the walk to the office was silent . it was me and bronny and Corey following behind.

We reached the office when bronny says he'll wait for me outside.

That's when me and Corey went in .

" hey dad sorry if I'm- " I say but stopping once I saw a women and a men.

They turned around and it was my mom and a man.

" hey mom meet y/n " Corey says

I looked at Corey with big watery eyes.

" Corey " I say looking between him and my mom

Both of my parents looked at me. My dad just rubbed his face while my mom stood their speechless.

" um y/n this is my mom and dad " Corey added

" is everything ok " he asks

" that's my mom Corey " I say with disbelief

" are you- are we - " he says cutting himself off trying to collect his thoughts

" no only your newborn sister and her are half siblings " my mom says with a soft tone

A big silence fell between the room.

" that's why you left " I asked

" because me and dad weren't enough " I say on the verge of crying

" no you said we were gonna start over without her and yet she's standing right here in your office .. with her new family " I say

" faith please come to my office " my dad says in his little speaker

I started to walk away from the door till Corey spoke.

" I'm sorry " he says

That's when faith entered the room and took my hand and we left.

" bronny tell everyone to meet us at the car I think it's time to leave " faith says

My eyes were so watery I couldn't see anything .

She took me to the car and we sat their just having a little talk.

" hey sunshine look at me " she says

She searched my eyes then started speaking .

" I remember when I used to babysit you when you were really young .. I picked you up from school ..everything " she says

" our life together was the home I ever really had .. I love you .. I always will " she says with a tear on her face

I hugged her tightly.

" let's wipe our tears and go on now people are coming " she says wiping my eyes

I put on a fake smile when everyone entered and we started to get on the road to go home.

" everything good " bronny whispered in my ear

" yes " I say with my head down but slowly picked it up to show my fake smile

He looked at me and just hugged me.

After a while we arrived home and everyone went their separate ways.

I started to walk to my room when I see josh.

" um have you seen layla " he says panicking

" no but I think she's fine she's probably with yani or something " I say tired from what just happened

" no you don't understand y/n she's not with them and if she's not with them she's probably gonna do something bad " he says still panicking

" what are you talking about " I ask confused

He stood quite for a second.

" ever since my gran n mom passed she told me she's been depressed and having suicidal thoughts " he says rubbing his head

" oh my gosh y/n I'm her big bro I'm supposed to be their for her no matter what " he says sliding down on the wall

That's when we hear crying in another room. We opened the door and it was layla.

" laybay " he says rushing to the floor to hug her

" I'm ready to go guys I'm done with this " she says looking at us with eyes full with tears

" you promised me we gon stay in this together lay come on now " josh says

I got on the floor and hugged both of them.
