(time skip to when your sleeping)
"AH-" waking up in a cold sweat i realize i was having a nightmare.
i put my hand on my chest and sit on the edge of my bed, my feet touching the floor, trying to catch my breath
i feel a slight breeze against my back and look to see my window open
i already know who it is
going to lay back down i feel a body in my spot
jumping and looking at who it is- fucking bibtch. ghostface was staring at me, though this time his outfit was different
he wore a black hoodie that fit him nice, wearing the same mask, and some ripped black jeans paired with some combat boots
he had knife holsters on his thighs that held his weapons
"glow up?" i ask tired and laughing a bit
i go to the other side of my bed and lay down, making it to where my back is against the man who has killed so many other people
'maybe not the best idea'
i feel and arm wrap around my and a chest against my back
'warm..'
his hands glided down my body and made its stop at my stomach pulling me close, forgetting about my punch
"aH-!" the pain of it was getting kinda bad
the man behind me flinched and pulled back, turning me onto my back he slowly lifts up my shirt
seeing a large blue-purple bruise he seemed to noticeably seething
"who did this to you." he asked me, his hand slighty grazing over it, stopping as i flinched
"just some asshole i bumped into, its not a big deal." i say pulling at his hands trying to get him to come back
"what did he look like." he asked still pressuring it

"i dont know i forgot" i answer, really tired at the moment and just wanting to sleep
"dont lie to me." hes getting angrier
i slowly try and get up, stopping when i feel pain surge through my body
"fuck-" whispering lowly i try and get my mind off the pain and continue "im going to be alright, i promise, the bruise will be gone in no time" putting my hand on where i think his cheek is, seemed to surprisingly calm him down
he leans into my hand for a comfortable silence then gets up and exits my room.
he comes back with my medkit
"lay down for me hotstuff" he tells me and i lay down, trying not to express the pain i was feeling
he lifts up my shirt enough to see the bruise and puts some cream on it and then slowly starts to bandage me, wrapping gauge around my stomach
"your too nice to me, when are you gonna gut me like a pig" i say trying to make since of the literal killers odd behavior
"ive changed my mind on that but i can tease you" i can since his wink
"you wouldnt do that to a disabled person right?" i say nervously
"i would not, but your not disabled, and even if you were, that pretty face of yours would still drive me mad" he puts my shirt down and gets closer to my face
"you know how to use your words" i can feel heat rise to my face when he said those things
he puts his mask up, only his mouth being visible and the rest being to dark for me to see
our mouths only inches apart
'save room for jesus-'
when were less than an inch apart i close my eyes, kinda actually wanting it
'that felt wrong to think-'
when im bracing for impact, it didnt come-
he puts- pain killers? in my mouth
"swallow for me" i see his his smirk as he brings water to me
i swallow as he grins and kisses my cheek
getting up and going to my window
"ill be back later hot stuff" he fixes his mask and jumps out my window
"that was hot" didnt mean to say that out loud but DAMN hes HOT

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.
