《You Saw Right Through Me》My Name is Y/N L/N --- Nice to Meet You

Kokichi's eyes widened as you stared at him. "Um.. long time no see.. for you anyways." Kokichi slowly walked over to you and touched your cheeks. "Ow, ow, okay.... you don't need to- WHOA!" He immediately jumped on you making you both fall to the ground.
You put your hand down, making a bush appear underneath you and you fell back.
"Koki-"
"Don't 'Kokichi' me!"
He buried his face into your chest. "You just.. died... and I see you again. How am I supposed to..." You put your hand on the back of his head and stroked his hair. "I know..." You sighed and leaned back.
"Kokichi." He looked up and you put two fingers on his forehead. His eyes widened and then he fell unconscious. "Shuichi?" He walked up next to you and did the same to him, grabbing his shirt so he doesn't get hurt.
You turned into a ghost and went through the two of them so that they would lie down without you under Kokichi. "Why?" You looked at Chiaki. "I'm... not alive. I shouldn't be seen by them." Chiaki nodded as you lifted your hand. You balled your hand into a fist, making lightning appear right above you.
"What was that?" Rantaro turned to where Kaede was looking and saw a large bolt of lightning. "That's where Kokichi and Shuichi are!" He turned the helicopter and headed straight for the area.
Once they got there, they saw both Kokichi and Shuichi lying unconscious on the ground. But they looked like they were gently placed there rather than getting blasted unconscious. "Shuichi, Kokichi!" Kaede hopped out of the helicopter with Ryoma and Rantaro following.
"Mmmh..." Kokichi scrunched up his face as his eyes flickered open. "What... happened?" He put his hand on his forehead. "Shumai?" His eyes widened and he crawled over to Shuichi. "Shumai? Are you dead?" He asked as he poked Shuichi's cheek. Shuichi swatted away Kokichi's hand. "No, I'm not."
"What happened?" Ryoma asked as he looked around. There was burn marks on the ground, three broken exisals, and a green bush. "This is.. an odd scene." Shuichi looked around. "Um... oh yeah! We saw the cloaked person... but they disappeared immediately."
Kokichi felt his face. It had dry tears staining it. "Uh, yeah. That's what happened." Rantaro held out his hand. "Come on, it's about time to head back, anyways." Kokichi grabbed his hand and was pulled up. "Okay."
You watched from the hole in a building as they all got on the helicopter and flew off. You pulled down your hood over your face and disappeared.
~Time Skip~
Kokichi held his head in his hands while in med bay, with Mikan by his bed checking for any injuries. "What's wrong? D-do you have a-a headache?" Kokichi nodded. "But nothing the Supreme Leader can't handle!" Mikan nodded and looked at Shuichi, who was also pressing his palm against his forehead.
"Th-there doesn't s-seem to be a-any e-external injuries. Y-you can g-go back to your r-room." Shuichi nodded and motioned for Kokichi to follow him. "Kokichi, you alright?" Kokichi nodded as they made their way back to the room.
Meanwhile, you were still out and scouting the area with Chiaki. "Oh, looks like that's where the exisals are made." You looked to where Chiaki was pointing and saw a huge factory with an exisal coming out of it every few minutes.

"There's no way I can destroy that." You said. "There might be people inside, too." You lifted your hand and made it rain so the smoke coming out of the chimneys would be put out. "Come on, let's head back to the Future Foundation." Chiaki looked back at the exisals, but nodded nonetheless and followed you.

"What?!" Yasuhiro stood up in his chair. "Lightning and-and plants and..." He looked like he was about to faint from shock. "Hey, that's what we saw." Shuichi said. Byakuya put his finger on his chin. "But how... are we sure this thing is human?"
Shuichi nodded. "But what would it be?" Byakuya sighed. "Makoto's currently busy so we will discuss these matters when we can get all 5 of us here. Possibly 6 if Toko decides to come." Shuichi nodded and left.
"Shuichi!" He turned and met with Asahina. "There's a large scale mission next week. If you want, you guys can come." Shuichi smiled. "Thanks Asahina. I'll tell them." He went back to the room.
"Hey guys. There's a large scale mission next week." Kirumi looked up from her book. "Ah, maybe we can help out as well." Shuichi nodded. "I think that's the whole reason Asahina told me."
The next week, about 10 helicopters were sent out. You and Chiaki stood at the top of the roof while watching them all come from the headquarters. Well, you were standing on the roof. Chiaki was just hovering next to you.
"Hm, do they do this a lot?" Chiaki shook her head. "Only every few months. It's dangerous to leave the headquarters with as many people as it has now. And it's dangerous to have this many people out here. People could get hurt in both situations." You looked at your hand. "Emphasis on could."
Your ear twitched and you turned your head. "Um, Chiaki, what is THAT?!" She turned around and her eyes widened. "Um... not sure but it doesn't look good."
The exisal factory was no longer releasing smoke. There were literal lightning bolts coming from the chimneys. "We have to get the people who might be in there out." Chiaki nodded and you both flew towards the factory.
You pulled down your hood and turned visible and burst through the door. "Chiaki, who's in here?" She looked around. "Three people." You nodded and looked around. There was fire everywhere, probably from the weird lightning bolts. "Maybe a machine malfunction."
You lifted your hand and rainclouds began forming inside, putting out the fires. "There!" You ran over and helped up two people, who were unconscious from the smoke. "Chiaki, where's the third person?" You asked as you leaned the two people on the wall outside.
She looked into the building. "Back room, where the exisals are tested." You nodded and ran inside. "Hello? Is anyone here?" You listened carefully and heard coughing from the corner of the room.
You walked over and your eyes widened. "Hey..." You knelt down in front of the small figure. "I'm going to get you out of here, so just hold onto my hand." You held out your hand but the young girl didn't take it. "No way.... this is fun!" You lifted her Monokuma mask and saw red swirls in her eyes.

