Maki and I helped Kaito to the washroom as he continued coughing up blood into the sink. Shuichi came bursting in and handed me the water. "Alright, here you go, Kaito." He drank it slowly. "We're going to bring you to your room, alright?"
He nodded as we helped him straighten up. Once we dropped him off in his room, we waited outside so he could change into clean clothes.
"How long have you known about this?" Maki asked. "A while... he made me swear not to tell you... he didn't want you to worry." I sighed and sat on the floor. "I-I'm sorry, I should've told you and you had to find out like this."
She sat down next to me. "That does sound like something he'd say. I don't blame you, though. I wouldn't have told anyone either."
I opened my hand and saw what Gonta had given me. A paper butterfly. I remember when I was teaching him, he was having so much trouble because of his large hands. I put it in my pocket with a dejected sigh.
"I've been trying to treat him, but sometimes he was too stubborn to even drink soup." Maki nodded. "That sounds like him, too."
I opened the door slightly and saw that he was in bed. "He's sleeping now." I told her. She nodded and went inside.
I sighed once more, looking at the rooms of all our late classmates. I went to the school and went to the place I woke up in: the library. I sat down in the same corner and looked through the shelves for a book.
"May I join you?" I turned around and saw the small, purple-haired boy.
"Oh, hey Kokichi. Sure, come on." We sat down next to each other as I read a book aloud to him. Eventually, we finished the book, and the moment I put it down, I fell asleep on Kokichi's shoulder.

Once Kokichi realised you had fallen asleep, he chuckled and gently picked you up. He carried you on his back to the dorms and laid you down.
He emptied your pockets and put everything in the small pile of items you had gotten from your late classmates. He saw your sleeping figure and couldn't resist the urge. He kissed your forehead.
You looked so tired of everything that was going on. Your heart was too big for this killing game, and he always felt like he needed to protect it. Protect you.
"Don't worry, Y/N. I will end this killing game, and all of you will escape." He chuckled and sat at the end of your bed. "I swear, most people would've tried to kill me when I said I was fake crying. But... ."

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. The novel was originally serialized between March 1869 and June 1870 in Pierre-Jules Hetzel's periodical, the Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation. An illustrated edition, published by Hetzel in November 1871, included 111 illustrations by Alphonse de Neuville and Édouard Riou. Necro-Merchant
What up, it is zewen senpai here, with the first translated work I am attempting. It is a translation of a Chinese online novel named "陰商" (Ying Shang, or Dark Merchant). And looking at the context the story and the multi-meaning of the character "陰," I decided to name it the Necro-Merchant instead. Written by 咸魚君 (Xianyujun) or Mr.Salty Fish in English, the story is about a kid that started selling some eerie items with his cousin, because we be like that in China. Either way, enjoy the story and have a gud day.
