It was getting colder by the minute, looking up to the sky I was certain it was going to rain later on. Since it was just bearable I continued to sit out here alone, not wanting to face Ivan.

I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them, trying to keep warm. I was beginning to get bored so my attention ended up focusing on the mansion.

It really was a beautiful building , there was so many rooms. I could see my room from here, unlike most of the girls I was lucky enough to actually get a window. I continued to examine the mansion until my focus was on Ivan's balcony. If I wasn't mistaken I could see someone stood there watching me. Since it was his balcony which was attached to his room I'm pretty sure it was him.

He was probably making sure I wouldn't runaway.He didn't move from that spot ,to my surprise another figure walked out.I continued to watch them, until the other figure left.

I knocked on the door to Ivan's bedroom.I hadn't spoken to him since the whole incident occurred.

"Come in"

I pushed open the door but Ivan was not in his room so that must mean he was on his balcony.

"What are you doing out here?" I ask. I didn't need him to reply, i followed his gaze and it was focused on someone under the tree.

"Rogue" I say, he just sighed in response.

"I had to convince your mother to let me come and speak to you. After everything that happened earlier, I don't think I've ever seen her that worried"

"Well tell her there's nothing to worry about" he replies

"All we can do Is worry right now, everyone's on edge at the moment,Colt and Ana are a little shaken up. The day we spent so hard to prevent ,the thing we didn't want you to become,has finally came and it's all because of her" I say whilst nodding towards Rogue.

"I don't want a mate. Can't the witches find a spell or something to get rid of it ,of her" I can tell by his tone of voice he's starting to get annoyed and thats something I don't want.I don't know how strong he is so the slightest thing could tick him off.

"There isn't anything anyone can do, trust me Ivan as someone who hated the idea of having a mate just as much as you do I know what it's like, you don't want to have to worry about them or to have to protect them and actually care about someone other then yourself . But I would do anything for your mother, I would give my life in a heart beat just to keep her safe , it's just the way it is"

"But I don't love R-" he begins to say but I quickly cut him off.

"Don't you say it Ivan, you may not feel it now but that girl down there will become the main reason for your existence. She will occupy your mind and control your senses, when Jack tried to hit her why did you stop him?"

"Because I'm in charge and it isn't his place to punish her" he quickly answers

"That's true, but you care about her Ivan and don't lie to me"

He moves position he now rests his elbows on the balcony, I can sense that he is in deep thought.

"I'm very proud of you Ivan just look at what you've accomplished, you've managed to build your own empire. You're a very strong and powerful man, everyone in this mansion fears you because you are what a vampire is supposed to be, brave, heartless, wise, cunning, cold. You're a leader and that's exactly what these people need.But...." I pause my sentence hoping Ivan would realise the point I'm trying to get across.

"But that's not what Rogue needs" he adds

"Look at me son, it's your life and your mistakes, I won't tell you what to do"

"I don't want to hurt her" he honestly replies. Just the way he said i knew he was telling the truth so I had to give him a truthful answer.

"Then don't" I decide to leave the conversation where it is. I place my hand on his shoulder before leaving the room in vampire speed.

The balcony was too far away for me too see who the other person was, It's times like these when I wished I had vampire hearing because my curiosity was rapidly growing.

Ivan was still stood at his balcony, watching me as I take shelter under the large tree. The temperature dropped once again as my body started to shake, the horrible weather was getting harder to ignore.

The blue sky was slowly starting to disappear ,dark clouds began to fill the sky, a few water droplets shortly followed. I still remained here not wanting to go inside, being with Ivan was a million times worse then getting wet and cold.

The heavy ness of the rain gradually started to pick up, a loud grumble filled the atmosphere as well as bright flashes.

I could put up with the rain but thunder and lightening is where I draw the line. I quickly rise to feet, I take one more look up to the balcony where he still stands before sprinting back to the mansion.

I didn't get that wet, I brush of the droplets that remain my hair. I close the door before walking back into the hall, as soon as I get there I stop.

I had a decision to make where do I go, I turn my head to the right which is where my room is then I turn my head to the right and that is where Ivan is.

Right is my past and left is my future, I can hide in my room hoping it was all just a dream and it will all blow over or I could go to Ivan's room and try to make things work.

This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make but I know either way I have to make a decision because no matter how hard I try theres nothing I can do to change what happened.

After listing the pros and the cons I finally make my decision, I turn towards the direction I think is best for me and start walking.

I arrive at my chosen location, a thousand thoughts filling mind. Before I do anything else I take a moment to compose myself and to get ahold of my feelings, going In there with a calm attitude is the only sensible thing I can do right.

I knock the door three times before taking a step back waiting for a response.

It doesn't take long for before I can hear movement of some kind coming from the other side of the door.

The door is pulled open and I immediately greet the person stood In front of me.

"Hi" I Say before forcing out a fake smile.
