Enjoy!
Present-
Next morning there was a chaos in the house as guests was starting to come from today. The males of the house were sitting in living room distributing respective works among each other when Rehman sahab came with happiness on full display on his face.
"Ye lijiye bhai mu mitha kijiye."
He said coming towards them.
Ahmer at once took the box from him and the boys began to fight as to who will get more sweets.
"Kis khushi me bhai?" Shahana begum asked curiously.
"Apni Hoor ka rishta pakka kar aye hai ham". He informed with beaming face.
Everyone froze in the living room. Ahmed who was extending his hand to snatch the piece of sweet from Azhar didn't took a second to retreat his hand. Haider, Hamza & Ali who were hell bent on taking equal pieces went dead silent. Ahmer who had a sweet in his mouth couldn't gulp it down.
And Zaydan, he couldn't even blink. He went stone in his place. He suddenly remembered look on Hoor's face last night. Now he understood why was she looking devastated. Without saying anything he got up and left the house.
Composing themselves everyone smiled at Rehman Khan. He didn't even wait for their greetings and went in to inform his wife.
Shahana begum looked at his grandson's retreating figure. She didn't knew what to say. All the boys went silent contemplating on only one thought 'why was they affected by the news. It was not like she would stay here for forever.' But the girl had made her space well in everyone's heart.
Junaid Jahangir. How much he had dreamed about making her his daughter in law. They were going to present the proposal after Mirha's marriage but how luck has trolled them. He at once remembered his wife. How devastated she would be after hearing this news. Not wanting to think about the possibilities he went to his room.
Hoor's father entered the small living room made for ladies. He beamed at his wife who immediately knew the reason of his happiness. He looked at his daughter who was sitting beside Rukhsar begum with proud & teary eyes.
"Ye lijiye aunty mu mitha kijiye." Hoor's sister Haniya came to everyone with sweets. Hoor looked down not wanting to witness the scene unfolding in front of her.
"Kis chiz ki mithai hai bhai?" Rukhsar asked confusely while packing Mirha's jewellery.
"Abbu Hoor ka rishta pakka kar aye hai." Rukhsar went stoic in seconds. She looked shocked at them then at Hoor who was now in her khala's and mother's embrace taking blessings. She didn't knew what to say. After coming back from the shock she meekly congratulated Hoor's mother and stood up not wanting to witness anything anymore.
"Aye hayee rishta pakka bhi ho gaya or hame khabar bhi na mili." Fajar teased her at last.
Hoor looked at her with teary eyes. Fajar instantly hugged her tightly. "I will miss you." Fajar don't knew why she didn't wanted her to go from this house.
All the ladies went to greet the males outside leaving the girls alone.
"Ap aise kaise kisi se bhi shadi kar legi. Mai aisa nhi hone dugi!" Safiya exclaimed. They were not ready to accept that she was not living here for forever. Reality kicked them hard without any warning.

Mirha looked at Hoor with longing expression. How much she wished to address her as 'bhabi'. Shaking her thoughts away she got up and hugged Hoor not knowing when tears started forming in her eyes.
Hoor couldn't take this much attention. She was panicking now. She didn't know what to do or how to react. She wasn't ready for this. But one look at her parents faces and she knew even if it will swallow her whole being she will do it for her parents happiness.
Hoor detached herself from Mirha and looked at her.
"Areeee ap kyu ro rahi hai? Abhi apki rukhsati ko time hai."
She tried to ease the situation.
She looked at Fajar shocked. She was also flowing with tears.
"Areey ap log to aise ro rahe hai jaise hmari doli nhi janaza uthega." She said without thinking and recieved four slaps in return.
Rukhsar was crying hysterically in her husband's arms. She was cursing herself for wanting to wait to send the proposal. But the damage was done now. She detached herself and wiped her tears when someone knocked at the door.
"Aajaye." Composing herself she called out.
"Aunty!" She looked up to Hoor standing there with sweets.
"Ap aisehi uth kar aagayi. Mu bhi mitha nhi kiya. Dekhe hm apke liye apki favourite mithai laye hai." Hoor told her with an expressionless face.
"Mujhe nhi khaani ye mithai." Rukhsar straight away declined. Knowingly or unknowingly Hoor knew her reason of denial.
"To ap keh rahi hai apni beti ki khushi me khush nhi hona hai apko?" Only Hoor knew how she said that words. She had bottled up her emotions. Rukhsar cried hugging Hoor to her chest who was sitting on her knees in front of her. Keeping stone on her heart she took a small bite of sweet fed by Hoor mumbling a small 'khush raho'.
Unknowingly with tears flowing down their faces they were sharing each others pain.
Zaydan. He didn't know what to do. He was regretting each each second of his life. Life. What had he made of his life. 3 years since 3 years he was standing at the same place. She had said him once that she had moved on from him but he knew better because he was standing in the same shoes as her. He knew how does it feels to love someone and get rejected because the same pain was sowed deep inside his heart too stubborn to move out.
He puffed yet another smoke. Yes. He was smoking for first time in his life. He heard somewhere that it numbs your greif and that was what he was trying to do. But not getting any result he flinched when yet another smoke left the mark on his finger just like she has yet again left the mark on his soul.
Destiny smiled at the life at its cruel game assuring souls that after hardship there is ease.
Only 2 persons was happy with this proposal from Jahangirs. Planning evilly for breaking the poor soul beyond the repair. But they forgot that Allah is the best of the planners.

Hoor couldn't sleep tonight. She was getting anxious because she didn't saw Zaydan today. "He should be happy for this. He must be the one who prayed for this to happen. He should be partying for all I care. Huh." She was gritting her teeth thinking about him. She didn't wanted to think about him but her heart couldn't listen to her for once.

