"Meet your new piano tutor, Park Chaeyoung."

I stood there, eyes widened. One, I had just woken up to the screeching of my appa hurrying to get the house cleaned. Two, this is a young girl. She looks younger than me.

How can she teach piano?

She was tall, skinny and blonde. Kind of like Lisa, but minus the blonde bit. She had puffy cheeks and her eyes crescented when she smiled.

I gave her a half-hearted smile back, bowing slightly. "Kim Jisoo."

She bowed, "Park Chaeyoung, or Rosé. Call me whatever fits your preference, " She's polite. Okay, I thought she'd be like me, but I guess she has manners.

I nodded and glanced at my appa. He sensed the awkwardness and clasped his hands together. "Okay, kids! Jisoo, today you'll show Ms Park around the house and get her used to the space you'll be using. Sound alright, hon?"

No. Why do I have to? She's only sitting in my bloody room. It's not like she's going to be travelling around the house.

"Yeah, " I said. My father smiled before rushing to the cupboard to get Ms Park a pair of slippers. Once he did, she took off her shoes and followed me.

"Kitchen." I pointed to the kitchen. "Living room." I pointed to that too. "Bathroom number one." I pointed to the door in the corner. "Piano number one. We won't be using this one." I pointed to the old piano in the middle. That's my mothers, we chatted yesterday and she bought me my own.

I kind of argued with her. I told her I wasn't going to use her shitty piano.

She hasn't said a word. So I glanced back. She's just taking in the surroundings. She has a nice side profile.

She caught me staring and I shot my head back. My face reddening, that's embarrassing. "Uhm. Upstairs."

She followed me up the stairs and I went back to showing her the rooms up here. It came to the last one, "My bedroom."

We entered it and the piano we would be using was there. It was in the middle. It looks nice, but I'm not actually planning on learning piano.

I shut the door and locked it, causing her to get scared.

"Listen here, Park. Let's make a deal. We chill in this room for however long a day, you get paid, and I don't have to learn shitty piano."

She furrowed her brows. "And why would I do that?"

"Because you're getting paid? You don't have to do anything. Isn't that everyone's dream? You just sit there, doing whatever the frick you want and get money in your bank!" She wasn't buying that. So, polite and strict with her rules. This is one stubborn girl.

"Kim Jisoo, right?" She came closer to me. "I'm not going to be one of those people to just obey you." I'm confused. "Like those babysitters you had? They all just followed your way."

I smirked at the memory that was momentarily brought back. When I used to get babysat, I would throw a tantrum and threaten them to the point they let me eat and do what I wanted.

"I'm here to teach you, which makes me your teacher. It should be the other way round, you obey me." I gritted my teeth. She's testing me right now. Once she was done with serious talk, she smiled and patted my head.

I-

What the heck.

She took off her bag and fished a notebook and pen out. "Sit." She pointed to the piano's seat.

"No. I told you I'm not doing this."

"You're going to make this harder than it already is. Sit." She used a stern tone. Damn, that's scary. But I'm Kim Jisoo, she doesn't have anything over me. "You're going to disobey me?" She looked at me and sighed. "Alright. One demerit. Now I stay twice as long." My eyes widened.

She smirked. "Still not going to sit down?" Her pen lightly tapped the seat as she was still squatted on the floor. I groaned, dragging my feet as I went to sit at the piano.

"Sort your posture out. There's a way to sit specifically for a piano, "

"Ugh. Really?" Her hand hit my back and forced it up. She lightly pulled my chair out and made sure my feet were flat on the ground.

"Good, " She said, writing something down. I slumped back down. My back hurts already. "I didn't say you could go back."

I groaned. "Sit up." I didn't follow what she said. "We'll keep doing this till you get it right. Up." Okay. Ms Park is officially the one I hate the most.

I sat up, cursing her in mumbles. "What was that, Kim?"

"Nothing." I rolled my eyes. My father came in, smiling. I glanced back at him and he bowed.

"Sorry for the disturbance, kids. I brought snacks." The word snacks, lightening Ms Park's mood. She happily clapped and a big smile formed on her face.

So I'm guessing she likes food.

Nice.

I smirked. "No thanks, appa. We're not hungry." The smile on her face dropped. She looked at me and there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. Damn, she's cute.

But cuteness won't stop me. Two can play at this game, Park. "Yeah. We're not hungry. We have to get back to the piano, appa. We'll eat later." She's a guest at my house, I'm not going to starve her.

"That's fine, hon. I'll leave them here so I won't disturb you again, " Park's smile returned. She stuck her tongue out at me and I scoffed. She's like a five-year-old. He left the snacks there and left.

Park, being Park, quickly went and grabbed the plate. She came back, sat on the floor and started to eat. Okay, she is cute with her cheeks filled up. "Get back to your posture."

I scoffed again. "Seriously? I'm hungry too."

"Two demerits. I stay here for twice as long and you don't get any snacks." I whined. She smiled at me with the sweetest, innocent-looking face. What a two-faced bitch. "Get back."

I turned back around, sitting up straight. "Feet." I put my feet flat on the floor. "Good. Here." I turned around and she handed me an apple slice.

I took it and ate it. "When are you going to teach me about the notes and shit."

"Language." She warned. "Later. It matters if you want to be obedient or not."

I rolled my eyes. This is going to take longer than needed. "Jisoo, right?" I turned back. "Well. We kind of started badly. Mind if we restart?"

"Yeah. I do mind." She just chuckled. I thought that would piss her off.

She's a calm person.

I wonder what it takes to break her patience.

"Park Chaeyoung, " She handed her hand to me.

"Kim Jisoo." I shook it.

"Nice to meet you. I hope we can become friends."
