《Musical Teacher.》Episode - 18

"Suzy, I told you to leave." I groaned hearing that name. Ever since we've been here, this Suzy girl keeps popping up.

I didn't even know Chaeyoung had an ex.

"Chae, we're friends. I'm not trying to hit on you or anything." I rolled my eyes. We were meant to be practising for our upcoming second round of the competition, but this Suzy girl won't leave us alone. "Plus, your girlfriend seems to like me."

I flipped her off when Chaeyoung's back was turned but smiled sweetly at her when she looked at me. I'm not the jealous type, I just can't stand this girl.

"Well, we're practising. Go away." Chaeyoung doesn't seem happy. That isn't good, she won't spoil me with kisses and cuddles when she's moody. When she's like this, it's always work, work, work. "We need to get ready for the competition, Suzy. Please leave."

"Alright. I genuinely just want to be friends, Chae." She does just want to be friends, I can tell by her tone, but she must've done something bad to make Chaeyoung not want to be friends with her. "If your girlfriend doesn't mind, let's talk over dinner tonight."

She turned to me and I shook my head. "I don't mind as long as you don't try and flirt with my girlfriend."

"I won't, Kim." She smiled. She looked back at Chaeyoung. "Pick you up at 6," She said, leaving.

She shut the door, sighing as she sat next to me. "I think she does want to be friends, Chae." She looked at me. She was pissed.

"You didn't have to say yes. I don't want to go to dinner with her."

"But it's a good time for you to befriend her again."

"No. I don't want to be friends with Suzy again." She ran her fingers through her hair. "I left Europe for that reason, because of her." I furrowed my brows.

I never knew she lived in Europe.

"You lived in Europe? Really? I had no clue."

She groaned. "I don't want to have dinner with her. I want to have it here."

I held her shoulders. "It'll be okay, Chae." She whacked my hands off and picked up the papers. Maybe I shouldn't have said yes. She doesn't seem happy about being able to be friends with someone she used to love.

"Let's practise."

It was around five pm and Chaeyoung was refusing to get ready. "Babe, get up. Freshen up and look good."

She shook her head. "I'm not going on this stupid date with Suzy."

"It isn't a date, hon. You're just talking to her." She shook her head. "If anything bad happens or you want to leave just call me."

"Jisoo. I hate Suzy." I didn't know that. Hate seemed like a strong word. I thought it was more like strongly dislike. Even I don't hate her. "She ruined my life when I was here. She made me believe she loved me and just threw me out. I hate her so much, Chu."

I felt bad.

I've pushed her into something she didn't want to do because the person has hurt her.

I sat down beside her, looking down so I could look into her eyes. "Want to talk about it?" She shook her head. "Alright then. We can't cancel now, Chae. That'll be rude. Get ready and have a nice dinner. If you feel uncomfortable or awkward or just don't want to speak to her, you can call me."

"Okay..."

"So are you going to get ready now?" She nodded, hugging me. She buried her face into my neck and I could feel she was upset. Maybe this Susy girl really did play with her feelings. "I'll get you a nice outfit, okay?"

I waved Chaeyoung out from the door, closing after she had gone. Suzy had come a little bit early because of traffic. She said she had a reservation and wanted to be there on time with Chaeyoung.

So I put on my shoes and coat before leaving her room. I was going to go hang out with Lia and Dahyun, just to get to know them a little bit more.

I walked it down, catching the elevator when my legs started to ache because of the stairs. The café was on the first floor and that's where we decided to meet.

I entered the café and the two girls were sat right at the front. I sat with them, putting my bag on the floor. "Hey, guys!"

"Hey, Chu, " They both said, smiling. These guys are honestly nice people. "I ordered you a hot chocolate. Chaeyoung said you don't drink much coffee. Is that okay?"

"Of course." I smiled back. "The competition is soon. I'm going to feel guilty if I win."

"Who says you're going to win?" Lisa says seriously. She then bursts out into laughter. "I got disqualified!"

I looked at her, eyes widened. "Disqualified? What? Why?"

"Some dude was being a pervert. So when I called him out and slapped him, I found out he was a judge of the show." She shrugged her shoulders and giggled "He deserved it, though. I don't really care. If they're perverts, then I don't want to be there."

Wow, perverts?

What dirty dogs.

"So what now? Are you going to be sent back?" Dahyun asked. She got first place in the last competition, I doubt she would risk anything for that. She has a higher chance of winning than everyone.

"Yep. Tonight actually. That's what I wanted to hang out."

"I'm gonna miss you, " I said, pouting. She squeezed my cheeks when our orders came. I took a sip. It was lovely. We all tasted each other's, but I like hot chocolate more than coffee. "This is yum. Europe hot chocolate is now my favourite." We all chuckled.

My phone starting ringing. It was Suzy. I was confused at first but picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Yah! Switch it off." I heard a faint voice say before the line muffled and the call cut. I was confused. That was Chaeyoung's voice.

I stared at my phone blankly for a bit, before deciding to ignore it. "Is everything okay?" I nodded at them and we continued our day.

It was 11 pm. Chaeyoung still wasn't home. I was quite worried, but she texted me saying she was okay and she would be back soon. I decided to ignore the feeling. It was a feeling of worry and guilt.

I took a bath and decided to sleep after. I fell asleep quickly because of the bath. My body was warm and I was relaxed.

I woke up to the bed dipping and cold arms wrapping around me. It was Chaeyoung. It was the middle of the night, did she just get back?

I'll just stay asleep.

"Are you awake?" She let out a sigh of relief when I 'wasn't'. She started kissing the back of my neck, my cheeks and my nose. She's never this clingy and cuddly. Did something happen?

She rested her head on my back, drawing lazy shapes on it. "I'm so sorry. I'm so so so sorry. Forgive me, please." She hugged me tighter.

Forgive her? For what?

"You love me right?" She sounded like she was going to cry. I wanted to turn around and tell her it was all okay and that I forgive whatever mistake she made, but I know she might tell me what that mistake was if I stay asleep. "Please forgive me. You know I only love you, right? Jisoo, I've messed up. Forgive me."

I'm confused.

What happened?

"I love you, baby." She propped herself up onto her arms, moving my hair away from my cheek before kissing it. "I really do. I hope you forgive me." There was a sigh and some silence before the bed dipped again and she left.

I turned and watched her leave the room.

Now I won't be able to go to sleep.

What mistake did she make?
