《Cold Blood (Completed)》Three- In the College

I never thought a day would come when I'll be attending college with my kindergarten mates at side. I pulled the strap of the bag over my right shoulder and walked like a Queen with my footmen or whatever they are on my side. The idea of Harry being my footman was appealing though. If that happens I'd kick him on the face saying my foot slipped.
Grayson was nicer than Harry. I guess nothing has changed over years. Harry is still the villain and Grayson is still the hero.
Grayson was handsome. He had sandy blonde hairs and hazel eyes on his beautifully tanned skin. Harry looked like he hadn't seen sun in ages. It's not California here.
The big brother had driven us to school with Harry on shotgun while I settled for backseat of their Aston Martin. I liked the car. Daniel had one of this kind but I never looked at interior.
"Sera, you have same course as Harry. Your all classes are with him. I'll see you around somewhere." Grayson told me and walked away hurriedly leaving me with Henry the great.
When I looked at him, he was already staring at me with a creepy smirk on his face. There was in intensity in his blue eyes that fixed me on a spot.
"It's rude," he said. I blinked shocked.
"What?" I frowned.
"Staring at someone." He replied as a matter of fact. "Don't worry though. Girls stare at me. I'm used to it so I won't find it very rude. You can stare all you want."
True to his words, girls were staring at him as if he was a piece of candy without any shame. He didn't even seem to be bothered by that as we made our way to somewhere.
"I was staring because I think I've seen you somewhere. Not those years ago but in past couple of years." I replied. I really felt that. But when I was staring at him, I was thinking about nothing of the sort.
"Sure you were." He said carelessly.
I guess I didn't sound as convincing as I was planning.
There were whispers in background that didn't go unheard by my sensetive vampire ears.
Look at him. He's so hot.
Who's he?
He is that hotshot Grayson's cousin, right?
I'll take this boy to my home.
Who's this girl at his side?
Man she is hot.
I call dibs on her.
Are they too together? Please don't let them be. If I was bi I would screw both of them.
I hope he is not straight.
He's got all bad boy vibes on him.
I really want her. And I will get her.
I tuned them out. I guess both of us are receiving equal attentions. But seriously how dare someone call dibs on me. I'm not anyone's property. Crazy horny boys.
Harry came to halt suddenly. I took an extra step forward and stopped.
"This is my locker." He pointed out. "Where is yours?"
I frowned. "My locker..."
He rolled his eyes. "Where are those sheets Grayson gave you. Look at them."
I pulled my bag open and fished out the pages from binder inspecting them. Harry looked at it over my shoulder.
"You have to be kidding me." He muttered under his breath.
I read the number next to his locker and it matched the numbers on the sheet. There was a password written. When I tried, my locker opened.
Great. We are neighbors now.
I pushed my new books inside and turned to ask him about first class. He was already staring at me with his dark blue eyes.

"Let's go," he said before I could utter a word.
He didn't even looked behind at me to see if I was following. I was not. I was gawking at his back. The boy was confident and arrogant. Definitely a typical bad boy.
With a shake of head, I followed him like a lost puppy. I was indeed lost but I was no puppy.
We walked in a packed class. He lead me to the back of the class. Several eyes followed us wondering who the new students were. Familiar whispers were heard. Gossips never stop, do they?
The classes were uneventful. But I had fun when a red head threw herself on Harry when we were collecting our periphernalia for next class. He smiled politely at her. She pushed herself to him while repeating 'I'm sorry' seductively. Some girls are just so desperate. It's a shame. Really.
"Will you go out with me so that I can properly apologoze?" She batted her eyelashes at him.
"No thank you. I'm fine. I'd be happy if you leave me alone now." He said through gritted teeth. I could see he was losing his patience but the girl didn't seem to be even a little bit fazed.
"Oh come on. It's a favor," she ran her fingers over the fabric covering his chest.
I frowned. She was going to far. My eyes fixed on her hand.
"Listen you pathetic girl. I don't need a loser like you. Go apologize to a homeless man sitting on a street. I'm sure he will like your favor. Girls like you deserve to be there and not in an institutions meant for studies." He said in a dangerous voice. His eyes were cold and dark as she shrink under his gaze. She recoiled and hurried away from him as of he was on fire.
My eyes connected with his swirling electric blue eyes. They were no longer cold but clouded with something which I could closely relate to anger but was not quite sure.
"We have another class to attend. Don't stand like a dumb statue." He said calmly. All previous signs of coldness disappearing from his face.
He was so rude to that girl.
I nodded mutely watching him cautiously. He was like an effing time bomb. I looked at the girl at the far corner. She was standing with her friends chuckling nervously.
We walked past her and I heard her whispering to her friends.
"He is a freak."
It made my blood boil. From my experience from high school I knew what these rumors did what to you. And I knew what Shea did to me. Harry had an inscrutable look on his face. He was staring forward. He didn't hear her. But that doesn't mean she didn't say anything.
I stopped and he gave me a confused look.
"I'll follow you in a minute. Forgot something in the locker. You go. I'll find you." I told him. He nodded continuing on his way.
I walked to the same girl who was giggling with her group of friends.
"You should make sure a boy is interested before trying to sleep with someone. I mean look at you. He can get any girl he wants. When you threw yourself at him, I was worried you were going to force yourself at him." I said with a smirk.
Her fake tanned face turned red. The girls at her side watched speechless.
"How it felt when your pathetic attempts were rejected by him? It hurt. Poor girl." I gave her fake sympathy and walked away feeling satisfied.

