larib pov:

i was waiting for the texi , since what 15 minutes. GOd i hate waiting the one thing that make me furious ..ok ok may be many things but in that one thing is waiting . i want to rip the throat of my texi driver for being late .chill i don,t love violence it just i am angry so i said .

larib was still talking to her self when her phone rang it was not anyone other than her colleague and friend anu (anum). After larib join the clinic they became close not too close like bestfriend or something but close to talk about stuff in the job time . larib doesn,t believe in friendship because she thinks everyone leave you at the end so their are no true friends.

she slid the screen and answer the call .

"yes anu ,where are you guys i am waiting for you .and you know i hate waiting specially when people are starring at you like they never have saw a girl so you ...."

"chill girl , would you let me talk "anum said from the other side of the call .

"the thing is driver called he said he can,t come so i am coming by walk towards you then we can go from there ."

"when did he said to you he is not coming "larib asked angrily .

"well 5 in the morning at prayer time "anum answered her .

"" she was way to angry right now .

"sorry i forget to tell you and well being late ...i just thought we are going by our self so lets go a little late beside we don,t have any work before 9 ..."

"i will kill you anu seriously ....i ..."

"ooo i can,t hear oo.." anum quickly cut the call because she was already near her and she knew she will only scold her nothing else .

In the mean while xavier was looking at the whole situation from his car although her face was covered but he could surely say it that she was angry .

he was still looking at her when suddenly a girl arrived and stood with her they talk wih few taxi driver which gave him the idea that they needed a ride .

"so babes need a ride well ,i can,t let you ride with any unknown driver its already too risking you are standing their on the road for 15 minutes and these pervet men can,t keep their eyes to themself even though you are covered. i will kill these people if they don,t stop starring at you "

xavier was still talking to himself when he just made his mind and took his car towards them . he parked the car infront of them and lowered his black window and asks them

"do you guys need a ride " he spoke from the car .looking towards them specially towards larib .

larib didnot even get a chance to say something because madam anum had already accpeted the offer and sat in the back seat of the car . larib was so astonished at her behavior because anum knew that larib family was strict they don,t let their women to sit in anyone cars even in their cousins car so sitting in stranger car specially when he is a handsome guy was not even an option .

larib knew if someone saw her they would make a big deal out of it and would assume things . she didn,t like when anyone hurt her self respect but now whats done is done anu was sitting and she could not deny it now , she could not embaress herself infront of them and the people who are looking towards them . after alot of inner battle she sat in the back seat and prayed that no one see her even though she was not doing anything wrong but people can assume many things which are not good things .

she was standing like a statue like i asked her to give me her life . she was so nervous and scared even though she didn,t said anything but i could read her face , the funny thing is her face was covered with a doctor mask this time but her eyes and the way her forehead had lines in it ,it showed that she was in deep thought . i thought she would not sit and refuse me but her friend sat before her and she could not do anything now and sat in the back seat.

it made me a little angry that she sat in the back i am not her driver but its ok soon she will sit with me in the front as my girl.

the whole ride she was so nervous she was holding her files and her phone in such a strong grip she was so scared , on the other hand anum was sitting so calmly . she even thank me and asked me , my name .

"thanks alot for giving us a ride we really appreciate it we were getting so late beside i didn,t catch your name . "

xavier looked towrds them by the rearview mirrior and answered her question .

"its not a problem you guys were standing their from a.long time beside it is not safe for girls stand on the road for that long when their were so many men. next time try to call for uber or something like smart people ."

he said this while looking towards larib because he did not like for a second that she stood their infront of those perverted men.

she looked towards him and their eyes. met in the rearview mirrior ,she could not understand whether he was saying it genereally or it was directed towards her .

"and my name is xavier " he said still looking towards her. she quickly removed her eyes from him and looked outside .

"OO NICE name my name is anum and she is ......sorry she don,t like to. introduce her self to unkwoun people but she is my friend and colleague.

"well nice meeting you both ,beside its a good thing we should not introduce ourself to anyone ,we can,t trust everyone."

whole ride was silent she didnot said a single word and still she was nervous and scared xavier could not put a finger on why she was scared that much she seems a strong confident girl.

he knew one thing from his field of work people are not scared without a reason their is something that made her this scared and frightend , and this single thought made him alot angry .

they arrived at their destination larib and anum both stepped out of the car anum even thanked him but he didn,t said anything and drive like a mad person . he had one thought in mind to find out why was she so scared .

the guy drove like a made men from us it looked like we put agun to his head and scared him to death to give us a ride he was the one who offered so why was he so angry then .

"well that was handsomely rude not to even acknowledge my thanks and drove. away like crazy men ." anum said who was standing with larib and looking towards where the car went .

larib looked toward her and said "is this even a word handsomely rude . "

"well if it was not, now it is discovered by none other than anum " she said and they both started laughing . and went inside .

larib was still in thought when anum asked her "whats the matter what are you thinking about . "

"nothing it just that ,that guy seemed so familair like i saw him some where " larib said to her friend still thinking where she saw him .

"well where you saw him think where , " anum asked her seriously and urgently.

"thats the think i don,t remember but i am sure i saw him "larib said

"well i don,t doubt you darling because the way he was starring at you and the moment we sat in the car and he rearranged his rearview mirror on you says something " anum said still going inside .

larib became shocked and hold her hand " .what are you serious, don,t joke like this , "

"i don,t joke and i am a therapist i obsereve my surrounding . "anum said to her .

"well i know. .... i did too but then i thought i am assuming things , but why would he do that ...... wait ... shit ... " larib suddenly became quite and she was so stunt.

"what what happened " anum suddenly looked towards her .

"HE WAS THE SAME GUY FROM LAST WEEK , you remember my child client who run away from clinic one day ....he was traumatize " larib said looking toward her friend .

"yes yes i remember this happened few days back back probably 2 weeks ago ".

"yes you know i told you about the guy who asked from me about the kid and were starring at me " larib contnuied when anum said suddenly

"yeah that guy who tried to touch your cheek and were looking at you like lost puppy and then you were angry and scolding him for so many days . "

larib slapped her arm and said

"it was not necessary to remember me all the detail you know how hard it was to forget . "

"sorry but was it him. don,t tell me " larib nodded at her

"o my this handsome hulk was the one is he your admirer ..... what if he came today to was it intentional to give us ride. ......... "

"shut up. its not funny at all ok .......no why would he i am not some beauty queen that he is dying for me you saw him and i. don,t like such men or any man. so stop it , just hope we don,t see him again or i will kill him . "

"ok chill girl lets hope he is gone "

like that they went inside and started their work the day past and now xavaier was in his privat jet going back home .

he found out the reason of her nervousnesss and he could not believe that she was the victim of domestic violence how could they slap her how could her own brother do it , it made him furious and he knew one thing to make her his. soon .

"leo you are staying here and when i call after 4 months i want you to tell me i can take whats mine so protect her with all your heart because if something happen to her i will rip your heart out and i want you to start working on the plan as soon as possible . "
