"Is she serious?" Dahyun asked, tapping her foot impatiently as we waited for Chaeyoung in the airport. She said she had somewhere to be and would be here.

Again, she wasn't.

"I'm not missing my fucking flight for her. Jisoo, let's go before we miss it." She held my wrist and dragged me. I looked around for her, but she wasn't in sight. I bit my lip nervously as Dahyun dragged me into the plane.

I sat down next to her, eagerly looking at the passageway, hoping she would show up. I don't know why she keeps doing this. I shook my leg in nervousness and sighed in relief when she was the last person to walk in.

She looked our way, all sweaty and tired. She walked up to us and was about to take a seat next to me when Dahyun made me swap seats, so she sat in the middle. I get it, we were both pissed with her.

"Are you going to let me explain?" She asked Dahyun who completely ignored her and put her earphones in to listen to her audiobook. She looked at me pleadingly, I turned to face the window.

She sighed, resting her head back. "I'll explain at home, okay?" I just nodded, not wanting to give her another answer.

We landed and it was around night in Korea. Dahyun was by my side and didn't let Chaeyoung even remotely close to me. She wanted to talk to me, but I understand Dahyun. It was only when she was leaving that she let her close to me. Dahyun gave me a hug before leaving into her car.

Chaeyoung's mother came to pick us up. I'm guessing she sensed the tension because she made us both sit in the back.

I decided to just stare out the window. I felt someone grab my hand and I turned to face Chaeyoung. I raised my eyebrow at her and she sighed. "I'm sorry for being late again. It won't happen anymore, I promise."

I moved my hand away. "Why were you late? You almost missed the fucking flight." Chaeyoung's mother put the radio on louder so we had some sort of privacy. "What the fuck is going on with you?"

"Baby, listen to me." She cupped my face. "Let's calm down first, please. I was late because I went to buy something, okay?"

"You could've bought it at home or left earlier for it!"

"I'm sorry, honey." I teared up, hugging her. I want to be mad at her. She made me worry, but I can't. I can't ever stay angry at her. It's so hard to. "Why are you upset, hm? Because you thought I was going to miss the flight?" I nodded and she caressed my hair. "I'm here. I didn't miss it, did I?"

"You could have..."

"Well, I didn't." She smiled and pulled out. "I wouldn't. Even if I did, I would've caught the next flight."

I smiled back at her, remembering I had my own surprise for her. "Ahjumma."

"Yes, Chu?" She glanced at me through the rearview mirror.

"Can you go to this address instead?" I handed her a slip and she parked up quickly.

"Are you sure?" I nodded. "Alright." She continued to drive.

We arrived at the house and it was beautiful. I had only seen the pictures my appa sent, but it was amazing. It was well decorated and bigger than the apartment they stayed in. Chaeyoung kissed my forehead and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye."

I was confused. Till I realised she probably thinks this is my house or something. I chuckled, shaking my head. "This is ours."

They both widened their eyes, her mother shaming her head in shock. "No, Chu. I told you, we won't take gifts from you, " My girlfriend said.

I shushed her with my finger. "This isn't something you can say no to. I'd cry if you did." Her mother turned to face me, shaking her head.

"Jisoo this is too much."

"Shush. It isn't. You guys will live here. I have had your stuff moved."

"Jisoo. I said I didn't want gifts."

"Well, I'm going to spoil you." I turned to face her. "You're all mine, Chaeng. I can get you what I want. I want to spoil you so bad. All because you're mine." I couldn't help but notice the blush that crept on her face before she finally sighed.

"This is the last big gift, okay?" I nodded at her. It most likely wasn't the last big gift but oh well. I nodded, excitingly dragging her and her mother out of the car to show the interior design too.

I took out the keys and we all stumbled into the house. Their jaw drops at the beauty. It was filled with warm colours and welcoming pictures. The big picture on the wall was a selfie we all took on the way home from her mother's hospital appointment. There were small pictures of Chaeng and I and Chaeng and her mother next to it.

