7 months later
The water splashed out of the tub as she straddled my lap giggling. I cupped her face grinning like an idiot as I kissed her plump lips. Her hands travelled on my torso making me shiver even in the hot water. I pulled her closer to me as I pushed my tongue in her mouth. My hands traveling down her bare back and carasing her curves. She let out a soft moan.
I came down kissing her jaw line, her neck and kissed her breasts fondling them as she moaned my name driving me crazy. She was grinding naughtily on my hardness.
"Don't tempt me to lose control Naila." I murmured on her skin biting at her sweet spot as the side of her neck.
"Ah...I dare you to!" She moaned.
I groaned excepting her challenge as I pushed her to the other edge of the tub and the water splashed out again hearing her gasp in shock. I hovered over her wrapping her legs around my waist.
I gazed into her brown orbs intently, her lips parted as her breathing fastened. She gave out a cute yelp as I squeezed her behind with both my hands. I chuckled at her shy reaction.
"I did warn you...."
It's been just a week since we came back from our second honeymoon at the Caribbean. My wish to see her in a bikini was fulfilled in the most delicious way as we had the entire resort to ourselves with an open pool and the exquisite view of the mountains.
But still we seemed to be in our honeymoon phase even after soo long. We just couldn't keep out hands off eachother.
###
I laid on the bed yawning with my head propped on my elbow and palm as she asked me for the 28th time?
"Which dress is better....this one....or this one?" She said holding the dresses in front of her, excitement glinting in her eyes.
"Anything looks better on you Jaan." I groaned.
"Oh come on Kaif. Put some effort into it. Today is my Convocation. I want to look perfect in my pictures." She pouted.
"You're going to wear a black robe over it anyway. Why bother?" I yawned again. We just did IT twice. Isn't she exhausted? Usually she's the one complaining about being tired.
"Still I wanna look perfect. I even have to choose matching earrings and shoes on the dress." She said.
I even have to go through that?! Ya Allah save me!
I got up completely out of my mind now and picked a light blue and white dress holding it in front of her.
"Perfect, you'll look like an angel in this. Put it on." I said....no ordered.
She observed it.
"Not bad. I'll wear this of you say so." She chirped and pecked my lips.
She took of her bathrobe and as usual covered the scars on her abdomen with her arms and turned away from me as she reached for her bra.
I sighed. She always does that. It's too ugly she says and doesn't want me to see it too much. Her wounds had healed completely but the huge scars were permanent. Yes, they were ugly and they reminded me of that horrible day but....
I turned her to me and she looked at me innocently. I tried to remove her arm from there but she resisted.
"Naila...." I scolded and she shut her eyes loosening her arm.
"Kaif don't..... they're to ug...."
"No they are not! Open your eyes my angel." I carased her face.

She did and I sat down on my knees in front of her. I touched her scars, she tried to step back but I held her closer by her waist firmly. I kissed all over them.
"Y...you don't have to." She said embarrassed.
I looked up at her.
"They are not ugly Naila. They're the most beautiful accessory on your body. They are the sign of how much you live me.... they're battle scars you got while fighting for me, and I'm forever indebted to you my Queen. So don't ever try to hide them or be ashamed because....they make me realize what true love really is."
She smiled her beautiful smile and leaned down holding my face
"How did I end up getting such a handsome and loving husband? The Lord above must really be Love me."
"And this handsome loving husband is going to take you to Jannah someday." I said.
"My life is already Jannah with you in it my love." She kissed my forehead making my heart ache with the happiness she gives me.
I sat down on the seat assigned to me. My heart was racing with nervousness. Today I was going to be a Bcom graduate and get my degree. I was soo excited. My parents and Kaif were here to sitting behind in the audience section.
I was waiting for Avanti to come as hed seat beside me was empty. Farhan waved at me from 2 rows ahead. That sly fox. He always pretended like he never studied and ended up getting better grades then both of us. He's in the top 5. Still we're proud of him. His sister must be so proud to I thought as I looked up in the clear blue sky.
