"The elevators are quite tricky aren't they, all those buttons and numbers" Ivan teased whilst twiddling a pen in his hands.
"HA" I bluntly say before sitting in the empty black leather chair.
Just as everything else in this place it was expensive and designer.
The office was huge and the colours scheme black, white and grey was present through out the room. The left side of the wall was a massive glass window which had an amazing view. Whilst various plants, decorations and furniture gave the place that extra bit of sophistication, this office screamed dominance and authority. Walking in here and seeing Ivan sat at his desk, you could see he was the boss and he was in charge.
I adjust my seating position until I was completely comfortable. The atmosphere was quiet and dull in here, I didn't like it.
I repeatedly tap my expensive heel against the desk as a sign of boredom. My annoying actions clearly didn't go unnoticed as Ivan looked up from his work to give me a look of disapproval.
"What? Is it annoying you" I state before taping my heel harder.
In a blink of an eye Ivan had appeared right in front of me. His hands rested on either side of the chair arms as he remained dangerously close to my face.
Ever since Ivan's return my attraction to him has grown rapidly and it is continuing to do so. I just can't help it, his cockiness and arrogance kind of gets me......excited.
I find myself thinking of things......very inappropriate....sexual things. Tasha suggested I talk to ivan about it but I laughed straight in her face, me tell Ivan! Yeah right he'd tease me about for the lest of my life, not a chance over my dead body.
But I was certain he was starting to catch on, the look in his eye and the stupid smirk would always give it away.
"What's the matter Rogue? You look a little......un easy" he teased
"No I'm not... its just a little hot in here" I reply, pushing myself further back into the chair.
"Are you sure it isn't just me"
I instantly roll my eyes and shake my head at his vain comment.
"Don't act like you don't agree Rogue" he smiled before turning around and walking back to his desk.
The silenced remained and my boredom grew so once again I began to tap my heel on the desk.
"Am I correct to believe that you are very fond of your foot?.......well if you don't stop tapping it on my desk I'm going to snap it off" he threatened as he kept his head down.
"Ugh" I loudly sigh
"Ergh" I groan even louder as I throw my head back and stare up at the ceiling.
"Rogue" Ivan warns
I smile grew on my face, I was extremely bored and what better way to entertain myself then to aggregate Ivan.
I began to blow raspberries and make clicking sounds with my tongue as I stared up at the ceiling, to annoy ivan.
"Rogue" Ivan's voice warned once again.
"What" I reply through a wicked smile.
For some strange reason I started to rap the lyrics from shaggys song 'Angel'. My attempt at his accent was humerus and pathetic so after a while I began to beatbox the tune.
"You are my angel you're my darling angel... rrr remix.. give it up for Dj Rogue!!! Yo yo yo waass good In the hood...my name is Rogue it rhymes with Vogue, I don't know what else but that doesn't matter because I am amazing...... break it down now-"

"Rogue"
I lifted my head up and looked at Ivan, he didn't look happy at all in fact he looked extremely pissed off.
"I know you're doing it on purpose" he continues as he grips his pen.
"Well I'm sorry that I was born with the rapping skills of Eminem and the musical talent of a billion musicians" i lightly shrugged my shoulders.
Ivan stared blankly at me for a few seconds before continuing with his work.
"Oh my god I'm sooooo bored" I whine once more before finally getting up and walking over to Ivan's side of the desk.
I stood to his left as I stared down at the document he had in front of him. His cologne had managed to weaken my senses and briefly pull me from reality.
After quickly snapping out of it, I unclear my throat before talking.
"What are you doing anyway?" I ask as I place my hand on his shoulder. I can feel him tense up under my touch but he soon relaxes.
"Work" he replies
"Can I have a look?" I question, wanting to see what was so important
"I don't think you'll understand it, I mean if a few buttons on the elevator confused you then I'm certain this will" he replies and I know he's smirking.
"Oh aren't you funny" I snap as he begins to type on the computer.
After staring blankly at the screen for a few minutes I've finally seen something that I understand.
"That's a profit growth chart"
"What gave it away? Was it the bars or the words that clearly state its a profit growth chart" he replies
"Well at least we know if this business crashes and burns you can still be a comedian. And no I remember doing it in school, I don't wanna blow my horn but I did get an A* in computer skills" I reply
"Oh really, an A*....well big shot feel free to give it a go" he replies as he leans back into his chair.
"Fine I will" using my right hand I wave it Ivan's direction signalling for him to move.
Instead he raises his eyebrow in response
"Move" I state
"It's my office" he responds
"Well I need to sit down"
A smile spreads on his face and he looks down at his lap.
"No way that's not happening" I quickly reply
"Why not?" he smirks
"Because.....I-"
"Are you to embarrassed " he cuts in
"No I just don't want to"
"I'm your mate Rogue, something......exciting has to happen soon" he adds
It was obvious why I didn't want to sit on his lap and it was bringing him pleasure teasing me about it.
"I don't want to talk about this" I quickly reply, anticipating Ivan's next question was going to make me feel uncomfortable.
The slight partition in his lips had indicated to me that he was going to speak but my worried stare had me him question otherwise.
To put a end to the conversation I started to work on the chart.
"Do you want me to finish it?" I ask as I quickly type of the key board.
"Oh please be my guest....I'm just enjoying the view" he replies. His voice was quiet so I was unable to make out exactly what he was saying, but instead of asking to repeat himself I just ignored him.
I had finished the first graph and was about to start the second, after a quick stretch and a shake of the legs I continued to finish the rest off.

"Do you squat?" Ivan asked
His question had caught me off guard and shocked me even more.
"No I think it's natural...it must be natural" he continues to say as he stares at my bum.
"Ivan" I blankly say his name and his eyes hesitantly meet mine.
