"No bredda, yuh naa wear that backa mi" I couldn't help but laugh at that hideous multicolored Rumper she had on. "Yuh fava di man dem wah walk pon di stick dem... wa yuh call dem again...??? Da pants supm deh no ready at all"
"I really and truly can't stand a bone in you!" She was now getting emotional. Thats the only time C spoke Standard English to me.
Scratching my head, "Thats why mi tell yuh fi get waan ooman friend fi dem ting ya eno , cause see mi a talk di chute and yuh a get up inna yuh feelings ya now. Just chill no C!"
"Mi naa get inna no feelings!" She laughed trying to play it off. "Alright mi go try two more and yuh see."
I raised my brow and she threw the hanger at me.
"Mine yuh mash up di pretty face eno!" She rolled her eyes . "Yuh no hear wa di girls at kallege used to call me?" I recited a line from a play she had me watch with her last friday night. 'Waan one wid Oliver Samuels inna it.'
"Baby face" she outburst. And went to try another suit.
She returned tugging on the bottom of a dress.
"Dissa one ya a fi breeding woman wa naa go bend" I remarked.
"Alright... alright!" She held her hand up and went back to change.
'Swear mi cyaan do this!' I signalled the clerk to come over.
"Strongaz help har choose deh!" I squeezed her a thousand Jamaican Dollars. She instantly tucked it away in her bossom, bit her lips and flashed me a teethy grin. I didn't fall for the bait, I just nodded and went to wait by the cashier.
After 5 mins of standing and replying to my overcrowded inbox, I noticed the security was eyeing me as if I was up to something. I ignored it, but then saw how serious it is as the cashier and store manager was staring nervously towards my direction. 'A wa di fuck dem feel like? Mi look like theif?'

"Cassidy betta hurry up and get wa she a get so mi can lif up outta ya eno!" I said a little too loud causing the suspicions to deepen. "Cause mi no waan affi get dark in ya !"
"Yuh too dark and fool fool man. Mi get the supm perfect!" She said on queue, ignorant to the situation ahead.
I Held my stare on the security, who looked as if he would have pissed his pants anytime soon, and took my wallet from my pocket. "Pay fi dem and come on!" My tone alone warned Casidy not to decline or test me.
She went over to the check the items out only to be told the card machine was down.
"Like unu tek man fi Bomboclaat fool!" I said taking out my wallet to retrieve the cash. "No the machine di people dem wa just cash use?"
"Yes Sir but.." I wasn't in for the explanation.
"A uh much?"
"$24,6999 Jmd"
I chucked five, five thousand dollar bills on the counter and went instantly through the door. Casidy retrieved her bag and ran in pursuit , still unaware of what just happened. We kept silent until I drove off.
"Wendy's or Kfc ?"
"What the fuck was that Reign?"
"Yuh no see the people dem a eye mi like mi thief? Di security bwoy no stop pree mi out till all manager dem call a front and shit!" I hissed my teeth. "Thats why mi no shop a dem fucking boujie store deh cause dem a gwaan like man naave dem money. Wa mek yuh think dem seh di machine down?"
'Never judge a book by its cover,' a very powerful phrase. It seemed throughout their education and boujie living, they never heard the saying. Too often people look down on another because they don't dress a certain way, act a certain way or may not speak a certain way. Its sickening! I mean , 'Out of many, one people.'

"Mi know if dem check all a mi bank account dem, dem woulda waan bow down a man fucking foot dem!" I added. "Thats why people dead !"
Casidy's eyes widen instantly.
"Cause any how mi a did some trigger happy fool fool man, all a dem dead pon the spot or even afta!" She sighed a breath of relief.
Casidy's POV
I've never seen him so angry before and he surely had a damn good reason to be. I saw the looks the people around us gave when they heard him commenting on my outfits, but we ignored it and laughed. The store clerk was so sweet and jovial, I'm surprised she works with a bunch of stuck up bitches. But then again, with the current employment situation, you don't get the option to pick choose and refuse work. You can only grab and try secure a permanent spot, which is never promised.
"I've been shopping at that particular store for over a year now, so why would they even think to react like that? Surely they had no reason to?"
"Casidy done offa dat cause yuh a gwaan like yuh dumb to certain things!" He hissed.
"Yuh know wa, mek mi shut up!" I rolled my eyes. He was now getting upset with me for whatsoever reason, I don't know. So instead of carrying on and saying something we both might regret, I decided to ignore him.
"KFC," I answered his previous question.
We arrived at my place roughly minutes after 9. I went to was up and change while reign joined Mummy in the living room. After running through my nightly routine and slipping into my nightwear, I went to join them. Mummy already retired to her room and Reign was fast asleep in the sofa with the tv running. I went for a pillow and a blanket for him to use. Cranked the AC up because I knew how he liked to sleep in the cold and made my way to bed.
"C!" His voice called and I rose up to see him standing over me.
"Hmmmmn... a wa time now?" I asked wondering why he woke me so early.
"After 2 , but mi just a mek yuh know mi ago drive yuh car go up and then come back a morning" he said.
"No, yuh mad! Its too late fi drive home, and up inna retreat bush. No way!" I said, alarmed at what he said.
"Casidy bill nuh, look how much time mi do that and nutten no happen? Plus mi can handle mi self! Yuh done know that already!" All valid points but This time I just didn't want him to leave.
"Plus mi tired and mi waan go home go stretch out inna mi bed and roll" he chuckled.
I knew what I was about to say would be risky, but I said it anyways.
"Come sleep pon my bed! Seet yuh tired, yuh cyaan drive go no weh!"
"Casidy, less than 5 minutes and me reach home..." his eyes widened and he exhaled heavily. "Ano far eno!"
"Mi nuh care, is either yuh stay or mi go wake up Paulette!" Knowing he had no choice i smiled.
"Yuh clothes dem inna the bottom draw!" I signalled then turned my back to rejoin my subconsciousness in her kingdom.
The moment he joined me on the bed I knew. I didn't have to even feel him to know, besides this giant king bed had enough space to host tossing and turning without even having to touch each other.
Its as if the air stood still and my heart echoed in my chest. My body wash smelt so damn good on him.
'A how mi go mek it out till a mawning though lawd!'

Debut: the day every young gentleperson of age gathers to receive their Spirit Blessing and shift for the first time into their second form. Except for those who don't. Beatrice's worst fear is to be one of the unlucky few trapped perpetually in a human body, cut off from the magic of the spirits and unfit for any respectable pack or pride. But when the time comes to face her fear, the outcome is one she never could have imagined. Be warned, this story is some highly experimental fluff—an unapologetically girly, unrelentingly bisexual, Regency/Victorian-ish fantasy mish-mash. It does have a dark side, though, so don’t come in expecting all sunshine and roses. Worthy of note, given the reputation of shifter stories: there will be no explicit sex in this tale. There will, however, be lots of polyamorous romance, necromancy, portal magic, capricious spirits, elemental mages, an unconventional take on shifters and a highly ordered society built around their existence.

Felix, an elite soldier, died in combat. He was one of the millions of people murdered every day by an unstoppable foe, who pushed mankind on the brink of extinction. His consciousness was stored in a secret bunker, but, by mistake, the transfer into a new body took five hundred years more than expected. Sadly, the only one available was of a short and weak teenager who died many years before. Many things changed in the meantime: magic, dragons, and other creatures that were once thought to be of fantasy are now common, and a new system rules on everyone and everything, allowing a person to enhance his body past human limits. He'll start again from scratch, trying to master it, but his time isn't infinite: mankind's worst enemy is yet to be defeated, and it's getting ready to finish the job once and for all.