Avanti arrived 5 minutes before the ceremony began. I took her hand and carefully made her sit beside me from the crowd. She's 4 months pregnant. She found out during our final paper when she suddenly had to run to the washroom to throw up in the middle of the paper. She still was able to complete the paper though. She was soo happy after her visit to the doctor.
There were still 5 mins so we managed to take as many selfies as we could until the professors and the principal arrived.
###
All the students threw our hats up in the air cheering as finally we all were graduates now. Avanti hugged.
"Hey ladies...." Farhan came to us singing and opening his arms for a hug but instead received a punch from us in the chest.
"Ow!" He yelped and groaned rubbing his chest.
"You two are soo mean. Just could've said no!" He pouted.
"Aww...." We ruffled his hair feeling bad for the kid.
"Hey don't! Do you know how long it took me to set them?!" He scolded.
"You'll upset my lady fans."
Avanti raised an eyebrow at him
"Fans?"
He wasn't lying though. He was quite popular among the ladies because of his good looks and boyish charm. As we speak, a flock of girls rushed towards him excitedly for selfies. We both looked at him impressed.
We clicked pictures with our classmates collecting memories. After that both our handsome husbands walked towards us with a bouquet of flowers in their hands winning everyone's envy.
We hugged them as all the girls around sighed and huffed getting jealous.
That's right bitches..... he's mine!
My parents hugged me to congratulating me. It made me soo happy. Farhan came to us as I hugged my sisy Ayesha like bee to a flower.

"Assalamualaikum. Long time, no seen." He said to her. I glared at him but Kaif pulled me back by my shoulders giving me the...'let them be.' look. I crossed my arms to my chest observing the playboy.
"Walaikum assalam. Um... Farhan right?"
"Uff. My heart just skipped. I'm soo honoured that you remembered me pretty lady." He said overdramatically with a hand on his chest. I rolled my eyes. Kaif rubbed my arm to placate me.
"If your heart skips soo easily maybe you should hold on to it before it skips out." Ayesha snapped.
That's my baby girl!
He chuckled. " BTW, can I call you In Sha Allah because...... whenever I look at you that's what my heart screams."
I felt like gagging.
"No thanks, I already have a beautiful enough name." She replied.
"I heard your a medical student. So how long do I have to wait till I get to ask your father's number?" He winked.
"Maybe....." She pretended to think.
"Never! I'll be a doctor so I'll only marry a doctor." She said sternly.
"Oh come on, we business sector people aren't that bad. I'm smart, handsome, charming and will be soon enough working in the Alam group. I have the recommendation of the Director himself." He boasted.
I looked at Kaif surprised. He nodded.
"He's quite talented. We can use his talent in our company." He said putting his hand on my waist.
"See!" Farhan said.
"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes.
"Someday, I might be so rich and famous that I might even take over the company. Haha...."
We all glared at him and Kaif looked at him with a raised eyebrow slightly amused.
"Don't wish too high mate. It would hurt a lot if you fall."
"S...sorry!" Farhan said shyly.
Ayesha and I both bursted out laughing. He joined in too to save his ass. Farhan is a nice guy though. If my sister ever ends up with someone like him....or him in the Future! I wouldn't really mind. Still I'll do a 360° check on the guy.
###
Kaif was about to take me on a long drive but.....my busy... busy man had to get the urgent call. He asked me to wait near the building till he finished his call. I took a while to observe the building. Ah! It was just a year but I made soo many memories. Who knew my life would turn out this way? It feels like just yesterday I was trapped in a deep black hole never being able to escape. Them Mom came like a small light pulling me and bringing me to her shiny bright world. Then I met my destiny. I giggled to myself as I remembered how we used to fight like little kids. We opened our hearts to eachother, fought for eachother and here we are....
Suddenly the campus felt like it was spinning. What? My vision was blurring.... I touched my temple and tried to hold onto something as my degree fell from my hands falling on the floor. I lost control on my body and was about to collapse but a pair of strong arms grabbed my shoulders.
"Hey are you okay? Ma'am.....hey lady....!" I head a male voice getting distant, I saw a blur face before everything went black.