After a few seconds i return back to the graph, all was going well until the ache in my back and the numbness in my legs had became to uncomfortable.
"Just sit down"
"No I'm fine"
"I won't say anything" he adds
Is sitting on Ivan's lap that bad? I thought to myself.... yes i mentally replied. But my legs were hurting and he wasn't going to move, so I didn't really have a choice.
He tapped his leg one time and I finally gave in, i carefully on his lap.
"I feel ridiculous" I add
"We need to get you into a gym" ivan says as he squints his eyes as if he was in pain
My mouth opens wide as I attempt to rise to my feet but Ivan's arm wraps around my waist as he pulls me back down.
"You're mean"
"It was a joke" he defends
"Not funny" I snap back
I finish the graph as quick as possible, I try to stand up but Ivan's grip was to firm.
"Let go Ivan"
"Really...i was only joking"
"Get off" i instruct once more
A loud sigh was heard as Ivan moved his arm, I got up and made my way over to the other side of the desk where I retreated back into the leather chair.
Even though he was still joking I still got offended, Ivan isn't one to say things unless he means them and I can't help but think it wasn't a joke.
To prevent a conversation from happening I picked up one of the office magazines and read it. The next time I was disturbed was when Ivan had finished his work and I was halfway through the magazine.
He placed all the files back into his desk the proceed to walk towards the door.
"Come on"
I closed the magazine and tossed it to the side before getting up and walking out the door. I didn't bother thanking him instead I stood straight in the elevator.
The ride down to the first floor was silent and slow, but we finally made it down. As soon as the doors opened I stepped out and stomped to the car. Not waiting for ivan who was talking to the women at reception.
The car was locked so I ended up standing outside, looking like an idiot until ivan finally came out.
"Get in" Ivan instructed
I followed his command, making sure to click my seat belt into place before crossing my arms over my chest.
"Are you hungry?" He asks as he pulls out of the buildings parking lot.
No reply from me
"Rogue.......do you want to get some food" he repeats
"No food for me I wouldn't want to get any fatter" I reply
He lets out a loud sigh as we pull up to the traffic lights.
"I was clearly joking Rogue, I think it's pretty obvious that you aren't fat"
"Your words not my mine"
"Just a joke" he responded
"You wouldn't of said it if you didn't mean it Ivan"
"Oh my god"
"It doesn't matter, it's not like it's the first time you've said something like that" I state
"What's that's supposed to mean?" He questions
"You always say horrible things about me and for the majority of the time you're mean to me is well"
"Let's be honest for the majority of the time you bring it on yourself" he replies
"Whatever Ivan"
"You do know Im only messing around with you right?, I never really mean it"
This conversation wasn't going anywhere but South so I turn my head to face the window and wait for this ride to be over.
"Rogue.....why do you always ignore me?"
No answer
"God damn it Rogue, answer me" the anger in his voice is getting more clear each time his question goes unanswered.
"If you don't answer me, I'll just read your mind" he states
My head immediately snapped in his direction, his previous words had immediately caught my attention.
"You can read my mind" i ask, still a little taken back from his confession
"That caught your attention, we can talk over lunch"
Before I had time to debate, the car had came to holt and Ivan's tall frame was now exiting the vehicle.
Staying in the car wasn't an option especially after what he had just said.
I quickly get out the car and follow Ivan into the restaurant, it want very busy so we made our way over to the further empty table at the back of the room.
"What do you want to eat?" Ivan calmly asks as he scans the menu
"Are you serious?" I ask
He raises his eyebrows and I roll my eyes, I scan the menu and order the first thing that's catches my eyes.
The waitress hesitantly collects the menus and leaves but not before she has one last look at Ivan. Ha she doesn't stand a chance.
"It's nice in here isn't it" he said as he looks around
"Ivan...stop" I firmly say as I lightly tap on the table
"It's so welcoming-"
"You can read my mind! Why didn't you tell me" I loudly interrupt, getting angry.
"I can sort of read minds, I can hear voices but they aren't clear enough and I don't know where they are coming from" he replies as he sips from his water
"Can you read my mind" i bluntly reply again
"Technically yes"
"Don't" I snap
"I can't control it yet" he defends
"Well learn, I don't want you reading my mind, its bad enough that I'm inferior to you"
"You are not inferior to me Rogue" he replied
"Yes I am, for starters you're a vampire with super powers as well as mind reading abilities and then there's me a weak human" I state
Our food was placed i front of us and it had put a stop to our conversation.
"I can't control any of those things"
"Look I don't want you in my head alright, no matter what happens, you don't read my thoughts. You have to promise me you won't do it"
I stare at ivan and wait for a response
"Your food is going to get cold" he replies
"Please Ivan, I need to know I can trust you, I need your word"i look at him with pleading eyes and he lets out a sigh
"Alright I promise, you have my word"
He holds up his hands and draws a cross over his heart.
"I'm trusting you ivan" I say once again
"I know, I know"
"Is there anything else you need to tell me? Any more secret powers" I ask whilst taking a bite of my food
"No not really the usual, enhanced abilities, super powers.....super looks" he responds
"That's not fair" I reply
"Can't help it"
"Well you know, you could....." I begin to suggest
"Don't even go there Rogue I'm warning you" he sternly replies
"But I'm just saying-"
"Stop before you start, this isn't a conversation we are going to have any time soon" his voice was laced with anger and so was his face
"Alright I'll stop but only if you show me your fangs" I reply
"No" he bites back
"Ergh, you're no fun" I whine
Ivan had pushed his food aside and took out his phone, indicating he wasn't in the mood for anymore conversation
"Let's go" ivan stands up and walks out the door but not before he left the bill alongside a generous tip.
"Uh okay" I reply before quickly getting up and catching up with him.
Once we were both in the car we reversed out of the parking space and drive off down the road.
