You were seated with Kokichi on the couch, him with his phone and a laptop, and you with a notebook and phone.

"Nagito is your best man, right?"

"Yep! And Gora, Jax, Eros, Shin, Haru, Ray, Gonta, and Shumai are all my groomsmen. Is that right?"

You looked down at your notebook. "Yeah." You sighed. "So many of these talk about the bride and groom's parents... We're kind of lacking in that department at the moment."

Kokichi sighed. "Even if mine were still alive, I wouldn't want them to come. But... someone does need to walk you down the aisle. Maybe Byakuya or Makoto...?" He imagined it. "Actually, I feel like you need to be close enough to the person walking down the aisle to walk with them."

"Yeah... well, I can't say any of my God parents are alive. Or my maids. Not that I know of, anyway." You leaned back and stared at the ceiling. "I don't think there's ever been a wedding where both don't have any parents."

Kokichi shut his laptop. "Okay, parents stuff aside. What about your maid of honour/best man?"

"Well, I was thinking either Kaede or Kyoko. Maybe even Maki, but I don't think she'd give a good congrats speech if the wedding involves you." You tapped your pencil on your cheek. "Actually, I think I should pick Kaede, since I've known her longer."

Kokichi nodded. "And bridesmaids?"

"Um... hm. Well, since I'm deciding on Kaede to be the Maid of Honour, the bridesmaids would be Maki, Kyoko, Tenko, Angie, Kirumi, and Miu."

"Miu?" Kokichi squinted. "I don't think that's a good idea..." You raised a brow. "And you're planning on having Eros as yours?"

"Rantaro, probably. Unless he ends up dying within the next few months." You knocked on the wooden table. "Knock on wood, that doesn't happen. But if he somehow doesn't make it, it's probably going to be Kaito."

Kokichi crossed his arms. "Rantaro's only excuse for not attending would be dying, and you know it."

"Right. My plan for groomsmen would be Kaito, Ryoma, Hajime, Kiibo, Kiyo, and Makoto."

"That works."

"Not including the people with roles, who else is coming?" Kokichi asked. "Okay, so apparently, two of Rantaro's sisters were in one of the shelters." You said.

"Oh? And how many does he have?"

"Twelve."

Kokichi nearly choked on his grape panta. "H-Huh? Twelve?"

You nodded. "From what I remember, three should be... eight or nine as of now. One, ten. Two, twelve. One, thirteen. One, fifteen. One sixteen. Two, seventeen. And one, eighteen."

"Can't you just ask?" Kokichi tilted his head. You shook your head. "He lost them."

"HE LOST TWELVE OF HIS SISTERS AND FOUND TWO OF THEM YEARS LATER?!" Kokichi sighed. "How did you become friends with him?"

"You called him your dear Rantaro."

"That was a lie!"

You texted Rantaro. "He says that they live not too far from here. They're the seventeen year old ones." Kokichi put his head on his hand.

"Anyways! Who's going to be the flower girls and the ring bearer? Isn't it supposed to be kids?"

You sighed. "That's the problem. None of us really know any kids, from 3 to 8 anyways."

"We could ask Maki and Kaito to-"

"No."

Your phone began to ring and Kokichi looked over. "What's Sunny Hill?" You picked up your phone and smiled. "Want to find out?"

.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N!" A woman ran over and put her hands around you. "I'm so glad you're here! Um, who's this..?"

"This is my fiancé. Kokichi, this is Janet. Janet, this is Kokichi."

Kokichi waved. "Hey, I'm a wanted criminal, nice to meet you." Janet chuckled. "Nice to meet you, too. Y/N tells me about you all the time!"

"Janet!" You sighed. "Anyways, you sounded like you needed something?"

"Right. Well, a new kid came in, about 4 years old, but she won't talk to anyone." Kokichi raised a brow. "A new kid? What is this, the black market?"

"No, I'll show you." You took Kokichi's hand and led him to the main room. "This... is an orphanage."

"Y/N!"

The kids crowded around you. "Okay, okay!" You reached into your backpack. "Jules, here's the necklace I promise. Aron, this is your action figure. Now you can play with Yuin."

Kokichi stared at you in an entranced state. "I know that look in your eyes." Janet walked up next to him. "My dad used to look at my mom like that. That little hint of entrancement in their eyes as they stare at the person they love."

She clapped her hands. "Alright kids, Y/N's got some business to attend to. It's Outdoor Time anyways." The kids all flooded into the play yard.

"Alright, so is there a problem?" Janet nodded and led you to a corner, where a small girl was sitting, colouring a picture. "What's the matter?" Kokichi questioned. "Does she not like the other kids?"

You shook your head. "Seems like a different problem. You see the picture she's drawing? Does it look like anything around here to you?"

Kokichi knelt down beside her. "Now that I look at it..." The girl looked up at him. "Hey there."

She stared at him.

"Um... can she... talk?" He waved and she waved back. "Seems like she at least knows that."

You knelt down in front of her and pointed at her drawing, then at yourself. She seemed to get it and handed you the drawing.

"Hm... Kokichi, does this look familiar to you?" He looked over your shoulder. "No... but it's not anywhere around here." You pulled out your phone and sent a picture to Rantaro.

"Rantaro said that Kiyo said it looks like Spain." Kokichi crossed his arms. "Well? Do you know any Spanish?"

"I know Dora Spanish if you want to hear it."

"I don't think you'll be able to properly communicate with that. But I do know someone that might."

Soon enough, Kira came driving over. "You said you needed someone that speaks Spanish?"

"Yep! Right here."

Kira knelt down next to the girl.

"Hola! Soy Kira."

Hello! I'm Kira

"Hola. Soy Emilia."

Hello. I'm Emilia

"Qué estás dibujando?

What are you drawing?

"Mi casa."

My home

You and Kokichi looked at each other. "I have absolutely no idea what they're saying," "But they seem to be getting along."

Janet scratched the back of her head. "Do you finish each other's sentences a lot?"

"Huh?"

"So you say things at the same time as well..."

Kira stood up. "She said she moved here not too long ago, but a terrible fate came upon her parents. They weren't found at the shelter."

You sighed. "That's terrible... But, I think she should start learning English at some point."

Over the next few days, you'd spend time planning with Kokichi while Kira helped Emilia learn English.

"Hey Janet! Is Emilia doing any better?" You asked one day while visiting. You put new coloured pencils on the table, which were soon raided by the kids.

"Yeah! She actually wants to show you something. Emilia?"

Emilia walked up in front of you. "H-Hello! My name... is... Emilia." You clapped your hands. "That's amaz- That's so good!" You whispered to Janet. "Does she know what amazing means?"

"No, good save."

You smiled. "She's really learning. Are you drawing?"

She nodded. "I am drawing you." She lifted the paper and you felt like you just had a heart attack. "Oh... that's great." You said, hiding a wide grin behind your hands.

"Are... you casade?"

Are you married?

"That means married." Kira said.

"O-Oh! No, not yet. I'm going to." You rubbed the back of your neck. "Aron already to be the ring bearer, so we just need to find flower girls. You don't happen to know any, do you, Kira?"

Kira motioned to Emilia. "That's the only one."

"I can be the... um..."

"Flower girl."

"Flower girl."

You quietly gasped. "Really? Th-That'd be great!" You wrapped your arms around her and she did the same.

"You're a good kid, you know?" You said, smiling and putting your hand on her shoulder. She grinned. "You're a nice.. grown-up."
