《Aas-e-Ishq (Hope Of Love)》Chapter 22

Happy late night reading 😴😴😴
Today was Mirha's Reception. It was 2 days since that argument between Zaydan & Hooriya and after that they didn't tried to talk to each other. They were just two strangers living in the same room. Hoor's parents bid her farewell yesterday after loads of shopping by her father. Rehman Khan had some work, so they couldn't attend the reception. Hoor wanted to go with them, but she couldn't miss Mirha's reception as she was also a part of family now.
What changed after her marriage was she started getting messages from unknown number. Hoor didn't thought much about it thinking it was just a wrong number. But messages were very strange though. Like,
"How are you beautiful?"
"I missed you."
"Showing tantrums aren't we?"
"I would be stealing you soon."
Last message gave her negative vibes but she shook away the thoughts. But then messages started to come with Zaydan's name.
"Tell your husband, I have some unfinished business with him."
"Ooops. I think Zaydan isn't interested in you."
She started getting worried. But couldn't tell this thing to anyone. She wasn't in talking terms with Zaydan and she didn't wanted anyone to get worried because of her.
××××××××
Zaydan would try his hundered percent to make up to Hoor. He would do things that would make her heart flutter.
Like now after praying Fajar together he turned to her and was doing dhikr of Allah on her fingers. She couldn't stop him as he directly started to recite.
When he finished she asked him the reason behind it.
"I just recited tasbih on your hand so that we can share the ajr (reward). And in sha allah will be together in Jannat too."
Her heart fluttered at his words. How can she stop herself from falling for him. Taking her hands back she stood up and went outside.

They were sitting in the living room after breakfast. All the youngsters dragged her here and were sitting surrounding her.
"Hoor to batao tumhe hamare Zaydan bhai kaise lage?" Ali asked her teasingly.
"Wo kisko bure lagte hai? Dusra sawal poocho yaar." Haider said.
"Hmmm...to apko unke room me suffocation nahi hota. Mera matlab hai...full black. Meri to jaan nikal jaye." Safiya asked shivering a little.
"Tum fikar mat karo hamare room ka color black nahi hai." Ahmer teasingly whispered in her ear making her blush. He was sitting next to her eating snacks from packet. Many wrappers were gathered around him which he very cleverly passed at Hamza's side.
"Ap log hmko bhabi na bole. Ham Hoor hi thik hai." Everyone looked at her smugly. Amd Hoor didn't regret anything in her life as much as that sentence. Because next half an hour their were series of "Bhabi" said by everyone to irritate her.
"Bhabi bhabi bhabi bhabi bhabi bhabiiii bhabii bhabi."
"Ufffff. Chup ho jayeeee." She shouted making everyone snicker yet again.
Zaydan came inside immediately listening her voice.
"Kya hua?" He immediately asked and looked at her from top to bottom to check if she was okay. Hoor's heart fluttered at his concern.
"Bhaii. Ap fikar na kare apki begum hamari bhabi hai ham unhe kuch nahi hone dege." Hamza said smiling at him but soon his smile turned down as soon as he saw Zaydan glaring at him.
Ahmer sneaked out from the scene knowing his family's anger issues.
"Bakwas na karo. Or ye kya gand phaila rakhi hai. Saaf karo isse abhi." He ordered him.

"Bhai ye sab Ahmer ne kiya. Ahmer!" He turned to Ahmer to see no one at his place.
"Ye galat hai. Gand koi or failaye or saaf ham kare..." his sentence died down earning yet another glare from Zaydan.
"To kya hua ham bhi to free hai. Ham kar lege saaf. Isme konsi badi baat hai." Hamza immediately changed his sentence.
Zaydan left after that.
"Dekhe bhabi. Kitna zulm karte hai ham par." Hamza said wiping fake tears. "Ap kismat wali hai k apse mohabbat karte hai." Hoor looked surprised at him. But mentally scolded herself for even thinking in that line.
×××××××××
It was after lunch that they began to get ready for the reception. Mirha's house was quite far away from here, so they have to leave early to be there on time.
Looking at the clothes in front of her Hoor sighed yet again. The condition of Zaydan's room was recognizable. All the clothes she bought day before yesterday with her father insistence were scattered on the bed. But not one dress she found favourable for the event.
Her Khala told her to wear something more fancy as she was also new bride now. She badly wanted her mother to be with her at this moment.
Sighing yet again she bagan to pick up the mess, when Zaydan entered the room wanting to take some rest before getting ready.
He looked shocked at his room's condition. Hoor looked up at him embarassed.
"So...sorry. Ham bas abhi saaf kar dete hai apka room." Hoor said while picking up her clothes hurriedly.
She took some dress hangers and was passing by him when he stopped her by coming in front of her.
"Ye sirf mera nahi apka bhi room hai. Or is par utna hi haq apka hai jitna mera hai." His voice dangerously low causing her heart to rip out of her chest.
"Agli baar mai ye na sunu k ye sirf mera room hai warna mujhe haq batana achi tarah ata hai." He continued.
She looked down barely controlling her tears. Nodding slightly she went passing him towards the closet.
Zaydan immediately regret his actions. He didn't wanted to force something on her. He wanted to give her as much time she needed to process their relationship, but sometimes he really gets out of control. He couldn't bare her ignoring him like a plaque.
He came to the real world when someone knocked on the door. Opening it he saw his mother standing there with a smile. Giving her side to come in he followed her.
"Tum jakar Mirha k room me ready ho jao. Hoor ko tayar karne beauticians aarahe hain. Maine tumhare kapde wahi rakh diye. Or khabardar jo dusre koi kapde pehne tumne." She warningly pointed at Zaydan and gestured him to leave the room. Without uttering a word he left the room knowing his mother.
"Hoor kaha hai?" She asked herself & as if on que Hoor came out of the closet.
"Aunty?"
"Hoor...ye dekho aj function me yahi pehenna." Rukhsar excitedly handed her one of the box she was carrying.
Hoor opened the box and took out the dress. She gasped looking at the dress. It was half saree in white color & golden work. With sequins work all over the pallow and border. Its full sleeved blouse was fully embedded with white diamonds.
"Aun...aunty yeh bhot pyari hai." She excaimed happily. "Lekin aunty yeh kuch zada bhari nahi lagegi reception k hisab se. Hamko itne bhari kapde pehenne ki adat nahi hai naa." She explained her point of view.

