《Abyssal Attractions ( Yandere creature x reader)》Dinner with a Demon

You woke up under the small Ramada that Hoolan had built for you. The first thing coming to your senses was the sound of the waves on the sand. Shorty after Hoolan made his promise the blood loss had gotten to you, and you passed out. Now you were awake again, and Hoolan was once again nowhere to be seen.
You slowly leaned up into a sitting position, needing to use your hands as balance in place of your missing leg. You looked up at the little shade shelter. It was quite expertly built. You wondered if Hoolan knew how to do that or if he took the skill from the guy he was marionetting.
It gave you shade against the sun though, so that was good. You did not like that at first, considering you had been deprived of the sun for who knows how long. But with you being unable to move the sun would roast you alive on the sand, so maybe the Ramada was a good thing.
It stood on ten-foot sticks, with plant fibers finely woven together at the top. Every now and then the sun would peek through a little gap. Casting beams of light unto your shade. You lifted your hand to the nearest one and held your palm out, holding the small light.
You gave a small sigh through your nostrils. How on earth did you wind up here? You knew you often asked yourself that, but it was probably a question you would keep asking yourself until you died. How did you, A Nineteen-year-old girl who just wanted to learn about the animals of the sea, get caught in the obsession of an ocean cryptid and losing your leg?
You had no fathom as to how you got here, but you were here, so there was nothing to be done about the past. You needed to keep your eyes forward and focus on the new task at hand. You were on a tropical island, where you had no idea where.
Hoolan promised you that he would never lay a harmful hand on you again, but you didn't know if you fully believed him. If you ever could get away the chances of that became a hundred times lower now that you were a cripple.
You just needed to do what you were doing before. Try to not piss Hoolan off and hope you can find a way without him noticing. If you ever could that is. It's not like you could take a stroll around the island and see if there is civilization somewhere on it.
Probably not considering Hoolan did not like to have you anywhere but with him. It probably would not hurt to ask right? Don't think that. That would go against the rule of not doing anything to piss him off.
You heard the sound of footsteps in sand coming from your left again. You turned your head to the noise and saw Hoolan approaching you with something flung over his shoulders. You looked at the ground quickly again, not wanting to meet his gaze as he got closer. Once he was at your side he set what he was holding down next to you and knelt down to stroke your face.

" I'm glad to see you're doing ok Polyp. You had me worried. How are you feeling?" He said as he brushed his hand across your face and through your hair. Giving you a hopeful smile. You did not like the smile. It reminded you of the time in the cave after your escape attempt and he flashed you those small pearly white triangle teeth. That would haunt your memories forever.
" I'm... I'm alright." You said quietly. It was not a lie if you were talking about if you were in pain. You actually were not. You were a little sore and there was a small ache where your wound was. But whatever Hoolan was using to treat your wound was doing miracles, for you were not in any real pain. Physically that is.
Hoolan gave you a bigger smile and leaned over, giving you a small kiss on your temple. You tensed up slightly as he did, choosing to focus on the thing he had with him rather than the affection he was giving you.
It looked like a rolled-up mat of palm leaves. Woven together with skill like the fronds on the Ramada. Hoolan pulled away, his hands cupping your cheeks, and noticed you looking at the mat.
" I made it so you don't have to lay on the sand anymore." He said, reaching over to grab it.
" I'm ok." You replied quietly.
" No, I don't want to laying on the sand. I don't want sand to get into your wound." He said firmly. setting the mat down slightly to your right and unrolling it. You watched as he unrolled it, making sure there was no sand on it before turning to you. You were surprised though, and a little scared when he suddenly crawled on top of you, pushing you back down to the ground and pinning you there.
" Wait, Hoolan, what are you- stop!" You cried out, panicking a little and trying to push him off of you. He simply grabbed your hands and held them in a tight, but gentle grip."
" It's ok, I'm just going to move you onto the mat. Wrap your arms around me." He said in a soothing voice. You were a trembling mess. You were so afraid of him even though he had not done anything yet. You had every right to be though, considering all the things he did in the past.
He just continued to look in your eyes as he slowly brought your hands up and around to grab onto his back. After that, he reached down and grabbed your remaining leg, bringing it up to wrap around the small of his back. You stayed rigid as he did this, afraid to do anything.
He slid one of his hands under you and grabbed onto your back, before lifting you up slowly, only a few inches off the ground, and with as much gentleness as he could. You gripped onto him as tightly as you could. Flinching as your wound flared with pain.

