Storm's POV

"Are you sure you're up for the next one? We can reschedule" Saweetie says, for the third time today. I was currently at a shoot for Fashion Nova and have been taking pictures for hours. This morning when I woke up, I felt a bit better but my face still hurt a bit. I iced down my face so it was no longer swollen and got my makeup done so it looks like nothing happened. I also woke up early because Josh got Tae to do my hair. I love him so much.

"I'm fine Saweetie. If I couldn't do it, I wouldn't do it" I said to her sighing. We took often breaks so I could sit down and get my energy back up. My body still aches a bit but I wasn't gonna let it stop me from working. I definitely won't let someone like Cali stop me from making my money.

"I'm just worried about you that's all. I don't want you to over work yourself" She says sighing. She's been a bit down lately because her and Quavo recently broken up. She says she's fine and happy with the decision she made, but I know deep down she missed him. But of course, she won't admit it.

"I won't, I promise" I said smiling at her. I grabbed my phone and decided to look at what people on social media been saying. I went to the post that The Shaderoom made and read the article. Storm Christopher get's jumped by Instagram model Cali Daddy with two other women. I rolled my eyes and went straight to the comments.

"What are you doing?" Saweetie asks me.

"Nothing" I said as I read the comments. Everyone was basically saying I deserved it. Well damn...to think I had at least some people on my side. I then left the post and was looking at my dms and tags. Let's see...death threats....girls saying they're gonna take Josh from me....girls saying Josh is cheating on me....people saying I'm a murder....nothing new.

"When is all of this gonna stop..." I said to myself as I frowned.

"Ok Storm, let's start again" The photographer says and I nodded. I stood up and put my phone down. I can't let those comments and posts get to me right now. I took my robe off of me and walked towards the white backdrop.

"Alright, dim this light and make this one brighter" He says and the staff members follow his instructions. I posed and he started taking pictures. Let's get this over with...

Josh's POV

"Where are we going?" Marcus asked me as we were all in the car. I took them out of school early so we can go somewhere to eat. I haven't been spending much time with the kids and been sending them to my parents house because I didn't want them to get involved in the drama that's been going on. I feel like I should tell them or at least sum up what's been going on to them. Also break the news that they won't see their mom again. That's not gonna be easy.

"To eat, what do you guys wanna eat?" I asked them.

"McDonald's" Lola says.

"No let's get Pizza" Kevin says and Marcus nods.

"Hmmm I want McDonald's too, how about you Chels?" I asked Chelsey as I glanced at her through the mirror. She looks at me and giggles. My guppy.

"Pizza!" She yelled and the boys cheered.

"Looks like they beat us Lola" I said to her and she giggled.

"It's ok. Pizza is good too" She says and I nodded.

"Pizza it is" I said to myself as I found a nearby Pizza Hut. I drove to it and then parked the car.

"Unbuckle your sister from her car seat" I told the boys. They nodded and helped Chelsey out. We got out the car and Chelsey walked up to me and put her arms up.

"Up daddy" She says in her little voice. I smiled and picked her up and kissed her cheek. I locked the car and we walked to the door. I opened it for them and they walked in.

"What kind of pizza do you guys want?" I asked them.

"Cheese" Lola says.

"Chicken" The twins say. I chuckled and nodded. They were all so different.

"Alright, find us a place to sit. Then wash your hands" I said to them and they ran off. I walked towards the cashier and when she looked at me, her jaw drops. I'm so used to this now.

"You're Jaygup!" She says and I laughed.

"Yea it's me. How are you?" I asked her.

"I'm good thank you, how are you?" She asks and jumps a bit. She's excited.

"I'm good, can I get a large pizza. Cheese on one side and chicken on the other" I told her. She nods and taps things on the computer.

"Any sauce?" She asks.

"Yea, three ranch please" I said to her and she nods.

"Drinks?" She asks.

"Yea. One pineapple juice, two apple, and one orange" I said to her. It's funny how different my kids were. She nods and then looks at me.

"That'll be $26.30" She says. I flash my card at her and tap my card on the machine. Once it goes through, she gives me the receipt and I walk away.

