《Musical Teacher.》Episode - 6

"I thought I had told you to leave?" I was shocked. I turned around to find Jisoo's mother staring daggers into me. I didn't know she was here.

I turned to Jisoo who just sighed and gave me a small smile. "Eomma. What a surprise?"

"Jisoo. How are you, my dear?"

"I'll cut to the point. She's staying. She isn't going anywhere." Her mother's eyes widened and my heart's pounding. I bet Jisoo can hear it right now.

"I will not have a poor girl in my house!" She yelled, pointing straight at me. I bit the inner parts of my cheek, she's scaring me. I'm going to cry. I'm not sure if Jisoo noticed but she grabbed my hand, squeezing it tightly.

It hurt, but it distracted me from what her mother was saying. "She's a good teacher. You wanted me to learn piano, right? Then shut up and leave us alone." I'm not surprised by the way she talks to her mother.

As she said, she's a total jerk.

"It's okay, Jisoo." I caressed her hand. "I'll leave. You didn't want to learn piano anyways." I gave her a small smile and stood up. I bowed to her mother. "Sorry for the intrusion. I'll be off now."

I left, holding my tears back by lighting my lip. I can't stay off her family doesn't want me there. So much for the money. I wiped my eyes once I put on my shoes and left.

I took a deep breath. "Why are you being such a baby? You didn't get attached to her. You'll find another job." I encouraged myself. I hailed a taxi and left to go to the hospital.

"Ah, Ms Park!" The nurses greeted me. "Your Eomma has been moved to room 3." I nodded at her.

I didn't need to go up the elevator now that she's moved. I knocked on the door and walked in. The doctor was just doing his checkups. I greeted him and sat beside my mother.

"The surgery went good. You'll be able to take her home soon." I furrowed my brows.

I haven't paid for her yet. They shouldn't let her leave. "Did you forget I had to pay?"

"Huh? Someone has already paid on your behalf. Didn't you know?" I was confused. Who paid for me? I don't even have close-

Jennie? I told her not to though. "Oh. Thank you." He bowed and left. I took my phone out and texted her.

It wasn't Jennie? Who else has a nice soul that would want to help me?

A poor girl.

No one would.

I'm grateful is why I'm wondering. I need to pay this person back. I watched my Eomma, she's sleeping. The only thing keeping her alive is some machines and wires.

I feel like crap. I couldn't even afford her bills. What kind of daughter am I? And I got kicked out of my job. It was well paying too.

I sighed. My phone rang and I picked it up. "Hello?"

"Yah, Park! Did I say you could leave!?" It's Jisoo. I smiled. She makes me happy. I love listening to her voice, especially when she's angry at me. It's hot-

-huh? No, it's okay. All friends hype each other up. She is hot, and?

"Sorry, Kim," I said quietly. She lowered her voice and let out a sigh.

"You've quit?"

"Your Eomma doesn't want me there. What can I do?" I chuckled, playing with the end of the blanket.

"Fight? Come on, Park. You literally got me to shut up on our first day of meeting each other. You can't just stop teaching me."

I smiled. "I'll see. Is that why you called? You want me to come back?" If there's one thing I found out about this girl, is that she likes to be babied. Soft tones and childish stuff makes her happy. She may seem like a bitch, but she's really a big ol' softie.

"Yeah. You're my friend now, " She said.

"I know, chu. What are you doing?" I'm trying to change the subject here.

"Laying on my bed. I want you to come or we should hang out."

"I'm a bit busy."

"That's okay! I'll just come wherever you are."

"Chu. I'm at the hospital."

"Oh." I could see her smiling. "And? Visiting your Eomma?"

Wait- "How do you know?"

"I have my ways, Park." Did she? No. She couldn't have. She didn't pay for me, did she? "I'm coming over, okay? Wait for me! I'll bring food!" She ended the call before I could say anything.

She really does put a smile on my face. I hope only the best for her and her piano career. She'll make it big. I know she will.

Around twenty minutes later she arrived. "Hey, " She smiled and sat on the couch. I got up and sat beside her. I'm hungry.

She opened up the takeaway bag and put it in front of me, opening and handing me a drink along with the side dips and chips. "You hungry?" I nodded, stuffing my face.

She laughed. She turned to my Eomma and a frown appeared on her face. I'm not used to seeing her frown. "Is she okay?"

"Doing better."

She nodded, eating something herself. "I'm sorry. If you need anything just ask?"

"No. It's all good." I turned to her and smiled. She chuckled, her thumb coming closer to my mouth. She wiped my lip.

"You had some sauce on there." My face flushed up when she licked it off her thumb, finding it nice and dipping the chips in the sauce after. She just-

She made my heart flutter.

"You're coming back tomorrow, " She said, turning to me and smiling. "You don't get a say in this. You're coming back and I will drag you back if I have to."

"What about your Eomma? She scares me." I put my food down and wiped my hands.

"She isn't going to scare you. I'm there. If she tried anything, I'll show her." She grabbed my hand, making me turn towards her. A small smile formed on her lips. "You're going to teach me piano."

"I thought you didn't want to?" I played with her fingers. She didn't mind at all.

"I have one goal in mind now."

"What is that?" I looked back up at her and a smirk formed on her face.

"To be the next biggest pianist. To beat my Eomma."