"Kuch nahi hota. Or tum bhi nayi dulhan ho. Abhi nahi pehnogi to kab pehnogi?"
"Aunty lekin..."
"1 lafz or nahi. Ye tumhare saas ka order hai." This made her shut up. She reluctantly took it. Knowing very well it will be first time she will be wearing saree.
"Aunty hame saree drape karte nahi ati." She tried her luck lastly.
"Mere paas uska bhi solution hai. Beauticians aarahi hai tumhe tayar karne."
Hoor looked shocked at her.
"Aunty..." she whined like a small child. "Ab ham khud se ho sakte hai na tayar. Beautician ko bulane ki kya zarurat hai?" She said while making a face but next second sat straight seeing stern expression on her mother-in-law.
"Ham Uncle ko apki complain karege." Hoor said jokingly while looking down. "Ap abhi se hamari saas ban gayi."
"Kar dena complain. Bahu aisi ho to saas ko hi strict banna padega. Mai bhi dekhti hu kya karlege tumhare Uncle." Huffing she took out another box & gave to Hoor.
"Ye dekho maine tumhare liye kharida hai. Saree par khub jachega." Hoor looked at the diamond set in front of her. Gasping she took it & traced her fingers on it.
"Aunty yeh. Yeh bhot hai ham yeh nahi le sakte. Apne pehle hi yeh saree or ab itna mehenga set."
"Pata nahi tumhe pasand ata hai ya nahi. Mai to tumhare pasand se lene wali thi lekin shayad tumhe pasand nahi aya isilye mana kar rahi ho." And here comes her black mailing.
"Auntyyyy...aisi koi baat nahi hai. Ye bhot acha hai. Hmko pasand bhi aya lekin..." she whined a little.
"Lekin wekin kuch nahi pasand aya na to ab tum yahi pehnogi saree par." She dismissed Hoor knowing her well.
××××××××
After praying Asar salah, Hoor got ready with the help of beauticians. She kept her makeup simple not wanting to gain attention. Her hairs were done in a beautiful bun even after her denial because she have to cover it with hijab at last.
Just after she wore the jewellery Zaydan entered the room after knocking once.
As soon as they saw each other, both of them forgot to blink. Zaydan forgot to breath after seeing her. She was really a Hoor. His Hoor. In white saree she was carrying herself leisurely. Her long hairs updone in a bun were pulling strings of his heart.
Suddenly he looked at himself & then at her. Their outfits were matching. Thanks to his mother, she had tricked them very cleverly.
He was wearing white & black 3 piece suit. Fitted perfectly to his toned body it was doing something to her heart. She looked away realising their matching outfits. A beautiful blush adjorned her face.
Sensing the atmosphere getting thick. Beauticians quickly did her hijab & left.
Controlling her heartbeat she stood up from dressing table and stepped towards bed to take her purse. She still couldn't look at his intense eyes again. She was feeling insecure now. She started fidgeting with her purse. She just wanted to hide somewhere away from his piercing gaze.
"Bhai chale." They looked away when Ahmer came inside bit abruptly stopped seeing Hoor.
"Sorry. Wo mai. Mujhe asiehi habit hai Bhai k room me ghusne ki. Mai bhul gaya tha Bhai ki shadi ho chuki hai." Ahmer scratched his neck sheepishly.
"Koi baat nahi. Ye ab bhi apke bhai ka room hai." Hoor just shrugged her shoulders. Ahmer nodded and went away informing to come down.
Zaydan looked at her. Hurt visible in his eyes. She clearly ignored his warning of calling their room as his.
Sighing dejectedly he picked up the keys from dressing table & left without uttering a word.
Hoor was about to follow him when her phone pinged with a message.
"Looking forward to see you."
She looked confused at the unknown number. A chill ran down her spine thinking of the consequences, but she shrugged her thoughts and went down.
Rukhsar met her in the hallway & was gawking at her.
"Masha allah. Kitni pyari lag rahi hai meri beti." Rukhsar said lovingly.
"Aunty. Ham over to nahi lag rahe hai na."
"Nahi beta. Waise bhi nayi dulhane aisehi tayar hoti hai."
