The conversation died soon after that, and I had to admit, I was a bit disappointed. I went ahead and finished up my day. I made ( f/f ) for dinner, and called it a night. I was awoken at around 5 AM from my phone going off. I grabbed it off my nightstand, squinting at the blurry words on the screen. To my surprise, they were all messages from Ghost.
Ghost: hey wake up
Ghost: come on wake up idiot
Ghost: bro I know it's early but damn
Ghost: wanna talk or not, I'm boreddd
Even in your tired state, you jolted forward, smiling.
Me: Jeez you're annoying
Ghost: guess the role is finally reversed
Me: oh fuck off
Ghost: kidding kidding, anyway what's up
Me: well I was sleeping until about 2 minutes ago
Ghost: aw come on don't be like that
Me: alright alright, why'd u decide to spam me?
Ghost: I wanted to know ur name
Me: why do u want to know my name?
Ghost: because I want to know who I'm looking at
A strike of fear hit you, and you start looking around the room rapidly

Relief hit you like a truck, and you smiled.

You mute Ghost's notifications, and head back to bed, smiling at the fact that they now want to talk to you, it's like you're becoming actual friends.