" Hoolan!" You cried out as he shifted you over to the mat, and set you down on it as softly as he could. Once you were on the ground again, the pain in your wound subsided, and you were left with a small sting in its place.
" There we go, much better." He said as you let go of his back. The mat was actually fairly comfortable. It was warmer than the sand, and not as hard. You flinched again as he suddenly cupped your cheek in one of his big hands.
" Polyp, are you hungry?" He said, looking at you intently. Now that he brought that up you realized that you were absolutely famished. You don't remember the last time you ate or had anything to drink. When you were sick in the cave you would always throw it back up.
You nodded, a little frantically and he nodded back. Getting up and walking out of the shade, going to one of the nearest palm trees before climbing it as easily as people could a ladder. He climbed up to the top and started grabbing the Green coconuts that were growing.
Once he had a bunch he leaped down and started walking back over to you. He knelt down beside you and started to crack them open.
" You can drink the water from these as I go get you some food he said." As he punctured a hole in the first one, forming his index finger into a thick spike. Once that one was open you nearly snatched it from his grip and started to down the whole thing.
It tasted like absolute heaven. Your body was so deprived of any kind of nutrients. You got in a few quick chugs before Hoolan stopped you.
" Slow down Polyp, you'll get sick." He said, giving you a worried look. You gave him a shakey, wide-eyed nod and continued to drink from the coconut, a little slower this time. He got the other two open and then leaned over and gave you a kiss on the temple again.
" I'll be back soon polyp. I'm going to get you some food. If you need me, shout and I will hear you." He said. You gave him another wide-eyed nod, probably looking like you had lost your mind. He looked over you for a couple more seconds before getting up and disappearing into the treeline.
You drank the sweet liquid from the coconuts as if you had not had anything to drink for the past month. Trying to hold back a little so you didn't get sick as Hoolan said.
You chomped down the little pieces of pulp that floated in the water. Enjoying every last second of it. Once you were done with the first coconut you moved on to the second one. You had two more not including the one you just grabbed. You drank it, feeling the drink rehydrate your body.
You looked out to the horizon and saw that the sun was actually beginning to disappear behind it. You hadn't realized that it was so late. The sun was setting in front of you so that meant you were facing west. You drank your coconut water and watched the sunset, forgetting for a slight second, of all that had happened to you.
Hoolan was back very quickly, carrying a whole array of tropical fruits with him. Including mangoes, Papaya's, Guavas and other sorts of delicious looking things. You were actually surprised that Hoolan was bringing you fruit and not raw fish.
Hoolan sat down next to you and started to peel one of the mangoes for you. You whimpered quietly as he did so, wanting nothing more than to eat until you exploded. As soon as he was done he handed the dripping pulp to you and you snatched it much as you had done with the coconut.
You took a big bite of it and moaned at how good it tasted. Hoolan looked up from splitting a papaya and smiled at you before continuing his work. You took another big bite and held still for a second. Afraid that your body would vomit it all back up again.
After a minute you still had not thrown up. In fact, your body, mind, and soul were practically screaming at you to keep going. So you did just that. You finished the mango and grabbed the papaya Hoolan handed you, using your fingers to dig out the meat so you could eat it.
This went on for a while. Hoolan would prepare fruit for you and you would devour it when he was done. He would prepare another fruit as you ate. This continued until all the fruits were gone and all the coconuts were empty. You let out a small belch, feeling good all over.
By this time the sun had fully set, and it was dark. You could barely see Hoolan now. However, you felt him gently push you down onto the mat.
" Sleep Polyp, you need to regain your strength, let your body use it to heal." He said. Stroking your hair again. You didn't object. The small feast you had really hit the spot, and you were tired again. So you closed your eyes and listened to the sound of the waves. Feeling Hoolan stroke your hair.
You did not really like it, but you did not care at the moment. You were just glad to finally have eaten. Eventually, the sound of the waves lulled you into a deep, much needed sleep.

Evolution (Rewrite)
In a single instant, we lost everything. All the technology and progress made by the humankind stopped working. However, that was just the beginning of a new age of evolution — an era marked by battles and fighting for survival to make humanity reach the next level. To me, the end of our civilization made me realize many things. It made me realize how I was short-sighted and weak. Many people died in just a few days. And that made me understand how humankind was soft. But in the end, all my struggles were for naught. In the end, everything made me understand what I truly was. I was just a... Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
