Ivan was starting to make his way towards the hair and beauty salon that they had built. We walked in and was greeted by a young women, she had introduced herself as Mackenzie.
"How can I be of service?" She asked
"Just a trim of the top" Ivan replied.
"No problem sir ,I'll just go and get our stylist" she quickly left and shortly returned with a very feminine and flamboyant man.
"Oh helloooo" he greeted Ivan before pouting and biting his lip.
"My names Jamie but here I'm known as Jambo" he confidently added with his hands on his hips.
"This is M-" Mckenzie began to speak but was rudely interrupted by Jambos excitement.
"Now this is what I'm talking about, oh my god my prayers have finally been answered, let me see...let me see" using his pen he twiddled it in the air , signalling me to spin around.
"I'm lost" I admit.
He rolls his eyes and sassily walks towards me, he stands behind me and begins to mess around with my hair. Small mutters of excitement leave his lips as he massages my head.
"Is this natural?" He asks. I furrow my eyebrows at him and for the second time he rolls his eyes.
"The curls in your hair sweetie"
"Yeah"
"I knew it" he quickly walks back to the front.
"Kenzie, I need two hazel hair dyes, my cutting belt and I want her hair shampooed and conditioned before I come back" he spun round and began walking off.
I looked around and everyone had the exact same expression on their face, confusion.
"Wait! What's going on" I called out after him.
He sharply turned around and looked at me.
"I'm going to create a work of art of course, don't worry when I've finished with you, you'll be looking runway ready baby" he quickly stroke a model pose.
"But we're not here f-"
He cut me off before I could continue to speak.
"Calm down, I'm only going to take a couple of inches off and add some highlights....maybe even a fringe" he added
"That's not happening" Ivan bluntly stated.
"It's going to look beautiful"
"It already does"
"It's the new sty-"
"No" Ivan firmly said. He clearly had the last word as the idea had dropped.
"Jambo, Mr Stone is the one who is your client and he only wants a trim of the top" Mackenzie says with a guilty expression.
After a few minutes of awkward a silence he finally spoke up.

"Would you like to follow me then Mr Stone"
Ivan looked frustrated and annoyed, it wouldn't surprise me if Ivan ended up saying something to him. He reluctantly followed him to a cutting station, where Jambo started his hair.
It was then that I realised what Ivan had just said. He had said my hair was beautiful....it wasn't the most spectacular of things but I couldn't fight back the grin that was growing on my face.
After about 5 minutes my excitement and curiosity got the best of me as I got up to walk around the building.
"Where are you going?" Ivan asked
"To look around" I reply.
Before he could reply I left the salon and made my way to the next shop that caught my eye. It was a jewellery shop.
To me jewellery was the most important thing when it came to style or fashion. The few items of jewellery that I wear are all sentimental, a silver necklace with small diamond encrusted flower pendant ,a matching diamond anklet and a thin silver ring. They had all been left for me when my parents had died,so I wear them all the time. I also wear the necklace Rosalie had given me when I visited her a while back.
I walked closer to the display window and my attention was drawn to a beautiful bracelet, it almost like it matched the rest of my jewellery. There was a flower in the centre of the bracelet made by small diamonds to form the flower and a thin line of diamonds either side that wrap around the wrist.
I was about to walk in the shop when I thought it would be a good idea to notify Ivan instead, I turned my back from the shop but collided with someone else.
"sorry" I quickly say before looking up to see Ivan stood there.
"Jesus Christ, how long have you been stood there? ,I didn't even hear you"
"Them maybe she should pay more attention" he replied.
"Well maybe you shouldn't stand behind people and watch them like some kind of psycho killer"
"I'll think about it ....what are you doing?"
"Just looking around , I was gonna come and tell you that I was going to go in there" I say whilst signalling towards the jewellery shop.
"Find anything you like?" He asks
"Not really I just wanted to have a look" I lie.
"Okay, I'm almost done in here so stay here and wait for me to come back" he then left.

As soon as he was out of sight I rushed into the shop. I looked around the entire store but none of the items caught my attention as much as the bracelet in the window. I went straight to the front desk and waited for someone to come out .
"Excuse me....hello?" I called out hoping someone would hear.
"Hello, can I help you?" Out walked a fairly old man, his hair slightly grey and his wrinkles were visible.
"Sorry, but I was walking past your amazing display outside and something caught my eye, it was a bracelet and I was hoping I could try it on"
Before I could describe the bracelet the man left and shortly returned with something in his hand. He extended out his arm and opened up his gloved hand. There it was.
"How did you know what I was talking about" I questioned.
"Because you're not the only person who's come in here requesting to see it ,dear" he admits with a kind smile on his face.
"It's amazing"
"It's also one of a kind , the man behind it made it himself from a rare diamond, he recently passed away and this is had last creation"
"And he only made one of them!" I say in pure shock.
"Indeed....would you like to try it on ?" He asks. Without hesitation I stuck out my left wrist. He carefully secured the bracelet around my wrist.
"I must say it does look rather nice, brings out the sparkle in your eye" he compliments causing me to giggle.
My eyes don't leave the piece of art that was on my wrist, I refrain from touching it not wanting to do any damage.
"How good is your security in this place ?" I question with a huge smile on my face.
"Very good, but it's not them you have to worry about, you won't get passed me without a fight" he laughs whilst clenching his fists.
He takes the bracelet of my wrist and puts it into a box.
"I'm guessing something like that doesn't come cheap" I state
"I'm afraid not...since it gained a lot of interest a biding is being held today when the doors open. Starting price starts at £100,000"
I almost choked in disbelief, the man must of read my expression.
"Rare diamond, one of its kind, deceased designer" he adds
Just as I was about to give up hope I remembered I has my card with me. There was about £400,000 on there , I hadn't touched a single penny ,I told myself I would never use it unless it was for emergencies. I had planned on using it after retirement or giving it to my children/grandchildren.
I really wanted this bracelet, I could always put the money back in I bargained with myself.
"When does the bidding start?"
"Well technically since your hear, I could except the purchase now"
"Okay" I go into my back pocket to get the card, but it's not there. I check my other pockets but it's not there.
"No!" My heart is beating a little faster then normal, I check every possible place it would be but it's not there.
"Is everything ok?"
"My card" I say
Before he could reply I run out the shop in a panic and begin frantically searching for my missing belonging.
I check the salon and the tailor shop but it's not there. I run into the elevator and to the entrance where Ivan was stood.
"Why are you running?" He asks
"Keys ,can I have the keys"
"My car keys? "
"Yes" he looks at me weird before taking out his keys, I quickly snatch them off him and rush out the building to the car. I unlock it and open the door and begin searching the car, it was nowhere to be seen, I checked the seats but it wasn't there.
I get out the car and double check my pockets and bra but it wasn't in there.
I screamed in frustration, I had it in the car on the way here so I was certain I lost it.
I got back in the car and waited for Ivan to come out. He shortly returned to the car going to the trunk to put his stuff away befits joining me in the front of the car. I passed him the keys and slumped back into the chair.
"What's the matter with you?" He asks
"I lost my card" I confess
"Card?"
"You know....a credit card, I lost it "
"How much was on it?"
"About £400,000"
"Shit. Are you sure it's lost"
"Positive" I sigh in defeat and rest my head on my hand.
The conversation died down until later on.
"Do you want to get some food?" He asks
"Sure.....but you're paying"
We pull up to a restaurant, Ivan gets out the car and has my door open in seconds. I thank him and follow him into the restaurant.