She was fuming with anger. I knew it. But she can't even touch my hair. I'm a vampire. I'll always win and she will always lose.
"That was interesting." A voice spoke. I stopped in my track and turned around slowly.
Harry was leaning against the wall with a smirk on his face. I cussed mentally.
This is embarrassing.
"It was nothing," I played cool. "Let's go to our next class. We are running late."
He grinned and nodded his head not saying a word. I was thankful.
But not for long.
"Were you jealous?" He asked smugly.
I scoffed. As if I'll ever be jealous over him.
**
Not only Harry but Grayson also was a female magnet in college. All information I got was from whispers. Since my all classes were with Harry at my side, I pretty much needed no friend. And these human kids knew nothing about me.
I was 19. So was Harry. There were even older students but they acted like teenagers.
Seriously? Grow up.
As the day passed and it was all over- my first day at college, a boy approached me while I was waiting with Harry for Grayson leaning against the black car. He was wearing a basketball jersey and shorts. His hairs were wild and his eyes were pale blue, much lighter shade than Harry's.
"Hey, I was reading a book of numbers yesterday and I realize I don't have yours." He suddenly said to me.
Seriously? Somebody kill me.
"I'll give you her number. The figure will be same as number of bones in your body after I break them." Harry said from my side sounding calm.
The unnamed boy looked at Harry with sour face. "Are you two together or something?"
"That doesn't concern you," Harry gritted his teeth.
"If you two are not together than I can hit on her. You can't do anything." He countered.
He can hit on m Who does he think he is? And being or not being with Harry shouldn't matter if I say
I scowled at the boy.
"You can't hit on me." I stated.
"Playing hard to get now, are we?" He smirked.
"Go away kid. You won't like to hit on me because my knee accidently lands there." I pointed at his manhood. "And believe me. It's not pretty." I raised my eyebrow in challenge. His face paled as if remembering something. I smirked. Why am I not surprised?
From nowhere, his confidence returned and he gave me a cocky grin that didn't look good on him.
"Oh baby, you will love it too much that you will keep your knee away from it." He looked down.
I gave him a disgusted look.
Boys are perverts. Nothing new.
"Garret, come here," someone shouted and the boy signalled one finger for 'one minute'.
"If you are not interested, I will make you interested. Don't think I will give up that easily. I'm pretty persuasive." He said the last part as if he was going to lose his voice.
I gave him a flat look and he jogged away.
"He'll come back." Harry said from my side.
"I know." I replied shrugging. "Where's Grayson?"
"Making out with Brittany Fray."
I turn to look at him. "What? That's truth. You don't believe me?" He asked.
I turned away from him and picked Grayson's scent in air which lead to a car across parking lot. My ears spiked up to pick up sound.
And Harry was correct.
"How do you know her name?" I asked. For whole day he was with me. And it was first day of us.
"He just texted me."
"What did he say? Going to make out with Brittany Fray."
"No," he showed me his phone. It was an apple iPhone pretty expensive.
"How did you know they are making out?"
"I am a boy and his cousin. I know homework doesn't exactly mean homework to him."
"So you do it too?" I inquired.
"What?"
"Homework with Brittany Fray?"
"No way! She is that pathetic witch. The one you bullied." He told me with a smirk.
I puffed out my cheeks. Okay, I should have not done that. I should have let her call him names. Then I would watch from afar him being bullied.
"It's almost fifteen minutes. Where is he?"
"In her car. He will return in ten minutes."
"But the text said fifteen minutes." I argued.
"He doesn't think with his brain. He gets carried away easily."
My face scrunched up in disgust.
He chuckled. "What? Your hero is a player. Nice choice."
I scoffed. "He's not my hero."
How does he know?
Okay. Grayson was my hero but in past when he used to save me from Harry's torment. I was a child back then. Stories of heroes fascinated me.
"You sure?" There was a hint of amusement in his tone.
I gave him a bored look.
"You're boring me. Will this happen everyday?"
"With Grayson. Yes," he nodded.
And what about you?
"But I can assure you that I am not like him. Girls are too pathetic for my liking."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me. Girls are pathetic." He shrugged. "Brittany Fray, a very fresh example."
"I was also there. I don't remember this girl kissing your feet." I countered pointing at myself.
He chuckled at me. "You'll be begging me one day Serenity."
"In your dreams Henry." I scoffed.
"That's present situation."
I gave him another look of disgust.
"Hey guys. I hope I didn't make you wait for long." Grayson said coming towards us.
"Only half an hour Grayson," Harry said sarcastically.
The older cousin flipped a bird and hoped in driver seat with a grin on his face.
I got into backseat and Harry followed me. I gave him a quizzical look.
"I'm not going to sit beside him." He said with finality.
I rolled my eyes and looked out of window. There were dark woods in background. It was beautiful. The temperature was down. A scenary change is always good. We passed tall, strong trees. The road was smooth. I wish I could go there. In those woods. Well I will go there to explore them. I will like to know what is inside there. I will like to know are all trees so beautiful and strong. I will like to know where that purple light came from.
Wait!
Purple light.
"What happened to you?" Harry asked drawing my attention to him.
"There was a... a... a forest fire." I replied. What could be the reason for purple light in the forest?
"Ha Ha. That was funny." He said flatl
"But there was-"
"Nothing. Now you've started to hallucinate forest fire in a green forest."
Confused, I nodded lamely.
But
I could have sworn.
What was that purple light?