You picked her up and ran out of the building anyways. "Is that-?" "A small girl? Yes." You put her down and shut the doors of the building. "Okay, so is that-" Before you could finish your sentence, there was a loud crash coming from the sky.
"Y/N, look!" You looked into the sky and your eyes widened. One of the helicopters had been hit with the bolts coming from the factory--and was coming down! You squinted to see who was in the helicopter: Kirumi, Himiko, Tenko, Byakuya, Ibuki, and... "Kokichi!"
"Y/N!" Before Chiaki could stop you, you had already turned back into a ghost and zoomed into the sky. You turned physical and lifted your hand, air blow from the ground, making the helicopter's descension slow.
"What's going on?!" Himiko asked. Kirumi looked out the window. "It's... the cloaked person!" Kokichi's eyes widened and he looked out the window. You were only visible for a few seconds before disappearing again, but he saw you.
"What are they doing?" Byakuya muttered. "And how?" "You'll have to figure that out yourself, rich boy." His eyes widened and he turned around to see you in the helicopter. "How did you-" "Can you still steer this?" He shook his head. "Alright, I'll help."
You stood at the edge of the helicopter and looked at them. "Be right back." You saluted with two fingers and dropped out of the helicopter. Before you hit the ground, you held your hands in front of you. Vines came shooting from the ground and wrapped themselves around the helicopter.
You landed on the ground and held your arm in front of you. The vines slowly lowered the helicopter and made it land on the ground. "Everyone okay?" Everyone on the helicopter nodded.
"Wowie! How'd you do that?" Ibuki marvelled. You pulled your hood down. "It's nothing... but you may need a different way to get back." Tenko tilted her head. "You sound... really familiar. May I ask your name?"
You turned away and began walked towards a building. Right when you got to the door, you turned your head towards the bunch. "My name is Y/N L/N." You lowered your hood. "Nice to meet you." And with that you disappeared.
"Wait-!" Kokichi stepped forward, but stopped. He sighed and plopped down on the ground. Himiko knelt down next to him. "Was that... really Y/N?" Tenko looked down at the small girl, who had tears forming at the edges of her eyes. "Oh, come here, Himiko."
Kokichi was still staring at the spot you were just standing. "Kokichi?" Kirumi questioned. "We must get going if we wish to make it back in time." Kokichi nodded and stood up. "R-right. Race you there!" He began sprinting back to the headquarters with everyone else chasing him.
With you...
"Hey Chiaki I'm- HEY!" Two people grabbed your arms. You shut your eyes and tried to turn back into a ghost, but your eyes shot open in horror. I... can't... "Y/N!" Chiaki was flying through the people holding your arms, trying to get them to loosen their grip.
You were about to ball your hand into a fist to make lightning strike them, but then you remembered... they were human beings. "MMPH!" A cloth was placed over your mouth as you struggled. After a few minutes, you slowly dozed off. "Y/N!" Chiaki flew towards you and tried to slap you to stay awake, only for her hand to go through. "Oh no..."
.

.
"So their identity is that person you said died during your killing game?" Kyoko questioned. Kirumi nodded. "We saw and heard with our own eyes and ears." Kyoko leaned on her desk. "That's odd... I've never heard of someone coming back to life."
Kirumi returned to the room and saw Shuichi and Kaede sitting on Kokichi's bed. He was lying down and facing the wall, his blanket covering his whole body up to his neck. "He has a fever." Kaede said as Kirumi came over.
Kirumi took off her glove and put her hand on Kokichi's forehead. "Ah.. his temperature seems quite high. Have you reported the matter to Mikan?" Shuichi nodded. "She said that he should just get some rest."
Kokichi turned his head to Kirumi. "Can I have soup?" Kirumi nodded and went off to the kitchen. Kokichi lied on his back to face the bottom of the top bunk.
A few minutes later, Nagito came in with some medicine and Kirumi's soup. "How's Kokichi doing?" Shuichi looked down at the purple haired boy. "I'm not sure, but he doesn't seem better." Nagito put the tray with the medicine and soup on the side table.
Kokichi turned back to the wall. "Have you ever gotten a fever from stress?" Nagito nodded. "It isn't the most uncommon thing..." He got up and before he went through the doorway, he looked back at Kokichi. "Just don't overdo it, okay?"
Over the next few weeks, there were no sightings of you, or anyone in a cloak for that matter. Kokichi got better and continued with the missions, but there was just no sign of you... anywhere. There were no burns on the ground from lightning, no random patches of grass or plants, no puddles from rain that never happened, and there were no defeated exisals, other than the ones they defeated themselves. You just vanished.
"Alright, we're done here." Maki said as she twirled her knife. Kokichi nodded. "Kaito and I are done here. So we're gonna head back?" Tenko nodded as she looked around. "It's pretty la- Wait... does anyone feel that?" Everyone stood still and felt a soft rumble under their feet.
"It feels like something's... getting closer." Kaito whispered. Soon enough, they looked at the end of the road and saw at least 50 people in Monokuma masks coming towards them, their shadow large from the moonlight. There was one standing on an exisal's shoulder. They had a cloak that was half white and half black, and the hood was covering the top half of their face.
With the army a few feet away from the group, the person standing on the exisal's shoulder balled their hand, signalling the entire army of Monokuma masked people to stop. Maki took out her knife and got into a fighting stance. "Who are you?"
The person smirked and lowered their hood. Everyone's eyes widened as the person's smirk turned into an evil grin.
"My name is Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you."

Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!
