I did it!... Finally...
This has been a strange journey with some false starts. But let's cover more important stuff rather than wallowing in all that, shall we?
Firstly, if you are reading this and it's not on or from Royal Road, you are sailing the high seas! Not that I mind, this is free and all, but you should probably know that so that you aren't expecting things like typo fixes and interaction.
(Yes, I am leading with that because someone is already hosting this on their site without asking. Sigh.)
New Chapters & Release Schedule
Beginning with Book 2, new chapters are set for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. These will be automated releases scheduled through Royal Road's system and I'll flip on the thing that shows the next expected release on the fiction page once I begin batching these.
I am setting the bar for chapters low but there will likely be more than three chapters a week. Any additional chapters I manage to conjure up will get slotted it on other days.
Book 2 and beyond are fresh chapters reimagining the scenarios from before. Book 2 in particular has some major changes to its premise. I'll talk about the inside baseball on all that under a spoiler in the comments here.
Keeping the Novel Available
After what happened previously, I need to take steps to ensure people who want to keep reading this can. Let me begin with emphasizing something: there will never be a Patreon for this novel. If I put in the time and effort a Patreon novel deserves, I'd be finished with it before the end of this year (versus around 2 years at a 3 chap/week pace), which doesn't make for a good Patreon so it's just not happening. This novel ends at Book 7 and each Book will be about the same size as this one and that is not changing.

But without a Patreon, people need something to assure them they can hold on to the novel and it won't just disappear again. So what I am going to do going forward is release a free EPUB of each Book as they are completed. These are yours to keep, forever. Now I have no reason to hit the delete button.
This novel will also not randomly become a stub out of nowhere while it is active. If there is a Kindle Unlimited release, it will come after it is finished and everybody here has had ample chance to nab the EPUBs first. I don't see this happening -- I don't think this is a commercially viable work -- but that's how it will happen if it does.

In the year 2080, a group of fanatics believed that the world was going to end. In order to save the human race from extinction, a man named Damian Hunts created a time machine and travelled back in time to the Cretaceous Period alongside his fellow believers. They built a massive city on the continent of Laramidia, and named it Viadon. To keep their future generations from travelling back to a broken future, Damian and the Founding Families destroyed the time machine and created a their own version of history, completely leaving out the fact that they had time travelled, and that the Mass Extinction would happen thousands of years later. Two-thousand years later, the future generations of Viadon have no idea of their ancestors pasts, but things start to unravel quickly as Time Travelers come to warn them of impending doom. Vocabulary:Laramidia: was an island continent that existed during the Late Cretaceous period (99.6-66 Ma), when the Western Interior Seaway split the continent of North America in two. Having all your memories erased and be reborn as a baby without any knowledge, or giving the job of managing a Dungeon without being its Core – a very easy decision for everyone, right? Right? Right? “I really should have remembered from all those fanfics and dungeon stories that those ROBs always screw with their mortal playthings” growls Claudia as she checked her Status for the umpteenth time. “How dare that... that...that manipulative thing did this to me… And no matter what extra options he gifts me with, I will NOT use them to create a hentai dungeon or anything like that” This will not be the usual dungeon core-type story found around here, but the main difference will only be explained in chapter 4 by the Dungeon Pixie. Also – despite the warning please don’t expect any explicit scenes in this story. The warnings are there because mature themes will be mentioned (and not only because the Higher Power provided some special options), but the MC is dead set on evading those options as she sees them as traps. So there are no explicit descriptions planned at all. If that changes I will give extra warnings in the chapter title, but I plan on handling things other ways. Later chapters might go a bit farther than the simple mentions in chapter 2, but don’t expect much more. Status Update 04. April 22 Writing Buffer used up, as said before I'm switching to one chapter a week on fridays. The new cover is the second placeholder, but what I really want will have to be commissioned and take a while. At least it is better than the map-part from chapter 4 that was the first placeholder.
