Storm's POV

Skip to 1 week!

I was in my moms private hair studio in our house and she was doing my hair. My flight to Arizona leaves at 10am. So when I get there it'll still be day time since their time is 3 hours behind. I was shaking a bit because I was nervous. Nervous to be on a plane and to be flying on my own. My mom looks at me through the mirror as she grabs the curling iron.

"What's on your mind?" She says and I shake my head.

"Nothing" I breathe out.

"Lie again little girl" she says. I swear that's her line.

"I'm just nervous. And I'll be flying alone" I say looking at her.

"I knew that would be an issue so I hired one of the flight attendants to help you out" she says and I smile.

"Thank you mom" she looks at me and smiles.

Sooner or later I'm finished my hair and head to my room. I look in the mirror and look in the mirror.

"Ok Storm. You cute or whatever" I say sticking my tongue out. I grab my phone and take a picture to post on my Instagram.

As you can see. I had a bit of a following base. I had about 50k followers on Instagram. Only because I liked to take pictures promoting people's clothing brands. And hair companies. Also because of my mom.

I walk over to my stuff double checking that I had everything and nothing was missing. I sit down and squeal in excitement. I can't believe I'll be there for the whole summer. This is definitely gonna be fun. I grab my phone and stalk my husband on Instagram until it's time to go.

Time skip

We were in the car singing along to songs until we arrived at the airport. I looked up and seen a plane fly across causing me to quickly sit back in my seat and close my eyes.

"Storm you'll be fine. To late to back out now. Your ticket is paid for" my mom says getting out of the car.

"Ok storm... you'll be fine. It's a 5 hour ride. Nothing big, you can do this" I say to myself and come out of the car. We grab my suitcases and head inside. My mom walks over to this lady and they hug.

"Karin! Great to see you'" the lady said to my mom and she does the same.... I just stand there confused.

"Storm this is Nancy. We went to school together, she's now a plane attendant" Mom says and I wave at her and she does the same.

"You're so beautiful how old are you?" She asks.

"I'm 17 and thank you" I say and she smiles.

"I'll be staying with you on this flight to make sure your ok and satisfy all your needs. Your mom tells me you have a little plane fright but it's ok you have nothing to worry about" hearing that definitely lifted a weight off of my shoulder.

"Let's go through security and all and get you on your flight on time" She says grabbing my suitcases. I turn and hug my mom. We rock side to side till she pulls away.

"I love you baby girl. Remember to be on your best behaviour and if you ever need me, call or text me ok" I nod.

"Ok mom. And I love you too. Bye" I wave at her and she waves back. I grab my bags and me and Nancy head over to the counter so she can scan my passport and do all that stuff.

Time skip to being on the plane

We put my bags away and I sit and breathe. My mom got me a first class ticket so I can be as comfortable as possible by myself. Nancy seems cool though. And very kind hearted. She made sure I was ok and made sure I ate. She told me stories about her, my mom, and auntie when they were in high school. I can see why my mom raised me the way she did. She's made some mistakes in the past that she doesn't want me making. And I completely understand why.

Right now I was blasting youngboy in my ears as I was thinking about all the things me and Star are gonna do. My music stops when I get a FaceTime call from her. Good thing I have data.

she yells and I laugh turning the volume down.

"I know it's gonna be fun" I smile at her.

she says and I thank her. We continue to talk until I see my husband post something on Instagram.

"Oooo my husband posted on Instagram" I say to Star and she starts to laugh.

I scoff at how she talked about him. I know she didn't.

"Girl get it right. His name is Josh Christopher not "that gup guy"" I say to her.

I laugh at her and shake my head.

"Girl whatever you say. You gotta have one"

"Ok Star" I shake my head and roll my eyes.

"Yea so am I. Byeeeee" she waves and we end the call. I adjust my ear pods in my ear and play music. I close my eyes and sigh. Ok this plane ride isn't as bad. I'm finally calm and relax.

Time skip. Arrived in Arizona

As I stand and wait I have the biggest smile on my face. I'm finally here. I'm in Arizona. The nice American air fills my nose and might I say it felt great to breathe in. As I'm waiting for Star, I see this boy but I can't see his face. He's doing a little goofy dance as he's standing beside I think his mom. She pushes him and he laughs. That laugh sounded familiar but I couldn't pin point from where. Welp doesn't matter.

While I'm watching him, someone comes and jumps on my back. I scream and jump back. I smile once I notice it's Star.

Yea you see that baddie right there. That's my cousin Star. Isn't she gorgeous???!! She gets all the guys but doesn't entertain none of them cause she hasn't found the 'right one'. I don't blame her though. I'm not giving no one a chance unless it's my husband.

"Girl I MISSED YOU!" she yells and some people turn heads in the airport.

"I missed you too. Let's not waste anytime and go" I say and she nods. She grabs one of my suitcases and bags and we both walk out the airport. We put my stuff in the trunk then hop in the car. Once we drive off, I look at my surroundings. Man, America definitely got nothing on Canada. But it's a different place so I might enjoy my time here. As we drive I see this big university.

"Woah that university is huge" I say looking out the window and Star nods.

"Yea that's ASU" she says as we stop at a red light.

ASU......where have I heard that. Hmmm....wait. WAIT. OMG OMG OMG!!!!

"OH MY GOSH STAR!!!! THATS ASU?????" I yell shaking her arm and she looks at me like I'm crazy.

"Yea girl. Why you so excited?" She says and starts laughing.

"JOSH CHRISTOPHER! MY HUSBAND! IS GOING TO THAT COLLEGE!" I say screaming. I don't know why I got so happy. Wait!

"AND HES GOING TO BE HERE. HE SAID ON HIS LIVE HE'LL BE HERE THIS SUMMER OMG DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS???"I ask her and she shakes her head.

"I might meet him. Omg I think I'm gonna cry" I say as I feel happy tears come to my eyes. She laughs at me and shakes her head.

"Storm you're crazy. But hey it's possible. Arizona isn't that big. At least to me. But girl we got so much stuff to do together. This is gonna be an unforgettable summer" she says and I smile.

Oh it definitely will be!
