Casidy's POV
I needed that weekend so badly. His hand held mine and our fingers intertwined.
'Oh! This felt good!'
Cruising the highway, with a man who cares for me, actually can declare feelings and wants to be with me. Its been almost a year since I've had this and boy, was I missing out!
I managed to land a big client this morning and before that, from friday I've been relaxing at the Pegasus Hotel.
I wasn't expected to return till later this afternoon but it turns out the client already knew of my reputation and was very eager in signing off. So, within half an hour I was finished and heading out the door. Spencer had asked me to spend the remainder of the day with him, but I declined and decided to head in early to spend the day with Charity. Even though it was a Monday, there was no way I was gonna go in office after such a long journey. So he offered to drive me home instead.
Spencer and I met each other back in University. We dated for almost a year and had to come to a mutual agreement to stop, after he got a job offer in England. He's been back in Jamaica for 3 months now and we sort of rekindled a few weeks now, well 4 weeks to be exact.
We drove up to my scheme and the security got out of his post and made his way over..
"Good morning Val!" He scanned inside the vehicle, normal security procedures, and answered with his eyes resting on our interlocked hands.
'Fucka fast!'
"Morning Miss Brown, " He smiled and signal to the other security officer in office to grant us passage. I directed him to my lot and he pulled up to the gate.

'Aaaahhh, home sweet home'
"Miss Brown," he said.
"Mr. Wyndam," I smiled. "I believe this is goodbye. Thanks for a lovely weekend, I needed it!" I said blushing.
"You're welcome" he replied scratching his head. I fail to understand how he could be nervous when we were no stranger to each other.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked.
"You know you dont have to ask that everytime you want to right?"
"I just want to know that I'm doing something consentual at all times," his stare scanning me from head to toe. "But you still haven't answered. May I?"
"Yes you may." And he leaned over planting a kiss deep kiss on my lips.
After, retrieving my bags, I opened the gate and made my entry.
You could've sworn there was an oldies party keeping here due to the loud booming of 80s dancehall music and Miss Paulette with her famous slow rock. Dropping my bags to the floor I joined her imitating her rock to 'The great Beres Hammond's Red light'.
"Cho mi baby! A so yuh gwaan a di party, mash up di place!" She laughed as she used the remote to turn down the music.
"Who me? No sa pure stand up and watch sa!" I lied staring up at the ceiling.
"Mmmmhmmn, yuh gwaan!" She grinned. "So How yuh come back so early, suppose Mr. Mention did over here wid mi?"
I was not about to entertain her argument about whatever she was doing with Mr. Clifford. 'Hell no!'
"Weh mi baby deh?" I changed the topic.
"Oh, mi get the day off Missis!" She turned and headed to the kitchen. "Reign come fi har masa and seh him waan spend some time with her!" She proceeded humming a tune.

Knowing my mother a little too well, I knew that something was up. She never made eye contact and she walked off mid conversation which was strange. I just shook my head and chuckled to myself.
'Tek mi fi eediat, Yuh up to supm Paulette!' My inner Goddess remarked.
The 'C' in my name was for curiosity so I headed straight to my car and started the engine and allowed the car to air out. I went inside for a bottle of water and made my way to Reign's.
Parking out front, I walked right in.
"Hey mama!"
"Good morning Miss Casidy, they aren't here!" Miss Carolyn shouted from the kitchen.
"Good morning Miss Carolyn, How are you?" I forgot today was cleaning day and so Reign would've been out, allowing her to do her work.
"Good eno mi child, cyaan complain, mi have life, good health and strength, plus mi able fi work. Wa more mi can ask fa?God is good.." she gestured to me.
"All the time!"
"Amen indeed... in...deed!"
It was now 12:15pm and she would've left by 1pm so I just decided to wait. Reign would be back soon to pay her anyways.
I grabbed a granola bar from the cupboard and some milk from the fridge.
'Watch you a nyam out the man food and yuh no chat to him fi a whole month!' my subconsciousnes rolled her eyes.
'Just as how him always a raid mi pot a my yard, him lucky!'
I decided to lounge on the 3rd floor's back porch. I munched on the snack and leaned back admiring the view. It was breath taking! The cool breeze surrounded me and in no time I was out!
"Casidy!" The sound muffled, gradually becoming audible. "Casidy! C!" He called.
Glancing out I realised it had started raining. Reign was hovering me laughing.
'Joke deh pon mi?'
"Come in man and mine yuh ketch cold!" He laughed heading back in. I rose up and straightened my self, then followed him.
He stopped midway and I almost stumbled right into him. He grabbed me in place and held his laughter. 'What a fuck bwoii purpose!'
"How was your weekend at the Pegasus?"
'How the fuck him know that? Not even Mummy no know, so how him know?'
"None of your concern Sir, now please let me go." I said quite calm. I was impressed with myself.
"Where's Charity?" I asked. His hands lost grip and he turned and gestured for me to follow him. I did exactly so and he took me to a room beside his master's where inside laid charity so peacefully asleep. He pulled the door halfway up and I attempt to go downstairs.
'I can't stand his ass!'
'What a gyal lie!'
Upon reaching the entrance of his room he quickly grabbed me in and locked the door behind him.
"Hey mi no inna it wid yuh today eno Reign!" I declared. I really couldn't bother at all. "Move! Mi tired and need fi get Charity and go home."
"Yuh no must tired after yuh deh a hotel wid man a fuck wol weekend?" He blazed.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
