"Eomma?" I walked through the living room doors, not seeing her anywhere. Did Jin just lie to get me home?
"In the kitchen!" My appa yelled. I glanced back at Jin. He looked nervous.
What's going on?
"Jisoo-" I turned to Jin. "I'm sorry, okay?"
I furrowed my brows. "Huh?" He shook his head, ushering me to go into the kitchen. I shrugged my shoulders and entered the kitchen.
My dad had a worried look on his face, shaking his head. "Did I do something wrong?"
My appa left, shutting the door behind him. My mother stood there with a stern look, arms crossed. "You and that girl are done."
"What?" I chuckled.
"You're breaking up with her."
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are." Her voice turned loud. "She's ruined you! Date a girl, I don't care. Anyone but that blonde bitch!" I was shocked. Is she really making me break up with her? "Get to your room. You're not leaving this house unless it's for piano and you're not leaving your room unless you break up with her."
"Eomma... You can't do this."
She smirked. "Yes, I can." She stuck out her hand. "Break up with her over text. Nothing hearty, simple. Make her feel shit. You won't see her. You won't leave this house."
I froze, my eyes welling. She can't do this. What kind of mother is she? She put her hand away.
"Get to your room. Now." I can't argue back with her. So I let myself cry whilst stomping up to my room, ignoring my snake brother and hopeless father on the way up.
She followed me up, slamming and shutting my room door before locking it. "Break up with her. No funny business."

I cried, sitting there as I heard her leave. The door was locked. I know she means it.
She won't let me out till I break up with her.
But how can I?
She's my everything.
I decided to see how far she would go. Surely she isn't that harmless. I laid in the bed, covering my face as I cried into the pillow, eventually falling asleep.
The next morning I woke up feeling stuffy. My nose was sore and so were my eyes. I decided to see if the door was locked. I slowly got up, forgetting my pounding headache as I wobbled to the door.
It was still locked.
"I told you. You aren't coming out till I see the bitch come begging at your door." She startled me. "Alright?"
I sighed, knocking on the door with the remaining energy I had left. "Eomma, please... I don't want to. I love her."
"Then learn to love your room." She left angrily. I slumped onto the floor, sighing. I'm hungry. Really hungry.
She didn't even bother to give me food. What kind of mother is she? I sighed, hesitating before taking out my phone.
There were tons of miss calls and messages from her. I didn't realise. I ignored all of them, my heart pounding as I typed something.
And with that, I blocked her number. I let my tears fall out, immediately regretting it as I went to all my other social media, blocking her.
"I'm so sorry, Chae..." I wiped my eyes first before getting up and knocking lightly on the door. "Eomma... Can I come out?"
"Did you do it?"
"Yes, Eomma. Please let me out now.."
"No."
"Why?"
She paused, thinking of a reason. "I'm hanging out with Jin today. You can't come out until I'm back." I dropped back down on my knees. My stomach is killing me.

"You haven't even given me breakfast!"
"Don't raise your voice. Your competition is in a few weeks. Practise." She then walked away. I slammed on the door a few times before giving up and just crying.
She made me break up with her.
When she was my everything.
The only thing keeping me going.
And the only thing I looked forward to waking up to.
"Eomma, " I cried. "Please..."
There was shuffling at the door before it opened. It was my appa. He was quick to bend down and bring me into his arms, rubbing my back as I cried it all out. "Hungry, my baby?" I nodded.
He hugged me as I let it all out, understanding I loved the girl but my Eomma is making it hard for me to be with her. He told me to just love her. I told him what she made me do and he sighed, telling me he couldn't do anything about it.
I just hope there's love for me so I can regain it.
If not, she's happier with someone else. That'll make me happy too.
"I made pancakes. Let's eat before your Eomma gets home, hm?" He pulled out the hug, cupping my face and wiping my tears. He kissed my forehead. "She does love you. A lot. She's just not in the mood."
"She's never in the mood for me, " I said, hiccuping.
"That's not true. She loves you and your brother a lot. She's just never been around to know what you guys like and how you guys want to feel loved, " I went back into his arms.
"I just want her to let me date this girl. What does she have against Chaeyoung anyway?"
"I don't know, honey." He runner my back. "Try and get it together again, okay? She's perfect for you."
"She won't love me after this."
"What if she's downstairs waiting for you?"
