Ivan's fist were tightly clenched around the steering wheel as we drove down the street. He clearly wasn't very pleased with my choice in conversation as he successfully managed to shut down every attempt I made to start another.
It wasn't even that bad was it? I was only joking and the whole fangs and turning me thing, besides I'm sure he mentioned before that turning me would eventually have to happen so i really don't know what is problem is.
"Are we really going back to the silent treatment?....we spend more time arguing and ignoring each other then we actually do getting along.... I blame you" I blurt out disrupting the silence.
He looks at me from the corner of his eyes and clenches his jaw.
"Yeah that's right it your fault we always argue and fight. When things are going alright Ivan decides he wants to mess everything up, oh look Rogue is peacefully sat on my lap, you know what I might just call her a fatty for the sake of it. You're mean, rude, inconsiderate, arrogant and power crazy not mention extremely jealous with a light pinch of serious anger issue, by the way you might want to consider taking a class or speaking someone about that, they might give you some pills" my words were rushed and completely out of the blue, my reasons for snapping like that were non existent and by the looks of it so was Ivan's calmness.
"You know what Rogue YOU have a serious fucking problem, in fact you have many problems, about 50 to be exact. You're extremely annoying, stupid and immature. I find your frigidness frustrating and your upbeat personality beyond aggravating. I find you somewhat unbearable for the majority of the time. To be honest I've been trying to get past your flaws, all 5000 of them, but it's turning out to be quite a mission and I'm not sure I'm cut out for it" he snaps back but his words were a lot more powerful then mine.
His words he chose to describe me were hurtful and mean but I should of seen it coming Ivan is not the person known to back down from a fight.
"Well aren't you sweet, oh how hard you must of had it dealing with all my flaws" I force out unable to give a sarcastic or smart mouth comment in return.
I tried my best to hide my wounded expression but just like everything else I do, it failed to go unnoticed by Ivan, his face hardened before changing, guilt and regret was evident on his face.
"Well I'm glad we both got that of our chests, it's obvious we feel as if this isn't going to work so let's not drag this out any longer" as the car came to a stop I took that as a cue to remove myself from the situation...... When I say remove mean leave and when I say situation I'm referring to the car.
I don't wait to hear Ivan's words or see his reaction as I momentarily adjust to my surroundings.
After missing an oncoming vehicle by a fraction, I dart across the road almost breaking my ankles in the process. I turn down the street and make my way towards a library. I know exactly where we are, it's about 25 minutes from my house, I used to come to this library when I was taking my exams. It wasn't the most modern or well kept place around but it was private and not many people visited it. God knows how this place is still up and running.

I push my way through the heavy doors and make my way into the building, just like any other library the atmosphere was dull and dead, the smell of wood polish and old books filled the air. The dust caused my nose to tickle as well as making eyes water. An old unfamiliar lady was sat at the front desk minding her own business, clearly unfazed by my presence as I slowly stalked towards the stairs that lead to second and third floor.
The sound of heels thumping against the poorly carpeted stairs had echoed around the building as I continued to walk up the steps.
The tedious climbing had slightly tired me out leaving me desperate for a rest. I made my way to the back of the room on the third floor, to retire at a very well known desk.
It was where I used to sit down when I did my work, it was a quiet and secluded area with a large wooden desk and an old computer. It was surrounded by shelfs that had been stacked sky high with outdated books. To my left was a window that casted a pretty amazing view of the street and If looked straight ahead, I had a perfect view of the entrance so I could see anyone that entered the room.
Before I take a seat I scan the book shelfs starting from the first row.
Ive always been a huge fan of reading but some of these authors and book titles were like a foreign language to me.
Along I go down the third row and still there's not a book that catches my eye however the movement from the far corner of the room does.
I hold my gaze on the designated area for a while before returning to my search.
Success! It has only taken me about 10 years to find a book but finally I did, well to be honest I got bored so I decided to read the book that caught my attention first. It's always good to find a book you can realty to and nothing would suit me more then a good old read of Bram Stokers "Dracula". It may be a little far fetched but they do the same things, drink blood, kill people, ruin people's lives, say hurtful things. Hmmm I wonder who else matches this criteria?
I stop in my tracks to briefly scan the area, the felling that I wasn't alone was growing rapidly. But then again I always used to feel like tags when I was here.
With a quick wipe of the surfaces, I take a seat on the surprisingly comfortable chair and open the book.
I skip past the acknowledgements until I reach the first chapter, immediately I'm glued to the book.
My devoted attention to the captivating words had left me oblivious to the movement within the first floor. It wasn't until the sound of a story being recited aloud, distracted me from my book, pulling me for the painted picture in my head.
