《You Saw Right Through Me》The Most Important Person

Tsumugi, Himiko, Maki, and Shuichi finished their training and were about to head back to the school. "You coming, Y/N?" Himiko asked. You shook your head and looked at the sky. "I'll stay here for a little while." Himiko nodded and headed back to the school with everyone else. Suddenly,
BOOM
You turned around and saw the school being blown up.
"Shuichi! What's going on?" You yelled when you ran over.
"Over there!" You turned to where Maki was pointing and saw Kiibo flying in the air, shooting at the school.
You squinted. "Is he.. flying?" Maki shook her head. "There's no time for that. We have to stop him before we get caught up in all of this." You nodded and you all ran further from the school to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
There were sparks flying everywhere, and one hit your arm. You winced and looked up at Kiibo, who didn't seem to realise he had hit you.
"Y/N! Are you alright?" Shuichi asked, pulling you closer to him. You nodded. "I'm fine, but we need to get Kiibo to come down here!" Everyone called out to him, and he began flying down to you.
"You called for me?" He asked once he landed. "What are you trying to do?" Himiko asked. Kiibo looked away from you. "I'm going to end this killing game and destroy the academy."
Your eyes widened. "B-But we'll die, too! There's no oxygen outside, remember?" Kiibo looked down, a shadow looming over his eyes. "If you die.. so be it."
You looked above him and remembered that his antennae was broken off by debris. Was that what made him seem human?
You turned around and went back to the training area. You searched for the device that you were listening to, as the others were trying to convince Kiibo that this was insane. You found it and put the earbuds in your ears, trying to find the spot.
You needed Kokichi's voice to tell you this, personally.
"What's this antennae do? Oh! I've got it! It's your humanity in a single strand of hair!" Bingo. You took out the earbuds and looked at Kiibo, who had succumbed to despair.
"That possibility is our hope!" Shuichi said. Everyone nodded, and Kiibo agreed to cooperate with a different plan to end the killing game.
"But once dawn breaks, You will end this killing-" "What did you say?" Your eyes widened at that familiar voice. "End the killing game? That's impossible!" Monokuma claimed. The exisals all appeared around him.
"Not only is destroying the school against the rules, but it's also plain mutiny!" Monokuma yelled, angrily.
"You guys run, while I stall. Find the truth!" Kiibo yelled. You all nodded and ran towards the school.
Even inside the school, you could feel the rumbling of the battle going on outside. "What do we do?!" Tsumugi asked, frantically.
"We need to find the truth, and fast!" You answered. "The mastermind."
Maki bit her thumbnail. "If there's no one outside of this dome, then the mastermind has to be in this school. They may have infiltrated the project."
"So, we need to look in the places we haven't investigated, and find the mastermind." "And hope." Shuichi added.
You nodded. "Kokichi and Kaito died to end this, so we're gonna do it for them." You heard a rumble, but it wasn't from below.
"Hold on!" You grabbed Tsumugi and Shuichi's arms and yanked them out of the way just before the debris fell through the roof. "Oh my god... You feel like you need to get that checked." Shuichi said, shakily.

You looked in front of you and saw a hole leading underneath the school. "Shuichi, come with me." You said.
The two of you went down the staircase and followed the path. There were some rocks in the way, so you had to move them aside. Once you got to the end of the path, you found a peculiar door.
"Is this... a research lab?" Shuichi asked. Your shoulders dropped. "Kokichi's is the only one we haven't found..." You whispered.
You went inside, since the exisals couldn't destroy you if you broke any rules.
"This looks... rather childish for a supreme leader of an evil organisation." Shuichi pointed out. You giggled and pointed to the disguises. "Right... evil organisation." You looked at the logo above Kokichi's chair. DICE... You smiled and looked at the floor.
You turned and saw Shuichi staring at a book. "What's that?" He showed you the title, .
He asked me to explain the history of Hope's Peak Academy, according to what you remember.
Maki came in and saw you two investigating. "What's that?" She asked Shuichi. He explained that the book was the history of Hope's Peak Academy.
