They fell into comfortable silence after that.
"Pata hai Hooriya ap bhot special ho." She looked at Ahmed through her lashes. He was the most silent among the kids and speak only when necessary.
This caught attention of Zaydan who was doing his office work on laptop.
"Bhot kam log hai jo Dadijan k karib hai." Ahmed continued seeing now everyone was interested in this.
"Dadajan k bad to unhone hamse bhi baat karna kam kar diya tha."
It was Azhar who understood his twin's point.
"Haa yaha tak ke Zaydan bhai se wo dono adhi raat tak baate karte the Dadajan k jane k bad unhone Zaydan bhai se bhi sirf mukhtasir baat hi ki." Safiya also joined the conversation.
Hoor looked at Zaydan who had a painfull smile adjorning his features.
"Ab to wo intezar karti hai k ap kab college se ayegi or kab wo apse baat kar sakegi." Haider said in a trance as if remembering something.
"Hooriya..." Mirha looked at Hoor who had tears in her eyes.
"Kya hua tum ro kyu rahi ho?"
"Nhi...kuch nhi bas kuch yad agaya tha." Without listening to everyone calling her name she ran inside to her room.
Zaydan looked at her retreating form where she disappeared. He knew why she spends time with his grandmother. He knew how much she missed her grandparents.
"Don't!" He stopped Fajar from going after her.
"But Bhai..."
"No Fajar. She needs some alone time. Let her be."
No one argued and went inside to their respective rooms.
No one noticed how the cheerfull atmosphere turned gloomy in seconds.

Next day was sunday. Hoor didn't get enough sleep because of all the thoughts swirling in her mind. She woke up for Fajar and went downstairs to help for breakfast. No kid was up untill now except Zaydan who went for jogging.

She entered the kitchen seeing ladies of the house preparing tea for the males who were about to return after their morning walk and preparing breakfast alongside.
"Aj nashta or chai hm banaege ap log jaye or jakar apne shoharo k sath baithe" She ordered them and not giving any chance to speak forced them out of the kitchen. She sure as hell was aware that she didn't knew cooking perfectly but just the basic breakfast items. But the damage was done now.
"Areee aj yeh kya hua ap sab log yha"
"Kuch chai wai ka intezam hai k nahi"
"Aj suraj kaha se nikla bhai"
"Mai khwab to nhi dekhra"
This were the reactions of Jahangir brothers upon seeing their wives waiting for them in the house garden.
"Apki hone wali bahu ne aj chai or nashte ka zimmedari li hai"
Rukhsar whispered when her husband sat beside her. Junaid smiled knowingly in return at her.
"Areee dekho Zaydan bhi agaya. Aao beta aj hmare sath chai k maze lo."
"Ji chacho bas fresh ho kar aya."
Zaydan was astonished seeing everyone in the garden but got his answer when he entered the kitchen. He leaned on the doorframe and looked at her who was adorned in plain white shalwar frock and was working swiftly in the kitchen as if she was the owner. Her dupatta was tied in the form of hijab and her silver bangles was making tinkling noise.
"To ye apka karishma hai!" She got startled at his voice and drop the spoon which was in her hand. She turned around and looked at him who was now drinking water from waterbottle leaning on the fridge still staring at her continuously.
"Waise hai to ye apka kam". She said picking up the spoon.
"Ab tum mujhe sikhaogi kya karna hai kya nahi"

His eyed turned cold which would have feared the one standing in front of him but it was Hooriya Rehman not any girl.
"Ha to jab apko samaj nhi raha to kisiko to samjana padega na."
"Tum..."
"Just looked at their faces" Hoor cut him off. "Just look how happy they look sitting there with their wives and brothers. Ap hi bataye last time kab baithe the ye log 1 sath is tarah."
Zaydan looked at his elders through the glass window and sure as hell they were beaming with happiness. He didn't remember when was the last time he had seen them this happy.
He looked at Hoor who was now bringing Shahana Begum to the lawn talking with her animatedly. He was about to turn when she came back to take tea for everyone.
"Hmara apki family me jagah banane ka koi irada nhi hai. Hm sirf yeh chahte hai k hmari zaat ap logo ko bojh na lage. Ap log ka bhot ehsan hai hm par jo hame ghar se dur bhi ghar jaisa mahol rehne ko mila bas usi k badle hm ye choti choti khushiyo se ap logo ka ehsaan chuka ne ki koshish karte hai."
He knew why she was saying this. She knew that he feels like she will destroy his family. That was the main reason of his rudeness towards her. But how can he remain rude at her when she was such a sweetheart.
Sweetheart???? Really zaydan...
He scolded himself and proceeded towards his room.

8 121A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

8 131The Brotherhood Archive:Crossroads(Revised)
All people great or small have a story - Patriarch Lord Theris'Heron Soletus, was on the verge of becoming a warden in the Dias Brotherhood until his father holds him back. Instead of proving his skill with culling monsters that plague the land, he is given an assignment different assignment. It isn't one that test doesn’t test his physical strength, but his strength of character. He is paired up with a shy and traumatized boy name Mien. However, when Soletus’s resolve to help starts to waiver, Mien does something unexpected and Soletus decides that the boy deserves a second chance not as an act of duty but as a friend. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it. Now she has to figure out her future in ways she never thought she would. I'm going for a Tues and Thurs day schedule for the re-upload. I may or may not stick in extra days.

The rich, well, remain happily oblivious in the big American cities.