The feeling was still foreign to her. Being a bride was still a dream. Was she even a bride?
They went down together to see everyone ready. And soon they were settled in the cars. Except Hoor. She didn't knew where to sit. Everyone was settled and there wasn't any space left. She felt left out. Zaydan was nowhere to be seen.
Cars began to zoom out one by one. "Bhabi ap Bhai k sath ayegi." Ahmer yelled from the last car winking at her & all the youngsters laughed at her. She gelt embarassed standing there alone.
As if on cue Zaydan came out of the house. He looked surprised at her. "Aap gayi nahi Ammi k sath?"
Hoor felt hurt at his enquiry. Wasn't he was the one who married her? Then he should also be the one responsible for her. He surely didn't wanted to go with her.
"Nahi wo jagah nahi thi kisi bhi gadi me. Apko masla hai to ham ghar par bhi ruk sakte hai. Hame waise bhi saree me comfortable feel nahi hora." She said clearing her side.
"Nahi...nahi. Mujhe koi masla nahi hai. Chalo." Saying he opened the car door for her & waited for her to sit comfortably.
"Apne ammi ko inkar kardena chahiye tha agar comfortable nahi thi to." He said once they drove on road.
"Apko lagta hai hamne nahi kiya hoga." She replied.
"Mai bhi comfortable nahi tha. Lekin ammi k samne kiski chalti hai?" He said referring to his white outfit.
Hoor didn't replied. They didn't said anything after that.
"You are looking beautiful though." He whispered.
Hoor hid her blush with her hijab looking outside the window.
××××××××
Ali was driving 7 sitter car & Ahmer was on passenger sit. Ramsha was sitting in middle, on window side while opposite window was captured by Safiya leaving Fajar in between. Last sit was captured by Haider & Hamza.
Ali & Ramsha was stealing glances every now & then. This didn't went unnoticed by Hamza. Nudging Haider he told something in his ear making him smile widely.
"Ramsha ji." Haider called her. "Ap kya karti hai." This caught Ali's attention.
"Ummm. Mai BA kar rahi hu." She replied nervously.
"Hmm acha haiii. Haina Hamza?"
"Ha bhot acha hai. Haina Ali?"
Ali started coughing at their question. He just nodded while concentrating on driving.
"Dekha ise bhi acha laga." Haider again turned to Ramsha making her blush.
"Khana pakana ata hai?" Hamza.
"Or dusre kya kaam ate hai?" Haider.
"Baking?" Hamza.
"Ha Ali ko cake bhot pasand hai." Haider.
"Use green color bhi pasand hai."
Hamza said referring to green color she was wearing.
Fajar & Ramsha was gaping at them. While Ali's condition was getting bad second by second hearing his brothers.
"Tum dono ka dimag kharab ho gaya hai? Kaisi baate kar rahe ho?" Fajar screeched making them close their ears.
"Ham yaha tumhare piche baithe hai. Aisa bol rahi ho jaise koi dusri car se baat kar rahi ho." Hamza shook her violently.
"Chodo mujheee." She jerked his hands away.
Ahmer & Safiya was busy texting each other while looking at each other through the side mirror.
"Pata hai Hoor bhabi ko lagta hai ham unhe pasand nahi karte as in our bhabi." Safiya said earning everyone's attention.
"Ha mujhe bhi aisa laga. Aisa lagta hai wo insecure hai." Ahmer can't sit back now without siding Safiya.
"Sab itni jaldi hua k pata hi nahi chala. Koi nahi. Reception hone do fir acha sa surprise plan karege." Haider said.
What they didn't knew was the poor soul was still to be tested.

Humans Must Adapt!
Humans Must Adapt is a First Person point of view from the eyes of slightly crazy and totally not a masochist MC. The setting takes place on a copy of earth with a different name. A cataclysmic event causes the native humans to be usurped from their natural place at the top of the food chain. Time has now passed, and the Humans have managed to settle themselves into mediocrity. But this is not enough.Note: I don't plan on including sexual content. The MC won't have an end game goal right from the start. Feedback is welcomed. The MC is a Tamer.