Once you finished telling him what you remember, he closed the book and put it down. "That's odd."
You tilted your head, and were about to ask him what he meant when you saw a sudden flash. You stumbled back once you saw the memory.
"Did you guys... see the same thing I did?" Shuichi asked.
"I don't think I did..." You shook your head. "Let's just investigate... somewhere else." You quickly grabbed the book and followed Shuichi and Maki out.
"Let's check out Kokichi's room." Shuichi suggested. Maki nodded and all of you went to the dormitories, careful to avoid the exisals that were currently fighting Kiibo.
You were about to enter the room, but Shuichi stopped. "It's locked." You reached into your pocket and pulled out Kokichi's key.
"He.. gave it to me the other day." You put the key into the keyhole and opened the door.
"Well he sure does hoard a lot of stuff." Shuichi said. He had a pile of boxes, Rantaro's effigy, a board with people's pictures, and... a horse head?
"Ah, he told me about this." You said, walking up to the board with everyone's picture on it.
The blackened had an arrow connecting them to the victims, and the Monokubs were grouped together and labelled as "annoying."
Maki, Kaito, Himiko, and Tsumugi were grouped together and Maki was labelled as "Suspicious." Kiibo was just labelled "weird."
Shuichi's picture had the word "trustworthy" under it, but it had a question mark.
"A-Although..." You began, putting your hand over your picture. "Mine wasn't here when I came." Your picture... it was labelled trustworthy, but more importantly, it was labelled "protect."
You teared up and remembered the last time you saw Kokichi genuinely smile.
You wiped away your tears and turned around. "U-um... what's over there?" Shuichi turned around and saw where you were pointing.
"It's evidence from previous cases." He said, holding up the Caged Child. "And these... are blueprints?" He held up a few "blueprints" of inventions.
"Oh, Kokichi was drawing those when I came here. He didn't tell me what they were for, though." You said.
They were rather odd. The blueprints were for things that seemed like they came out of a child's game. "I wonder what the rest of these boxes are." Maki sat down next to the boxes and began looking through them. "O-Oh... you're really going to? Thank you."

You went over to Kokichi's bed and saw paper stars scattered on the bed sheets. You smiled and held one up. "Well, I guess he never actually stopped making them." You noticed one of the Kubz Pads from about a month ago. You held it up and it turned on. "Oh! It's Kokichi's motive video!"
Shuichi and Maki looked over your shoulder as the video played.
Kokichi's important people were his organisation, DICE. He had told me about it before, but... he didn't tell me the next part. "Then, when DICE was pulling one of their pranks, they noticed that the person they were pulling the prank on was a little more than a normal person."
"Alright, this is gonna be the best prank ever!" Kokichi said. "Wait, boss, do you hear that?" One of the members had said. Everyone was silent and that's when it hit Kokichi. "Someone's... crying." He pulled down his hat and went to take a closer look. "Damn, You never knew the child of one of the richest people around would be such a crybaby." The man said. He slapped Y/N across the face and Kokichi's eyes widened. "Boss, what's wrong?" One of the members asked him. Their eyes widened at the sight. There was a person the floor, their lip bloody, and scars all over their body.
"C-can you please leave me alone? P-Please-!" The man stepped on your back, pinning you to the floor. "Shut up! Your parents better pay up, or I'll have to kill you right here, right-" "You don't think so." The man turned around, only to be met by Kokichi's fist. "Are.. you alright?" He asked. Y/N moved back, afraid of what he might do. "I-I'm not here to hurt you. You wanna help!"
"And that sparked a beautiful friendship between the Ultimate Psychologist and Ultimate Supreme Leader." The Kubs Pad said. Shuichi covered his mouth. "You... went through all that?" You looked at the floor. "I did... but I don't remember who saved me... You guess it was Kokichi." Your vision blurred, but you continued watching the video.