"By the way, your daughter is so cute" She says and points at Chelsey. Chelsey smiles and I look at her.

"Say thank you Chelsey" I said to her.

"Thank you" She says and waved at the girl. I smiled and walked towards where the others were. When I spot them, I hear them having an intense conversation about who's a better basketball player. They were talking about Melo and I.

"LaMelo Ball was a great player, he averaged about 40 points a game" Kevin says.

"Ok but Josh averages 50 points a game, plus has a better performance" Marcus says. I sat Chelsey in a nearby high chair and sat her beside me.

"Well Melo was smoother on the court and had better handles" Kevin says.

"Guys I think Melo and I were both great. I had my strengths and weaknesses and so did he. There was a lot of things he was better at then me" I said to them.

"Really?" Kevin asks in disbelief.

"Yea, and if he was still here, he'd probably be better then me" I said to them.

"Woahhh" They both said. I nodded and got up when I heard the girl call my name. I walked over to her and grabbed the pizza and drinks and brought it back to the table.

"Did you guys wash your hands?" I asked them.

"Yes" They all said.

"Ok" I said and opened the box. I gave a dipping sauce to the twins, one for Lola and Chelsey, then one for me. Then I handed the apple juice to the twins, orange juice to Lola, and pineapple juice to Chelsey.

"Thanks Josh" They all said.

"You're welcome" I said to them as they ate.

"Here princess, eat this one" I said to Chelsey as I handed her a small cheese slice. As the kids talked, I thought back to the conversation about Melo. If he was still here, he wouldn't probably be the best. He would be the best. He'd be a better player then any of us. His skills were different and how he trained was different as well. Melo man, I miss you.

"So Josh, can we come back home now?" Lola asks me. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her.

"Yes princess you guys can come back home now. A lot just been going on and Storm and I didn't want you guys to get in the middle of it" I said to them. Good thing they didn't see how mad Storm was. That would've been awful.

"What's been going on?" Marcus asks me.

"Quick question, does anybody talk about Storm at your school?" I asked them.

"Not really. Kids our age don't really care what you adults do" Kevin says. I nodded and toke a bite from my pizza. Well that's one thing I don't have to worry about.

"Well, Storm and your mother don't really get along. Let's just say they got into a little argument and you guys can no longer see her" I said to them, their faces then drop. Shit.

"Why not?" Lola asks.

"Because your mom isn't in the right state of mind and we just think it's best she doesn't see you guys" I said to them.

"So we can't go to her house on the weekends anymore?" Marcus asks me.

"No, not anymore" I said to them. I looked at them and they shared looks with each other.

"I'm not hungry anymore" Marcus says and puts his pizza slice down.

"Yea me either" Lola say says and puts her pizza down too.

"Same" Kevin says, he takes one more bite of his pizza before putting it down.

"Cmon guys don't be mad at me, it wasn't a easy decision to make" I told them.

"But you guys made this decision on your own without considering our feelings" Lola says frowning.

"Of course we thought about you guys" I told her.

"Sounds to me like you guys thought of yourselves" She says and crosses her arms. Oh no...

"Do you know how happy we were to see our mom again after all these years. It brought back old memories from when we were together" Marcus says.

"Look guys, this was for the best. Storm and Cali only bump heads so this was the best way to keep them apart" I said to them.

"So all of this because our mom and Storm don't get along?" Kevin asks and I nod.

"Sounds pretty selfish to me don't you think?" Lola says to her brothers and they nod.

"Yea I think it's home time" Kevin says and the others follow him.

"Guys don't go" I said to them.

"We don't wanna be here anymore Josh, plus we got homework. Let's just go" Marcus says. I sighed and nodded. I closed the pizza box and cleaned up and threw whatever garbage away. I grabbed Chelsey and the pizza box and followed the kids out of the restaurant. They got in the car and I buckled Chelsey in her car seat. I then walked over to my seat and turned the car on. I looked at the kids and seen them frowning in their seats.

"You guys mad at me?" I asked them. They looked at me and then huddled together before Lola turns around.

"Yes we are. And when we get home, we won't be speaking to you and Storm" She says and crosses her arms. I sighed and turned back to the front.

Storm isn't gonna like this....
