《Turpin x reader》Chapter 7

You collapsed into the doorway of the Judge's house. None was behind you now but you still knocked and knocked until Beadle opened the door. William stood behind him and as soon as he saw you he swept down to pick you up. "(y/n)?" he asked. "(y/n), what is wrong?"
"There was a person chasing me" you mumbled, you were shivering, crying and shit scared.
"Beadle lock the door" Turpin demanded and pulled you into the sitting room.
"Would you like some tea?" he asked. You nodded and he ordered the maid to get some. Turpin knelt down next to you. "We will find these men" Turpin said. "Find them and bring them to justice"
"Thank you" you mumbled.
"It is my pleasure (y/n)" Wiliam mumbled. He brought a blanket from a little cupboard and placed it over you. "You may stay here until it is safe"
"Thank you William" you mumbled, shivering against the blanket.
"It is my pleasure" he put his hand on your head and smiled. "You are safe here"
You soon fell asleep, wrapped in the blanket. Turpin watched you from his seat and smiled. You were back where he could look after you, where he could keep you safe. He wished you to be his and his alone. As he was watching you he heard bare feet. Johanna walked into the room and was surprised at the woman laying on the couch.
"Joanna meet (y/n)" he said, crossing his legs and hiding his bulge.
"Is she okay?" she asked concerned
"Yes, dear Joanna. She is just sleeping" he said adoringly. "Now its time for you to sleep" he said. "It is late"
Joanna nodded and walked out again. William's eyes flitted to you and smiled. You looked adorable laying on his couch. You looked so pure and heavenly. Slowly he got up and slid his fingers across your sleeping body. You moved in your sleep and he withdrew his hands, instead looking at his books. He picked one out and smirked. Going through the pages he found a certain page and stared at it for a second before sliding it back into the shelf and gliding back out of the room.

You woke to a bright morning. You looked around confused and you remembered last night. you shivered and pulled the blanket around you further. You heard a step outside the room and shut your eyes. The judge walked into the room and kelt down to cup your face. "Wakey Wakey" he murmured.
Your eyes fluttered open to look into the Judge's beautiful brown ones. "Good morning precious one" he said.
"Good morning William" you mumbled.
"are you feeling safe?" he asked.
"Yes" you said.
"I am glad" he cooed. "My ward has some dresses which you can wear"
"You didn't tell me you had a ward" you said.
"Did I not? Oh how foolish of me" he said. "her name is Johanna. She is 15"
"Would her clothes not fit me?" you asked.
"She is tall for her age" he said. "Come. I will show you" Turpin held his hand out and you took it. He walked you up to a bedroom. Turpin nocked and the girl named Joanna opened it.
"Dear Joanna" Turpin said. "Do you have a dress which you would mind giving to (y/n)?"
Joanna stood from her desk and thought. She went into her cupboard and pulled out a long dress. "Would this do?" she asked.
Turpin took it from her and put it up to you. "That's perfect" he said.
"Thank you Johanna" you said smiling. She smiled back and Turpin, with one hand on your shoulder, guided you toward another room. "See if it fits" he said and closed the door. He immediately put his eye to the wall where he had a view of you. He watched you as you gently tugged your dress off, your hair falling in your shoulders. You sighed and sat on the bed, you felt worried. It didn't feel right flouting William's patience. He must be so mad. You brought the dress up and got in it slowly. It was a little small in the bust but apart from that, it was perfect. You headed towards the door as William quickly went downstairs and sat on the sofa and taking a paper from the coffee table.

You came in and sat down on the other seat, careful to not damage the dress. "You look divine" William said smiling.
"Thank you" you said smiling.
"However it does seem to be a little small" he murmured. you went red and nodded. "I know".
"Why don't I sent beadle to your house, check the damage, replace locks and pick up your clothes"
"And fix the door he broken window" you said. "They came in through the window and I broke the window trying to get out.
"I will make sure the house is completely safe" he said. "I will make sure of it"
"You are so kind" you said. "You are so kind to me, aren't I a burden?"
"A burden?" he inquired
"Well you are helping me and caring for me and saving me from things. Aren't I a burden to you?"
The judge got up and slid next to you in the sofa, taking your hands in his." You are never a burden to me" he said. "Look up at me" he ordered. One hand went to your chin and you looked into his dark eyes. Slowly and delicately he kissed your neck. You shuddered against him and he smiled. He kissed you once again on your collar. "You see my dear, that is why you will never be a burden. For I love you so"
"You cannot," you said in shock.
He looked at you confused. "Why not?" he asked
"I don't know" you looked down.
"Do you accept me?" he asked. His voice was dangerously low but you did not notice.
"You are so kind" you murmured. "And handsome" you looked up "It is overwhelming for a woman such as me"
"You are no ordinary woman" he whispered. "I will leave you time to answer" he got up and left the room, his fingers stroking your hands as he stood.
What were you to do? He seemed to be in love you, maybe too in love, obsessed. You shook your head and you went to the window, looking out. You watched life go on around you. What where are you going to do?

But Emiluna is not a normal girl and her destiny far bigger than she could have ever imagined.Join her as she finds out what awaits just behind the horizon.[Word from the author]I am looking to create a fantasy world that has some logic to it and stays believable even as characters gain power and progress in levels.Classes and level quantify the people's progress, but they do not artificially inflate their power to demi-god levels. I am primarily trying to write a captivating story, not "power-porn". That means it will be slower than the fast burning litRPG you might be used to, but it won't burn out that quickly either and I won't drop half of my plots at the wayside. I should mention that English is not my native language. I hope it is mostly unnoticeable, but sometimes I manage to slip some awkard sentence structure in there (German sometimes puts things together in reverse). It it also my first time writing an actual fantasy novel and the first time writing anything at length in English. Any constructive feedback is very welcome.Credit where credit is due: Cover picture by Paul Bica (Licensed under CC 2.0)Check out his amazing photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dexxusYes, my cover picture is a photo, not a drawing. :D I might try my hand at some Paint-ification later to add the title.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com. This piece of work, after all, is only a first draft and by no means an end product by an amateur (beginner) writer. Mistakes are bound to happen. With that said, I will strive to improve as I write. Feel free to point out errors and inconsistencies as you read. I thank you for your time. Finally, I pledge to not rewrite this novel until the first draft is completed.
