Reign's POV
"C dis look like yuh affi go a doctor a swear! Come mek mi carry yuh a the hospital"
Her toe was battered and swollen and even though she insisted it would be ok, I preferred to take her to a professional.
" Relax nuh! Mi seh it ok!" she said with a glossy eye. "Wen mi go up, mummy w...."
" Yuh stubborn yuh FUCK!" I knew this was the only way I could get her to co-operate. She is so used to getting her own way that a little roughing up was the only way I could get through to her. "Now is either mi go lift yuh up go put yuh inna the car or if yuh can manage, yuh come in deh yuh self. But either way mi done chat!"
I left the room quickly, giving her no chance to answer. I quickly pulled on a white merino and a black joggers, then grabbed a white Tee and a black pullover for cassidy 'cause she cyaan wear dat alone wid dem nipple deh print out so!'
Heading downstairs I realized she wasn't in the kitchen. 'She try no test mi inna the mawning ya eno cause...' I thought while scanning for her. She was hoping towards the front door. Handing her the items from my hand, I grabbed my keys from the entertainment center and assisted her out the door and into the Jeep.
The sun was really bright for minutes after 8 am. It was unusual for me to be up this early because I was more of a night person. I had no real reason to. Unless I had to show face in office which was rare. I've been paying my manager damn good money to handle things. The bar, I basically could get things done in the afternoon and evenings.

My belly growled to the absence of food. 'Jah know wi no eat nutten yet!'
"Gimmie a few deh C," I turned and made my way back to the kitchen and took out two fruit plates from the kitchen and two bottles of water. I then remembered that I had some granola bars in the cupboard and grabbed two. 'Aii this must can do the deed!'
"Munch pon this till mi buy breakfast fi yuh or wi come back come eat" she took them without hesitation and immediately started at the fruit plate. I chuckled as I started the engine and drove out.
'If a one thing C no argue bout eno, an a food!'
Two hours had passed, I left Casidy at the hospital to go get breakfast and came back only to see that she was no where ready to even get registered. Looking at the time I decided to drive to Wakefield to Dr. Fin.
Its a real good thing that I drove the Rover, 'Cause wa Bloodclaat mi woulda cuss nuh stop ya so!'. There was more potholes on the road than light posts that ran on either sides. The jeep seemed to sail smoothly through them and within 20 minutes we were there.
She got through instantly and he banned her foot and prescribed pain meds for her to take and we left for home. Luckily we didn't have to wait another day to get them, as he had them. So I sorted it out instantly.
She was now talking to Mama P on the phone. She had a bad habit of putting people on speaker phone, So I knew certain things I couldnt mention on the phone to her.
" Lawd Miss'is! Den Charity no must alright ma'am! " Mama P blurted out. " A mi yuh lef har wid eno! Yuh try go worry bout yuh self! Just mek mi know if mi fi lef dinner fi unu."

"But mummy yuh no easy! Yuh no must affi lef mi dinner miss!" Casidy laughed with sarcasm. Even if she ate elsewhere, she was always gonna go home and eat Mama P's dinner. Then again, who wouldn't?
'Mama P good good dinna! No bredda, cyaan pass that up!' I thought to myself.
"And tell da bwoy deh fi carry back mi forty-level-tine dish dem come gimi or him naa get not even a rice grain tideh!" Mama P added sternly before abrupting the call.
"Jah know Mama P nuh easy eno! " we laughed. The laughter was followed by an awkward silence. Casidy was lost in her thoughts and I just knew what she was thinking about.
'Jah jah, mi cyaan badda wid di bag a complication ya now eno! A swear!' I was now angry with myself. 'Mi an C have a good likkle thing a gwaan and now mi fuck it up!'
Casidy was the only female in my friends' circle. Within the short time I've known her, I could call her anytime for any given reason. She was trust worthy and she opened up to me. I respected her boundaries and I know the amount of hurt she's been through. Plus, I really enjoyed taking on the road with her. To think it would be awkward to 'par' with a girl, C was real kool and she carried a little positive vibe anywhere she went. And God knows I needed that energy around.
'How wi go remain friends after this? Mi cyaan commit to nutten right now, mi no deh pon that! My life too complicated fi dat. A nuff things Casidy no know and mi want it fi remain that way.'
Every now and again I glanced over to her. 'Mi no waan break har likkle heart but mi affi mek she know it cyaan go down da way deh. She nuh ready fi my life style. Casidy deserve a man wa a the total oposite a mi.'
I played every possible scenario in my head of how to break it to her lightly without caos, but all seemed to end the same way. I would wind up losing her altogether and she would hate me.
'Fuck! This is nuh safe at all.' My brain hurt. Without even realizing I sighed and shook my head.
"Wapm to yuh?" She asked.
'Shit'
"Ntn, just a likkle headache a come on," I grimaced trying to play it off.
"Oh, a true yuh tek too long fi eat man. Sorry fi mek yuh affi leave out so early" she said innocently.
Just how was I going to break the news to her ?
"Sorry fi wa C? Come on man. Dat good!"
Pulling up through the gate, I spotted a blonde wig.
'Fuck .... Jade!'
Casidy was now piercing the side of my face with her eyes.
'D fuck dis man! Tideh Sunday? Jah know!'

The Chronicles of Tyfoon, The Chosen One
For hundreds of years the galaxy was kept in order due to the diligent work of The Council, the number one authority in the whole galaxy, and their appointed guardian of the galaxy, The Chosen One. With the thread of the Doomaki gone, the crippled galaxy begins to try and rebuild and find a new Chosen One to lead them and prepare for whatever new threats may come. Tyfoon, the Chosen One's only child, was born during the battle that his father disappeared in, and the ensuing battle left him without a mother as well, dying soon after childbirth. 18 years from that night pass and Tyfoon is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and serve The Council, perhaps to be The Chosen One when he is ready. But this plan is cut short when the Doomaki resurface and threaten everything dear to Tyfoon. Tyfoon must rise up and finish the task his father failed: defeat the Doomaki once and for all.