I slowly looked up from my book towards the entrance, no one was there and I hadn't heard anyone come in. Was i imagining it ? No way I heard a voice and it was clear as a day, but who was it and where was it coming from?.

Without a second thought I turned my book over and rose from my seat, making sure to be as quiet as possible. I stepped out from behind my desk and peered my head down each side of the book isles but there wasn't anyone there.
I continued to do the same foe the rest of the isles, rotating my head from left to right. Nothing down the sixth or Fifth Isle, not a soul down the fourth or the third. My anxiety levels were getting higher by the second causing my palms to sweat.
This was the third floor nobody else was here except the old women from downstairs. It was dark and creepy not to mention it ticked all the right boxes for a perfect murder scene. I was probably being dramatic but these days you can't trust anyone, a smile can hide so many dark secrets. Being here alone with possibility of being accompanied by a psychotic murderer had caused my fear levels to shoot through the roof.
I had made my way to the final Isle but there was still nobody in sight.
Bang
The sound of a book colliding with the floor and made me jump out of my skin, earning a fear filled scream to leave my lips. Screw this!
"Hello?" I sheepishly call out in hope for an answer.
But just as I thought complete silence. I was about to run then it hit me, the only creepy thing going on here was Ivan's twisted games.... Yeah and I'm the immature one.
"Ivan I know it's you, I'm not stupid and I'm not in the mood so go away" I call out before confidently striding back to my seat. I flipped the book back around and just as before I continued reading.
It didn't take long as the feeling of being watched had returned and this time when I looked up from my books my eyes locked with someone else's that were peeping through a gap in the books.
Almost instantly I was up on my feet, something wasn't right. Ivan's eyes were green the ones hidden between the books were dark brown.
"Who's there? Do you need something?....come out now" my words were cowardly and weak. I had no desire to see the person that was responsible for my fear.
The voice was present once more, this time it was in a deeper tone. Books continued to fall of the shelfs, each time my body would jump out of fear. Footsteps were being heard as well as the scuffing of shoes.
"Ivan" instead of saying his name hoping for a response, I said it hoping he would show up.
I was scared and my feet were not moving from this spot, that was until a book came flying off the shelf and in my direction and I made a run for it.
With a look back I could see a dark shadow mimicking a human body stood by one of the isles. My speed increased but came to a stop when i collided with a body.
I instantly hit the floor, my bum took the impact of the fall. Looking up at the dark figure towers over me causing me to scramble in the other direction, I return to the desk and climb under it.
This is not right, I've never seen anything like that before. I bury my head In my arms as I hear the footsteps getting nearer. After a while they suddenly stop causing my heart to do the same thing.
"Boo!"
A loud scream leaves my lips as the back of my head connects with the desk. A pair of arms reach out and pull me from under the shelter, I keep my eyes closed and try my best to break free of its grip.
"Woah stop....fuck me Rogue will you stop....open your eyes!"
Two large hands caress either side of my face and I open my eyes to see Ivan.
"What's the matter?" He frantically asks.
"There was someone here and they were staring at me" I panic
"What was it a ghost....a monster?" He asks as he ushers me towards the desk.
"I don't know maybe, it was black" i reply
"Was it talking and throwing books around?"
"Yes! Yes! And it was moving really fast"
"Oh my god" Ivan States as he runs a hand through his hair.
"What was it?"
"I don't know how to tell you this Rogue"
"Tell me what Ivan?" I ask with a worried expression.
"You have Imachickenshit syndrome" he relies.
"Imachickenshit syndrome, oh my god what's that?" I frantically ask as I put my hands over my mouth.
Instead of responding Ivan bursts out into a fit of laughter.
What's going on, why is he laughing? I have imachickensh- that's no even funny.
"Imachickenshit syndrome!" I call out, causing Ivan to laugh louder. I pick up the book Dracula and throw it at Ivan, he dodged it of course which only made me angrier.
"Jesus Christ Rogue, I can't believe you fell for it! I am a fucking legend"
"Get out of here Ivan! How did you even do all of that"
He shrugs his shoulders before finally stopping his laughter.
"That was great, I haven't laughed like that in centuries"
"Oh great, well I'm glad you find me entertaining" he rolls his eyes before readjusting his suit and taking the seat opposite me.
"Come on Rogue"
"No Ivan I want you to leave, the jokes over. You only see to be enjoying yourself when your messing with me. On the bright side you can add being a chicken shit to my list of flaws, what is it now? 5001"
He fidgets in his chair and let's out a heavy sigh.
"What do you want? Do you want to talk?Do you want me to leave?" He asks
"I want you to leave" I calmly reply.
He takes a brief look at me before shaking his head and standing up.
"Talk.... I want to talk" I quickly add.
He stops in his tracks and returns to his seat.
"Alright, so let's talk....where do you wanna start?"
"Do you like me?"