Y/N had become an honorary member of DICE. Of course, they were returned to their family, but their family had believed that they escaped on their own. For a while, Y/N would meet up at a different meeting place every night, just to hangout with DICE. One day, however, they didn't come. "Where's Y/N?" One of the members asked. Kokichi was worried. This just so happened to occur when him and Y/N agreed to be part of the Gofer Project. He was called by the headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy, and was told that Y/N was taken by the Ultimate Hunt. "Damn it! Why is it always them?!" Kokichi yelled while he was on the mission with Rantaro Amami. "You know them?" Kokichi nodded. "They're very important."
You smiled and leaned on Shuichi's shoulder. "You're important to me, too." You whispered.
Once Y/N was saved, Kokichi secretly vowed to protect them. But, can you truly protect 11 people, all at the same time? A terrible event befalled everyone he loved. What was that event? You'll have to figure that out!
You furrowed your eyebrows and put down the Kubs Pad. "How... could I have forgotten?" You muttered.
You felt a hand on your shoulder. "Y/N... I'm so sorry." Shuichi said to you.
You smiled and put your hand over his, slightly brushing it off. "N-No... it's not like you need to apologize for anything."
You looked at Maki, who was holding up an envelope she found. "What's that?" She held up the envelope, and it said "this is not a will" in Kokichi's handwriting. She handed it to you, and you opened it.
A small paper came out, and it said that the next message was next to the boiler. "I'll stay here. You two go." Maki told you.
You and Shuichi went to the boiler and found the message. "Twins b." You read. "It's kind of arranged like the first message Kokichi made. Remember? Horse a?" Shuichi nodded.
You saw another flash of light and Kokichi holding you in his arms, while Rantaro was running in front of you. "Come on! They're going to pass out soon!" Kokichi yelled.
Your eyes widened and you came back to your senses. "What did you see this time?" Shuichi asked. "It was Kokichi carrying me.. while Rantaro led the way."
You felt a rumble under your feet and you pushed Shuichi away from you. Just as you did that, the roof fell through.
You swiftly moved out of the way as debris was about to hit you. "I think you have a sixth sense.." Shuichi said.
Once the dust cleared, Kiibo landed in front of you. "Sorry, I got a memory and I missed. Are you alright?" You nodded.
Kiibo offered to open Rantaro's room for you and both you and Shuichi followed him through the crumbling halls.
"Did the flashback not give you his Ultimate?" Shuichi asked while you were running through the halls. "No, he was just running in front of us." You answered.
You looked behind you and saw the exisal still chasing the two of you.
"Where's Kiibo?" You muttered. Kiibo hadn't followed you. He said he would fly to the top of the building instead.
"Shuichi, put your hands like this." You said, cupping your hands in front of you. He did so and you ran up to him and used his hands as a trampoline.
You kicked the exisal in the area the Monokub could see through and continued running with Shuichi as it stumbled back.
"I swear, everytime we're together, you seem to get cooler." He said while smiling.
You went up to the top floor and found Rantaro's research lab. Kiibo broke through the window and shot at the door, knocking it down. "If you need me, give me a shout." He told you, jumping out of the building.
Upon entering the research lab, you realized it wasn't really what you expected. "It's almost like an escape room..." You said to yourself. It had an eerie vibe to it. But it didn't give as much of a clue on his talent as you thought it would.
"Maybe he was the Ultimate Quiz King!"
You jumped a bit and turned around to see Himiko standing before you. "Oh... hey. Geez, you scared me." She smiled. "Well, now at least you have the Ultimate Mage on your side!"
Shuichi noticed the vault at the back of the room. "What...?" There were the numbers A and B on each crank, and the chinese zodiac signs, which you could rotate to align with the arrow.
"How are we supposed to figure that out?" Himiko asked. "Hold on. Excuse me, Shuichi." You walked up to the vault and traced your finger over the zodiac signs.
"Horse a..." You turned the spinner so the arrow was pointing at the horse. "Twins b..." You turned the spinner so the arrow was pointing at twins.
You stepped back and the vault opened. "How'd you know?" Himiko asked. "Kokichi." You smiled. You took the USB that was in the vault and tossed it to Shuichi, who plugged it into the laptop on the table. What turned on... was shocking.

When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful.
