stop us from going!" She huffed.

"Fine, fine. Just don't blow your head off your shoulders." I told her playfully.

Kayla rolled her eyes and headed towards my closet and started to rummage through it.

I sighed. I didn't want to go to this stupid bonfire. It was a tradition for the school's senior class. Every year the new senior class would throw a bonfire and try to outdo the previous senior class. It was basically a party with just a fire.

Alcohol, music, and people dry humping. You know the usual.

And honestly I wasn't about that life.

But Kayla wanted to go and what kind of best friend would I be if I disappointed her?

She's been waiting forever to go to this thing. I guess we can go for a bit.

"Here." She said tossing me a shirt from my closet. I held the shirt up, it was a white long sleeved cropped blouse that had black strips running along the fabric in a vertical path.

I remember buying this a while back, but never wore it because the neckline was a little too low for my liking.

She tossed me a pair of black jeans, they were high waisted and ripped at thigh area and knees. "Wear those with that top."

I rolled my eyes at her. "Yes, mom." I mocked.

After changing into the outfit, I was still a little uncomfortable with the low neckline. So Kayla took a safety pin and pinned it closed slightly while calling me a prude.

If I don't want my boobs to be popping out, that doesn't make a prude. Makes me damn classy, if you ask me.

Kayla sat me down and started to curl my hair. "Why do we have dress up?" I asked. Kayla was dressed in medium washed jeans and a red floral blouse that fell off the shoulders. Her dark blonde hair was tied back in sleek ponytail.

"Don't you finally want a boyfriend this year?" She retorted. I rolled my eyes at her as she continued. "Just let loose a little, Lee. Enjoy being a senior."

She was right.

No harm in letting loose a little, right?

I could hear the music thumping as Kayla and I walked towards the clearance.

As we inch closer, I could see the orange hue of the bonfire illuminating the area. The music was getting louder and I could see the other students dancing and chatting.

There in middle of the clearance was the large fire. Around it were large logs for people to sit. Coolers where filled with ice and drinks. Beer to be specific.

I look over to Kayla to see her bursting at the seam with joy. "Let's go get a drink!" She shouted over the music.

I nodded and let her lead us to one of the coolers. She bend over and grabbed two cans of beer and handing one to me.

Now, I'm not much of a drinker and rarely do I go to parties. But for my best friend I'll have one drink.

I cracked open the can. "Cheers!" Kayla yelled over the music taking a sip of her drink.

I did the same, swallowing the cool bitter liquid. I'll never get why people like beer.

"Is Miss Goody Two Shoes drinking?" I heard a deep voice say from behind.

Kayla eyes widen as she looked over my shoulder. "I'm g-gonna go find Sam." She stuttered slightly and walked away quickly.

Problem?

We don't know a Sam.

I turned around to see who exactly scared away my best friend and was met with hazel eyes.

Jace looked at me with amusing smirk on his lips. He was dressed in a navy v-neck shirt and a pair of medium washed jeans. His shirt outline the defined muscles on his body, making them even more evident. I'm sure a shirt is not suppose to do that. His dark brown hair was in its usual style, slightly tousled. I could smell hints of his intoxicating cologne.

Damn, he looked hot.

"Now love, I don't think beer is the thing for you." He said slipping the can out of my hand and took a sip. "Soda is more your style."

"And what exactly is my style?" I took my can of beer back, taking another sip from it. Still don't get why people like this.

Jace's eyes scanned my body slowly. His eyes went from my head to toe and right back up. I felt a warm blush creep up on my cheeks.

His eyes met mine again, his smirk still evident in his lips. "You're a good girl. One who doesn't come to things like this, don't drink, or done one thing bad ever. You rather stay home out of trouble, probably watch Netflix shows and eat junk food and I'm quite sure you've never had a boyfriend."

Nailed it.

But was I going to let him know he was right?

Hell Freaking No.

"You think you have me all figured out, huh?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Basically."

"Well, let me tell you about your style." I said narrowing my eyes. "You act like a bad boy. All tough, like the world did something against you. You put off this aura that everyone should be scared of you. You flirt, sleep around and somehow that inflated your ego more. You go around getting in trouble thinking it would toughen you reputation. You think you're so attractive that every girl wants you. News flash, sweetheart, you are not all that."

I stepped around him and walked away in the other direction.

Once I was a few feet away and my emotions calmed down, it hit me.

What the hell did I just do?

I mentally smacked myself.

I literally just told Jace off.

Shit.

Once again, I'm so screwed.
