《Musical Teacher.》Episode - 32 (finale)

It's the day of my competition, I'm a nervous wreck.

I was backstage, my first time without Chaeyoung. Four months without her made me realise how much I need her.

I regret everything.

I just hope she's happy.

I shook my head, trying not to think about her as I give myself a pep talk in the mirror. The stylist came once I was dressed and I sat down, my makeup getting down as I watched the TV.

"Park Chaeyoung, a few words."

She was walking somewhere, paparazzi and newsagents in her face as she stopped for a second, giving this question an answer.

"Kim Jisoo."

My heart froze. She smiled. That was it. She didn't elaborate on any of that. My heart was pounding out of my chest. My stylist turned, smirking at me as she continued my make-up and hair.

I fiddled with my fingers, the burning in my stomach not stopping. She hasn't talked to me for four months and yet she has the courage to say my name in front of thousands of people?

For fuck sake. I hate her.

I hate that she has the same effect on me that she had before.

How can she do this?

My stomach is full of butterflies.

"Kim Jisoo?" I turned to see the guy. He smiled. "You're up next."

My eomma was going to be in the crowd. I can't disappoint her.

I went up on stage, nerves overloading as I sorted out my dress and bowed. I stumbled my way up to the piano, sitting down and stretching my fingers.

I hate this.

I hate that I feel so nervous.

I settled my hands at the keys, remembering everything she has taught me whilst I started playing my melody. It was a Mozart piece, difficult but something Chaeyoung had been trying to get me to play for a while.

This was 'in honour' to her.

She's famous now, I bet she doesn't want anything to do with me.

The audience clapped as I hit all the notes in my piece. It was fast and difficult, my hands started to ache but I chose to ignore the burning, wanting to keep playing.

Thanks to her, I found love for the piano.

Thanks to her, I found it my passion.

Thanks to her, I could pour my feelings out into my piece.

Thanks to her, I fell in love.

I tiredly walked down the hall, ignoring all the 'congratulations' I got from fans. They tried handing me flowers but I'm frustrated and tired.

I ignored them all, walking down to my room.

My hands ache.

My back aches.

My head aches.

I just want her to massage me like she used to. But she won't. She can't. She doesn't even love me anymore.

"Shit!" I let out a small scream when someone dragged me by my wrist and into the janitor's closet. It was dark and I couldn't make out their face, their hand dropping me tighter.

"Fuck! Who the fuck are you!?" I tried pulling away, earning a low chuckle from them.

"Already forgot me, my love? It's only been four months." The light flickered on and I stood there, eyes widened.

It was Chaeyoung.

She got hotter.

I gulped down the lump in my throat, watching her as she came down close to my ear.

"I loved watching you play, baby."

She was there? She moved away, her hands moving away from my wrist and onto my waist. She pulled me close, moving some of my hair out of my sweaty face.

It was cold sweat.

I didn't know how to react.

I just gulped.

"Too bad you didn't notice me, " She said in a low tone, finger tracing my collar bone that was visible with my shoulder dropped dress. "Who let you dress like this, hm?"

She's changed.

She's hotter.

Where did my innocent Chaengi go?

Did I do this?

Make her hotter?

Because, damn. She can top me if she wants to.

I still didn't say anything, trying to figure out what was going in. The janitor's closet being small and thin doesn't help either. I bet everyone outside can hear us.

"I missed you, "

Those words cut me off.

Finally being able to speak, "Really?" Was the only thing I said. She started kissing my neck, knowing where this is going I moved her away. "Chae... We're not together anymore."

"But you've done it!" She yelled. "You beat your Eomma! She isn't in the picture anymore! You've beaten her so we can live our lives now! I've waited all this time for you to take me back, Chu!"

I stared at her in disbelief.

"You really want me back?" I asked. "I've hurt you so much. Why do you want me back?"

"Because I fucking love you!"

She had enough of me, pinning my arms up and pinning me against the shelf. I groaned with the pain but she didn't care, coming in to kiss my lips. She started harshly, not minding me squirming.

She pulled out, giving me time to breathe before going at it again.

She stopped, panting as she leaned her head against my neck.

"Take me back. Please."

"Mrs Park, how has life been treating you? Married to the Roseanne Park and a famous pianist? You must be enjoying your life. Your love story is something we can all learn from. I hope you're enjoying your time together."

I stared at my wife, she smiled, nodding at me for comfort.

I held her hand, squeezing it for reassurance. She caressed my hand and let me answer.

"I love it. As advice, do what you want to. I got rid of my toxic mother, moved away and have started a family. My baby at home, my two beautiful dogs and my lovely wife. I couldn't have asked for anything better."

"Yes, we had our ups and downs and we wondered whether we were meant to be, but look where we are now. Anyone can achieve their dreams if they just try."

"The time we spent away from each other made us reflect on our actions and help us grow as people. It wasn't all misery, it was filled with memories we made with our friends and memories we have of looking after ourselves."

"Taking a break is good. Taking a break and being able to come back to it stronger, is something greater."

"If I was weak. If I didn't wait for Jisoo, I wouldn't be with her. I knew she was the one for me and I decided to wait."

"If you feel someone or something is right for you, wait for it to be the time it comes for you. Don't push it. Let fate control it."

"Yeah, like fate controlled our relationship."

"From , to lifelong lover."
