《Musical Teacher.》Episode - 8

"Where were you?" My mother asked as I took my shows off. I just came home from a lesson, she doesn't know I'm still taking them. My appa does and he promised to keep it a secret. "I asked where you were."

I ignored her, slumping on the couch and turning on the TV. "Can you make me pasta? Thanks."

"You have two hands and you're an adult. Go make it yourself." I scoffed.

"So when it comes to you working I'm an adult? But when it comes to what I want to do I'm suddenly too young and naïve?" She rolled her eyes at me. "What the hell are you? How do you even have the audacity to call yourself a mother?"

"Yah, Jisoo! Watch your mouth."

"No!" I stood up, throwing the remote across the room. That sound caused my dad to run in.

"Now, guys. Jisoo, honey. Calm down." He held my shoulders and rubbed my arms. "Yeobbo. Stop provoking her, okay?"

"Me!? Our daughter doesn't even know basic manners! How could she talk to her mother like that!?"

"Seriously!?" I snapped. My father tried to calm me down but I ignored him. "You have no fucking right to call me your daughter! You never looked after me! I don't want a crappy mother like you to decide what I do!"

"Jisooyah. Take a deep breath, okay?" My father cupped my face and I followed what he said. "There you are, my princess. It's all okay. Calm down."

I smiled at him, nuzzling my face into his hand. "Thank you, appa." He smiled back at me.

"Go to your room, okay? Have a shower and I'll make you some pasta." I smiled at him, glaring at my mother as I left for my room.

I sat on my bed after my shower. I was going to go down to eat when my phone rang.

"Hello?" There was a sad voice on the other line that made my heart break. It was Chaeyoung and she was crying. "What's up?"

"E-eomma. She passed out a-and is back here." My eyes widened. The doctors said she was fine and things like this wouldn't happen. "She isn't waking up, Chu!" I can only imagine the fear she's in.

"Calm down. I'm on my way. Park, listen to me, it's going to be okay. It's all going to be okay. Stay where you are, I'm coming." I heard sniffles from the other line. This makes me want to beat up that doctor that lied and brought her hope up.

I ran downstairs, putting on my shoes and coat before leaving. I ignored my mother's shouts and hurried into my car to get to the hospital.

I rushed inside, apologising to the people I'm pushing as I made my way to the waiting area. I saw her, crying as she tried to wipe her tears.

It broke me.

I don't want to have to see her cry.

After all, I have feelings for her.

I sat on the chair beside her, rubbing her back. She looked up and once she noticed it was me, made her way into my arms. I let her. I wouldn't normally, but she's upset. So I let her cry on my shoulder.

I rubbed her back some more. Everyone was staring at us, but I only care about her right now. "Stop crying. You're ugly."

"S-sorry." She moved away from me, using her sleeve to wipe her face. In fact, even when she is crying, her beauty is still there. "Am I pretty now?"

I smiled at her, cupping her face as I wiped the stains. Her eyes are puffy and sore. Like that other time. She must really love her Eomma. I stared into her eyes for a bit, my hand slowly caressing her face. "You're pretty. I just wanted you to stop crying."

I pulled her back into a hug. She was tensed at first but relaxed into my arms. "What happened?"

"She was angry with my appa and then she just passed out." Her voice started to crack. "Is she going to be okay? I tried waking her up but she wouldn't get up!"

"She'll be fine." I don't know what I did here. I kissed the top of her head. I heard her breath hitch and she moved away from me. "Sorry. I just- I-" She kissed me back, on my cheek.

Gosh, I'm blushing.

I turned away from her, standing up. "I'll go speak to the doctor. Unless you want to?"

She shook her head. "I don't want to know." I gave her a small nod and shoved my hands in my pockets before going to meet the doctor.

She kissed me.

She bloody kissed me.

"Are you here for Mrs Park?" I nodded at the doctor. "Ah. She's okay! Stable. Something must've just stressed her out." I sighed in relief. Chae will be happy to hear that.

"Thank you. Are we allowed in?"

"It's best if you let her rest. Tomorrow would be a better time to come." I nodded, bowing before going back to Chaeyoung.

"What did they say?" She asked, all fidgety.

"She's okay." Her face lightened and she jumped up. I held her shoulders and chuckled. "Yes. But they said it's best to let her rest."

"Aw."

"It's fine. We can see her tomorrow." She nodded at me. "Shall I drop you home?"

"Yes, please."

"Damn, Unnie. You're head over heels for my chipmunk, eh?" I groaned. I don't want to have feelings for her, they're just there.

"Jennieyah. You've got to help me."

"Hm, " She smirked. "Just go for it."

I looked up at her with a 'are you serious' look and she nodded. "Yeah, you might get rejected, but she enjoyed you as a friend. I doubt she would ditch you for liking her."

"How do you know?"

"I used to crush hard on her. She was sexy, good looking, sweet and amazing. I fell for her." My eyes widened. "Yes. Lisa knows." She answered my question without me even asking. "But that's not the point. The point is, we're best friends."

"You told her?"

"Yeah. I confessed in the most romantic way possible. On prom night. I got rejected in front of everybody, but it was worth it." She drank her shot. "Embarrassing though."

I chuckled. "I didn't know you like girls before Lisa. It thought it was Lisa who turned you gay."

She scoffed and shook her head. "Lisa? Please. She's just a numpty that I fell for." I laughed. She's right. Lisa is a numpty. "It was Chae."

I smiled at her. "Thank God Lisa showed up then. We would be fighting."

She shook her head. "Believe me, she would've chosen you. I don't see myself in a relationship with her. I just liked her. But it wasn't a desire for anything more."

"I understand. Mines different."

She looked at me confusedly. "What do you mean, Unnie?"

"I want more."