There were plant pots and a comfy sofa. The kitchen was modernised and the stairs were spiralled. I couldn't help but notice the small smile creeping up to Chaeyoung's face.

She'd be more excited knowing she gets her own room. I couldn't wait to see that so I grabbed her hand and dragged her upstairs. Her mother was still astonished by downstairs.

Her favourite colour is blue, so the room was blue. I didn't mind the colour and had my own room anyways. It was most likely if spend my nights with her but I planned to let her have her space for a few nights.

She smiled even wider, happily jumping onto the bed. "This is all mine?" She happily yelled.

I nodded, sitting next to her. "You can decorate it how you want. Do what you want with it, it's all yours." I was surprised when she pinned me down onto the bed as she kissed my lips.

I smiled against her.

"I love you so much!"

"I love you too." I patted her back and she got up. "You do what you want, okay? I'll show your Eomma her room and I'm going to go to sleep in mine."

"Alright. I love you, " She said again.

"I love you too."

I laid in my bed after showering. I did want to cuddle with my girlfriend but I can hear her happily playing Twice's 'Cheer Up' on the speaker I bought for her. She seems happy in her own space so I won't ruin that.

It wasn't long when silence overtook the walls. It was the middle of the night when I heard the floorboards creaking. My door slightly opened and then shut again. I was confused so I opened one eye to find Chaeyoung standing there, pillow and blanket in hand.

"Are you okay, baby?" I tiredly asked, my voice cracking.

"I don't like it there, " She said, also tired. I hummed, trying to get her to tell me why. "It's too big and lonely."

I had a feeling she'd feel out of place.

"Can I sleep downstairs?" I ruffled my brows.

"Why?"

"I want to sleep on the couch." I shook my head. It's cold downstairs, I don't want her to catch a cold. "Please?" She seems a bit scared. Maybe giving her the biggest room wasn't the best idea. I opened up my arms and patted the space between them.

"Come sleep here." She slowly shuffled along the floor and came to lay in-between my arms. I hugged her tight and kissed her head. "Better?"

She nodded and rested her head on my chest. "Do you not like the bed? Is the room too big?"

"I want to sleep on the couch. I don't like having my own room."

"Baby, the couch isn't comfy. Just sleep here." She sighed and closed her eyes. "Goodnight."

"Night."

I woke up the next day, without Chaeyoung in my arms. I was confused as to why I was hugging a pillow and not her. My phone was a buzzing mess too.

I quickly checked it only to find millions of companies texting me. I groaned, switching it off and getting up. I just need to find Chaeyoung first then I'll worry about these texts.

I checked the time on the clock in the alleyway. It was 8 am. It's not the usual time I would wake up but oh well. I made my way downstairs and slightly chuckled finding her sound asleep on the couch.

I sat beside her, moving some of her hair away. She groaned, tossing her head. "I didn't cheat..." She mumbled. I ruffled my brows.

She didn't cheat?

On what?

On me?

I wanted to hear more but she had fallen back into her slumber. I sighed, I want to know why she's been acting off. I kissed her cheek before getting up.

I'll just wait till they get up before making breakfast. I took the chance to go through the companies sending me texts for my piano skills. Some of them only wanted me because of my mother but there were a few that were promising.

I heard snores, she was really tired. I guess the room didn't fit her. She's just been used to sleeping on the couch.

What a baby.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head, going back to reading some of the texts.

There was one company that caught my attention. This company was offering places for both Chaeyoung and me. They enjoyed her voice and my playing. They want us to be a duo?

That sounds fun.

Maybe I should go with this one. I took a look at the rest but this one was the one my mind kept coming back to. Finally, I sent them a text.

You:

Good morning! I read your text, you seem promising. We would be glad to come to visit and talk.

YG,

The company of people's dreams. One of the big three in the whole entertainment world. Imagine the power you hold running the company.

This sounds fun.