###
I flickered my eyes open to the different surrounding. There was a celling on top of my head instead of the evening sky. I was lying on something soft.....a couch. The room looked familiar, it was the teachers lounge.
"Are you ok Mrs Alam?"
I looked at my right to see a girl who seemed to beautiful to be real and a young Man, he seemed around Kaif's age. He was quite broad chested and muscular, not like those steroid taking buffed up men but, better and tall in a black t-shirt and leather jacket.
"What happened?" I murmured trying to sit up, the girl helped me as my head spinned. She gave me some water to drink.
"Feeling better?" I nodded.
"You suddenly fainted so Zayaan carried you here. Your husband will be here soon. We talked to him on your phone." She informed.
"Thank you." I said. He just nodded in response.
"Naila!" I heard Kaif's worried voice.
I saw him rushing towards me from the door. I smiled. He sat on his knees in front of me examining me.
"Are you ok... I was so worried." He carrased my face.
I smiled holding his hand.
"I'm fine. Guess I was just tired." He sighed relieved.
"Thank you Inarah... Zayaan. She's a bit fragile still." Kaif said shaking the man's hand.
"No problem." The girl chirped.
Kaif's phone rang. It was Mom.
"Yes Mom.... she's fine now. I found her..." He walked to a side not before carasing my face lovingly. I bet he's having a good scolding session with Mom. I winced at the thought but it was funny too.
"I'll be back." The other man, Zayaan his name was, said to the girl with a ghost of a smile and left. I may have been mistaken but I noticed in the split second that he turned to leave, something metalic inside his jacket, I almost gasped and my eyes went wide to realise, it was a gun!
The pretty girl sat beside me in the graduation suit. She handed me my degree.
"Oh thanks!" I said taking it.
"Wow, we were in the same college yet we never met. How strange! Maybe because we were in different departments." She said.
"Yeah, I was in marketing." I said.
"Ah, me in finance." She said.
"I'm Inarah Qureshi by the way."
She brought her hand forward. I shook it.
"I know, I've heard about you from my husband." I said. She nodded.
I couldn't tame my curiosity and anxiety as I ended up asking her
"Who....was that man just now?"
"Him?" She looked towards the door from which he walked out longingly.
"He's.....my dream." She said with a sad smile.
"Dream?" I asked confused.
"Someone my heart aches for but can never have, because he would never notice me like that." She sighed
The richest girl in Asia cannot have the man she desires? That's....sad.
"Why not?" I asked innocently.
She giggled.
"You didn't recognise him do you? Zayaan Hashmi...."
The name seemed to ring a bell. I gasped as realization hit me...
"The Zayaan Hashmi?! The Don...."
"Yeah...yeah.... I know, Mafia, gangster, Don.... bad boy....bla, bla, bla.... that's what they say. But I don't believe all that. I've known him longer than almost anyone. I know his gentle heart and I believe in it." She said.
It made me smile.
"Sometimes your belief in the person you love can be far more stronger than what the entire world believes. Your heart can feel the truth what other's minds cannot comprehend. So stick to your belief and don't give up hope. Maybe someday, your faith in him can win over the world ...and his heart."
She grinned widely and hugged me all of a sudden surprising me. I patted her back.
"Thank you for the advice sis. I won't forget it."
"I hope I can call you sis as I don't have an older one?"
I nodded smiling.
Zayaan came in again
"Oye Inarah, let's go now. Your parents are waiting."
"Why? Is there a surprise party?" She asked him excitedly.
He said nothing.
"Oooo. I can read your silence..." She said. He shook his head.
She giggled and hooked her arm with his. He got a bit flustered for a min.
"Oye!" He scolded.
"What? You're my date for today." She pouted.
"Find someone else." He pulled his arm back snapping at her.
"Huh why? Where would I find such an handsome guy like you?" She cooed.
"In hell." He said and started walking ahead.
"Zayaan yaar... please wait up!" She whined and before rushing after him she turned to me....
"Congratulations on graduating and good luck with the your future you two."
