《Not Friends》Small.

"It's quite small." I bite my bottom.
"Yeah but there's nothing wrong with it. And if you ask me, it's not too small." He smirks and I roll my eyes.
"Come on Tino, look at it! It's too...tiny." I stare down at it once more.
"Would you prefer that it already be huge?" He lifts an eyebrow.
"Well yeah. That would give me the reassurance that nothing's wrong with my babies." I roll my eyes.
"It's fine. The doctor will tell us if there's something we have to worry about." He smiles at me once more and I nod.
And just on time the doctor walks in with a cherry smile on her face which makes me want to gag.
"How are you guys doing today?" Her tone is too happy it makes me want to vomit.
In response I just grunt and Tino nods.
"Okay. So your first trimester is over." She walks towards me. "Tell me how it was." She now becomes a bit serious.
"It wasn't as bad as most women say their's was. I barely had morning sickness or moody days and I didn't really crave much." I say and she takes notes on her paper. "Hey doc, can you tell me why my belly is so small?"
She looks up from her papers and looks at my belly.
She puts down the papers and leads me to the scale and brings out the measuring tape.
"So?" I ask when she's checked my weight and my tummy's growth progress.
"Tell me. Have you been stressing a lot lately?" She asks and I bite my bottom lip.
"She has. A lot actually." Tino answers for me.
"That's the problem." She leads me back to the bed and makes me lay on my back on the bed. "I'm guessing that your hormones aren't really circulating throughout your body properly because of all the stress which is delaying a few of your most common pregnancy symptoms." She explains and I frown.

She tells to lift up my shirt which I do as told and she splats the annoyingly cold gel on my belly.
"I also get a sense that you're not eating as you should, so that's prone why you and your babies are a little underweight."
She brings the machine and starts looking inside my stomach.
At first the room is silent but then the audio goes on and we hear three heartbeats.
"Do you hear that?" The doctor smiles. "Two of those beats are your babies and the third one is yours." She smiles at me warmly.
Gosh. Just hearing the heartbeats makes me want to cry, and guess what?
I'm crying. Crying tears of joy.
Tino takes my hand in his and I look at him with a teary smile.
"Tino..." I say will a smile.
"Look now." She says and we face the screen.
They are still so small but they are there and that's the best feeling ever.
"They look a little cramped up in there." Tino says and I turn to him with a glare and he chuckles.
I turn my attention back to my babies, our babies.
"Wow...I can't believe I'm carrying this. I'm carrying them, life." I say in awe.
"I know right." The doctors says, then clears her throat. "Okay, I need you to start taking pregnancy supplements, they help in keeping the babies healthy, also I want you to stop stressing. Maybe work less than you did, travel less, you know. I also want you to eat a more balanced diet, I'll hand you a paper on that." She order and I nod.
She then turns her attention to Tino. "And you, you make sure that she doesn't stress. Give her whatever she wants as long as it doesn't cause her stress or harm her." She deadpans.
"Okay, now I'll go and get you pictures and you'll be free to go." She leaves and I wipe the gel of my tummy.

"So this is it." Tino says from beside.
"What?" I turn to face him.
"This is where our lives change. Where they begin. The first and most dangerous part of the trimester has past, leaving us to be a bit more free to breathe." He grins and I smile softly.
"With that being said, how far are you on building my mansion?" I smirk as I sit up.
He lifts his eyebrows up and laugh like I was joking.
"I haven't started, nor am I going to build it because I'm going to win." He smiles.
"It's fine, but when they come, I'll be adding interest to your punishment for losing." I hop as Valentino helps. "I'm pregnant not disabled. No disrespect to the disable people." I glare at Tino but he only chuckles.
"Come one, Harley. We both know that you tend to be a klutz." He smiles softly and I roll my eyes.
We head of the hospital without any drama like the last time and head on to Valentino's house.
Once we get there I settle myself in, in the living and turn the tv on.
I head straight to E!, and ironically find E! news beginning.
"Harley Snart." The guy announces.
"Mama bear?" One of the women starts.
"Or mama belly?" The other finishes and I snort.
Tino walks in the living room with a packet of family pack, sweet chili Doritos.
I greedily take the packet and open the packet, immediately munching on the tangy chips.
"What are you watching?" Tino asks and I simply point at the tv.
"Starting with our homegirl, Harley Snart." The woman smiles.
"Is homegirl pregnant? Or is she just having too much fats to eat and lazy to work it off?" The man asks.
A picture of the first time I was at the hospital pops up. I was covering my face but not my tiny belly.
"She could be pregnant, providing that she was at the hospital." The other woman pitches in.
"Or she could've been consulting with a dietitian." The man nonchalantly shrugs with his statement and I guap.
"Rude much!" I yell at the tv with a mouth full of crispy chips.
"Either way, we will find out soon when she opens her new hotel in a couple weeks." The first woman pitches in again.
"Maybe that's what's making homegirl let herself go." The guy rolls his eyes and I glare at him, although he can't see it.
"I'm going to kill that guy." I seethe and Tino just laughs.
"Moving on from potbellied people." The uninterestedly announces and lights up when he announces the next news. "Marilyn Payne is expecting. Finally someone who isn't fooling us with laziness." He says and I roll my eyes.
"She's expecting a baby with her ex-fiancee, Valentino Kingston." The second woman smiles.
"And why don't they just make amends?" The first woman pitches back in. "Because according to anonymous sources, Valentino has a side under the covers. It was saud that she'd been there during the engagement." The woman finishes off.
"Imagine if that side was mama belly." The guy snickers at his statement and my eyes pop wide open and the glare at the man.
"We wish but it's just impossible." The second woman saves and my eyes soften on the screen.
As I watch, Tino switches the tv off and I turn to glare at him.
"Hey I–" I start but he quickly cuts me off with just one word, or name in particular.
"Marilyn. "
