I felt really uncomfortable at this point so I grabbed Bronny's hand and told him that we should probably leave lunch.
We got up and just left the table. We were walking in the halls and we heard administrators so we went into the nearest room which happened to be the janitors closet.
We stayed silent for a few minutes.
" are you really leaving ? " bronny asked out of nowhere with a curious plus sad look
" um yea in 4 weeks " I say with my head down
" and when were you going to tell me ? " he asks lifting my chin up
" I- I was going to tell you but didn't know when because everything just happened so fast and I didn't know what to do " I say
" would've been better to hear it from you then yasmine though " he says with a light chuckle
After that the bell rang then he looked around and noticed that we were in the janitors closet.
" I got to go but promise we can talk about this later " he says walking away but the realizing we were still holding hands
I looked down and giggle.
" promise " I say then letting go of his hand
He smiled and left me alone in the janitors closet. It was the last period of the day. After a few minutes in the closet I decided to leave.
I got out the janitors closet and I saw Layla down the hall.
" Layla " I say loud enough that she could hear me
She turned around so I walked to where she was.
" where you going " I ask her
" I'm leaving " she says plainly
" as in skipping the rest of school " I asked surprised

" yup and I'm waiting for jalen, Josh and Dior " she says
" speaking of them their they are " she added
I turned around to see Jalen, Josh and Dior walking towards us.
" do you know you can get in serious trouble for that " I say acting like a mom
" yurr let's go before any teachers come " Dior says once they were near us
They started walking and I just stood their.
" you comin lil slime ? " jalen asks while I just stood still
I felt guilty but I quickly went with them anyways. We went to the car and quickly left the school.
" oh my gosh I'm really skipping school, take me backkkk " I say shocked
" yo y/n chill you never skipped school or sum " jalen says laughing from the passenger seat
" no she was homeschooled " Layla says wrapping her arm around me and shaking me while giggling
I quickly calmed down.
" where we going anyways " I asked slumped in the seat
" where we had the picnic.. we're gonna go watch the sunset " Dior says
I sighed and went with the flow until we arrived at the place.
We got out the car and went up a little hill and we sat on the grass and watched the sunset for a few hours.
Out of nowhere we started to feel little petals of rain, we ignored it. Suddenly the rain got really heavy.
" aaa we should probably get to the car now " I say giggling while the rain was making us completely wet
Jalen picked up Layla and took her to the car since she wasn't wearing the right things and the rest of us ran.
We rushed to the car and we all got inside. We all took a deep breath and looked at each other and laughed. We started driving back to Diors house in the rain.

We arrived at the house and we changed into some pjs and watched a movie for the mean time.
While watching the movie we got a call form the home phone.
" it's the school number " I say looking at everyone else
" don't pick up " they say completely calm
I didn't pick up and just left the phone to ring. After a while jalen went home and it slowly started getting dark outside.
Layla and josh were sleeping on the couch and Dior was still watching the movie. I looked over at him.
" should we go to treys lil get together " I asked him
He looked over at me and said a simple ok. We went and got ready and left. We got an Uber and arrived at the get together.
We arrived at the house. We knocked at the door, we heard laughing and music inside. Trey shortly came to the door and opened it for us, we entered and we saw everyone.
" surprise " they all yelled once we entered his house
" what going on ? " I ask while giggling out of excitement
" the class wanted to throw you a little get together before you left for Hawaii " a girl in my class named destiny said
I looked over at Dior.
" you knew didn't you " I say
" I just had to go along with it. Now let's get this lil party started ! " he says
The music started playing louder and everyone started having a great time again.