"Yes, you two." I gave her a thumbs up. She winked at me.
"Tell Mr and Mrs Malik I said Salam." Kaif told her getting back to me.
"Walaikum assalam....you too" she said running behind....her dream.
What an adorable pair!
But I was confused.
"Mr and Mrs Malik?" I asked Kaif.
"Oh, they're her parents. It's a long story for some other time. Let's go now." He said and bending down picked me up bridal style.
I squealed.
"I can walk really!"
He chuckled and just kept walking.
Oh my!
###
"You know, Inarah said Zayaan would never notice her but....it didn't seem like that to me. I noticed the sane longing in his eyes for her like she has for him...." I said thoughtfully.
"You've learnt to read people's eyes quite well." Kaif teased.
"What could I do? He was quite handsome and his eyes were very dreamy." I bit my lip at his jealous reaction.
"Mrs Naila Kaif Alam, do you want me to pick you in my arms and kiss you senselessly in front of Mom and Dad?" He warned me glaring intensely at me.
I gasped and shook my head a bit frightened. But then I kissed his cheek.
"My hubby is more handsome and dreamy though."
He blushed a little.
"Let's go, before you drive me even more crazy." He said starting the engine.
"A sweet corporate heir and a tough Mafia boss huh. Sounds like it would be quite an interesting story." I said as we stopped at the signal. He took my hand.
"Even more interesting than ours?" He asked.
I smiled.
"Let's see....."
###
He still took me to a doctor. After asking what happened she handed me a small cup.
"You know what to do right?" She smiled.
I nodded and went to the washroom. She needed my urine sample. I handed it to a nurse a bit embarrassed. It's awkward to just pee in a cup and hand it to someone.
I sat back with Kaif and after a minute the nurse came back with some kinda tube in her hand. I gasped...
Pregnancy tester.
Kaif and I shared a nervous glance. The doctor showed us the tester with the 2 red lines. My eyes teared up and my heart raced as I gripped on Kaif's hand tightly.
"Congratulations Mrs Alam, your pregnant."
"Oh.... Alhumdullilah....ya Allah...." I started crying with joy. Kaif held me by my shoulders. When I looked at him he too was smiling soo happily with moist eyes.
As we got home we gave the good news to Mom and Dad and they were soo thrilled that Mom even started planning how to decorate the our baby's room now itself.
She hugged us both kissing our foreheads. Kaif lifted me up and spun me till I was dizzy, I couldn't explain how happy he was.
To think that a life was growing inside me I was both scared and thrilled. But I knew I wasn't alone as our family was right there with us...to love and support us and give all the world's love to our blessing.
8 months later
I paced outside the hospital room desperately, worried and praying with a pounding heart. It's been almost an hour since Naila went in labour. She will have a normal delivery the doctor said, that was good news but my jaan was in so much pain. I couldn't bear to see it.
What was more nerve wrecking that I was about to be a father! I couldn't help but question myself....
Will I be able to do a good job?
Will I be able to a good father and a good example to my baby?
If it's a girl, will I be able to protect her, if it's a boy, will I be able to teach him to be a be a better person?
Was I even ready?!
Just then the baby's cry was heard from inside. Mom, Dad and Naila's parents were here too. We all waited at the door smiling.
The nurse came out with a fragile looking doll in her arms.
"Congratulations.... it's a girl." She said.
And all my doubts and worries disappeared as I carefully took my little angel in my arms. She was soo tiny and delicate that my heart ached. Tears blinded my vision. She was beautiful.....my little angel....my daughter!
"How's Naila?" I asked worried.
"She's fine. You can meet her now."
As I walked in, I saw her laying on the reclining bed weakly. She smiled her beautiful smile at me. I went to her with our baby.
She took her in her arms sobbing.
"Isn't our angel beautiful Kaif?" She asked smiling.
I wiped her tears.
"She's beyond beautiful." I said and kissed Naila's and our daughter's forehead gently.
A daughter is her parents' door to heaven....and the Lord has opened the door to happiness for us by blessing us with her.