She startled when Hadi slapped her on cheeks playfully to gain her attention. He couldn't sleep no matter how much his mother tried so here they were. Both of them enjoying each other's company in lawn. Hoor didn't wanted to let the chance go to play with her nephew.
She started talking to him with baby voice. Making him giggle and jump excitedly in her lap.
"Hadiii...Hoor ko koi pyar nahi kalta..." she said playfully making a crying face keeping her forehead on Hadi's shoulder.
Hadi started crying on this making Hoor surprised. She started rocking him standing from the bench and walking here & there whispering sweet things to him.
Rehan Khan was seeing her from his room's window all the while. His daughter was not little anymore. She has grown into a beautiful girl of whom he was proud of. He was about to turn around when he saw Zaydan's car coming inside the haveli making Hoor turn around & look at him with Hadi still in her hands.
Zaydan didn't saw Hoor as she was standing on side far from the main gate. She didn't wanted to confront him but her wish wasn't granted as Hadi began to shout for him and wiggled in her arms and and started crawling towards him.
"Daaaaan...daaaan." Zaydan turned around on Hadi's voice. He got surprised on finding him here but looked forward to see her coming behind Hadi in attempt to stop him.
Hadi began to call his name as "dan" and started to forward his hand for him to take him. Hadi was a very easy going child. He use to bond easily with some people while while with others he don't even spare a glance. Zaydan had became one of his favourites beside Hoor since he came here.
Without looking at her Zaydan lifted Hadi in his arms, throwing him in air he caught him again making him laugh out loudly.
Zaydan smiled a little at the bundle of joy. Hadi rubbed his tiny hands on his beard and giggled softly feeling ticklish.
Hoor was witnessing him smiling at her nephew. She was mesmerised by him. How easily Hadi had made a bond with him. She flinched when Zaydan's eyes turned dark at once looking at her.
His hairs were dishealved. Eyes bloodshot red. His eyes were describing his miseries which she didn't want to witness, she looked away.
"Congratulations." His husky voice send chilled down her spine making goosebumps to rise all over her body.
She just nodded in return not trusting her own voice to come out in front of him.
She couldn't look at his intense gaze anymore she looked away & taking Hadi from his arms making sure not to touch him in the process she stepped inside not looking back for once controlling her own tears.
Zaydan felt his soul drifting away from him. His unshed tears finally made its way down his face without his knowledge.
Looking at her, he could tell that she didn't forgave him till now. How can she? He was the culprit. Her culprit. He couldn't forgive himself for what he had done than how can she forgive him? She was right at her place. Why would she wait for him? He didn't even apologised her. On what basis she would have wait for him. He didn't even have guts like her to confess his feelings. Things was already out of control & now he can't even put forth his proposal as she was already bonded with someone.
Sighing dejectedly he stepped towards his room.
Rehman Khan's eyes witnessed all the scene unfolding before his eyes. He was satisfied with his daughter's proposal but now was reconsidering his own decision. First time in his life he was rethinking if his decision for Hoor is right or not.
He couldn't ignore the longing in Hoor's & Zaydan's eyes while looking at each other. He wanted to know if his daughter is happy with his decision or not. The tears in both the eyes was telling yet different story. Most important of all he couldn't ignore the fact that they looked perfect together. But how can he break the proposal? What if his thoughts are all wrong. What if this is just an illusion?
With many questions in his mind he went to sleep not knowing what his daughter's destiny has in store for them.

Today was Haldi function. Hoor was busy in guiding the decorators with Shehry as it was Mirha's wish. This contract was given to her Boss's son aka Shehry. He was the biggest flirt Hoor have ever seen. There wasn't a girl left in his office with whom he hadn't flirt with. Hoor was an exception as their parents were family friends.
"Hoor..." Shehry called her from behind. It was the first time he was calling her as 'Hoor'. Astonished she turned around to face him.
"Hooriya." She said her name & he looked at her as if she has grown two heads.
"Its Hooriya for you." She said again. Shehry's smile vanished but composed himself.
"But I like Hoor for you. It suits you." He said winking at her.
Hoor's eyes widen at him.
"Look Mr. Shehry..." She was about to give him piece of mind when Rehman Khan called her inside. He didn't liked how Shehry was flirting with her. Family friend or not he should maintain his distance.
Zaydan was witnessing all this. Standing in his room's balcony he saw how he was flirting with her. His jaw clenched. He fisted his hands tightly turning his knuckles white. He couldn't do anything. Things was really not in his control.
They were forgetting that Allah has all the control on everything and he surely will not put his creation beyond his tolerance.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

Soul of the Warrior
In a world where Classes, Stats, and Levels are the everyday norm, Reivyn has a secret. He was unusually aware of his surroundings from an incredibly early age, and Skills and Stats were acquired easily. He was just the son of an ordinary village family, and nothing appeared out of the ordinary on the surface. But below the surface, dreams of another life help shape his mentality and growth. Why does he have some remembrance of a past life, and what is his purpose in this new one? "Soul of the Warrior" is what I call a Semi-Isekai LitRPG. I say "semi," because Reivyn's past life is remembered like a dream, and very incomplete. It is still Isekai, though, as he remembers enough that it directly shapes his personality and his sense of self. The System that governs the world of "Soul of the Warrior" is a combination of modified versions from Selkie's "Beneath the Dragoneye Moons" and Kosnik4's "Magic Smithing." I have changed enough of these Systems and combined them in a way that is unique that I'm mostly sure it's fine, but I still have requested permission to use these ideas. They have both graciously granted me permission. Winner of the April Writathon Challenge. Release Schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri on Royal Road.
