The Half-Blood Prince
Y/n fell with a heavy thud. The smell of damp dirt hit her before she could open her eyes. It was raining there just as heavy as it was at the Manor. Slowly, she sat up and could immediately feel her head pound.
And her heart.
She'd left Draco behind, but it was for the best. She knew she couldn't stay with him after what he did. If he thought years of lying to her wouldn't matter, he was very fucking wrong.
She rose to her feet with a little dizziness. The house infront of her was the only place she could think of to go to. Hesitantly she started walking towards the house, delaying her footsteps.
Y/n didn't even feel like crying. Everything that happened felt like one big misty haze and it hadn't properly hit her yet. As she approached the front door, she took a deep breath and lightly knocked twice.
She heard bustling from behind the door then suddenly it swung open.
"Hi- oh. Hello dear, what can I do for you?" The woman smiled, but was very confused as she'd never seen this girl before. Y/n cleared her throat.
"H-hi, Mrs Weasley. I'm a f-friend of most of your children. I didn't really know where to go." Y/n was shivering hard from the damp cold she could hardly get a sentence out.
Molly frowned.
"Are you looking for anybody in particular?" She asked sternly, suspicious of who she was.
"No...sorry I shouldn't of come here. I just have nowhere else to go." Y/n could feel her eyes sting and her throat close up. She didn't even know herself why she'd turned up at The Burrow.
Molly froze and looked puzzled, but the girl was shaking and looked extremely troubled. "Come in, darling. There's room for everybody in this house."
Y/n wiped some fallen tears from her cheek and looked up. Molly stood aside to let her in.
"Sit down dear, have this." Molly offered her a colourful knitted blanket which she took and thanked her for. Y/n awkwardly pushed out a wooden chair from the table and perched on the edge. She was visibly shaking and Molly picked up on it.

"Has something happened?" She asked in a hushed tone. Y/n nodded, knowing if she spoke she'd burst into tears.
"It's okay dear, you can tell me." Molly pushed a box of tissues towards her.
"Tell me when you're ready, I'm listening." Y/n took a deep breath to gather herself, and started speaking.
"It all started when...
He couldn't speak. He couldn't move. He couldn't breathe.
She's gone, and it's all my fucking fault.
Draco was stood on the steps as he watched y/n apparate from the Manor. He was left sobbing uncontrollably the second she left in the pouring rain. He dropped to his knees and hid his face in his hands.
He slouched against the soaking wet wall and reminisced on all their memories together, because that's she was to him now, a memory.
~FLASHBACK~
"I love you, Y/n Bloodstone."
"You, Mr Malfoy are always the reason I'm in trouble" She panted as they ran out of detention.
"So what is this Draco? What are we? Because for nearly two years I've been wondering what this even is!" She asked, as they sat at the Astronomy Tower.
"Draco stop!" She squealed as he carried her bridal style into the Great Hall.
"You did this all for me?" She asked as Draco put the blanket down on the grass.
"Draco you're such a prick!" She squirmed as she spat the jellybean back out on the carpet.
"I love you too, Draco Lucius Malfoy."
~END OF FLASHBACK~
He closed his eyes at the thought of those memories. It physically hurt him to think about what he did.
"Draco!"
Draco whipped his head around to see Snape stood at the doors.
"The Dark Lord will see you now."
So I apparated here." Y/n told Molly everything that happened in detail. About her family, her real Mother and Draco. Mrs Weasley had tears in her eyes when she'd finished speaking.
"Oh sweetheart." She placed her hand on top of y/n's in a reassuring way. "So you're...you're a Potter?"

"Yeah. Lily is my real mum, and Scabior is my dad."
"Does Draco think differently of you? Because you're not actually a Pureblood, you're a Halfblood?" Molly asked calmly.
"No. He was the one begging me to stay weirdly enough, despite his views on Halfbloods and Muggleborns."
"Then what does that tell you, y/n?" Molly leaned in close, her face not far from hers. She gave y/n's hand a squeeze.
"Do not let go of him! You are the only person in this world he loves dearly, he holds you close to his heart. You see? That's rare, especially for somebody like Malfoy."
Y/n frowned as she was confused at what Molly had said. On the other hand, Mrs Weasley was beaming, she had a very promising smile on her face.
"He loves you y/n, this is a whole lot more than what you think."
The ringing in his ears masked the noise of his shoes hitting the floor as he walked into the Manor. Every time Voldemort would be at the Manor, Draco would lock himself in his room for days until he'd eventually leave. When he'd hear Voldemort's voice from downstairs he'd be sick.
If he had a boggart stood in-front of him, take a guess on who it would be.
"Ah, so nice for you to join me, Draco" Voldemort cackled as Draco walked into the room. He didn't retaliate to Voldemort's snarky comment.
"I'm guessing you've spoke to the girl?"
"Yes" He mumbled.
"Fantastic. So you should know what's going on?"
"Not really, no."
Voldemort erupted into spiteful laughter as Draco sat staring at the wooden table.
"Well, your little girlfriend, is infact, a Potter."
Draco turned his head sharply to Voldemort. "What? A Potter?"
"Yes boy, a Potter. Her real Mother is Lily. Y/n was born for breeding purposes. We had a little plan you see. We'd delay her from going to that school until third year so she'd meet you when you were looking a little less...boyish. We'd given you both time to meet, then Lucius invited the Bloodstones to the Manor one night...do you remember that night, Draco?"
He tried not to. It was the night he opened up to her, and they nearly kissed for the first time. The night he realised he had serious feelings for y/n.
"Lucius was ordered to put a potion in your drink so you'd fall in love with her. It turned out you didn't even need the potion, you were so...in love with her. So this should be an easy task, before she's killed of course."
"What task?" Draco asked.
"You are to impregnate the girl by the end of the year, or both of you will die."
Draco couldn't breathe. It all came together. Y/n thought Draco knew about the plan all along. She thought he was forced to do this, forced to fall in love with her.
That was no accident. Draco Lucius Malfoy fell in love with Y/n Bloodstone, despite her blood purity. Despite her family. Despite anything.
"No."
"Excuse me?" Voldemort laughed.
"I SAID FUCKING NO! SEPTUMSEMPRA!" Draco roared, hurling Voldemort across the room.
"STUPEFY! EXPELLIARMUS! STUPEFY!" He hurled spells at the other deatheatears in the room, and sprinted as fast as his body could take him out the Manor.
Draco ran down the Manor garden in the pouring rain. His feet were slipping as he ran for his life. Occasionally he'd turn his head to see if anybody was coming after him. Blood was rising up his throat and into his mouth as he raced across the grass quicker than his body could let him. His blonde hair was soaking against his heated face.
He'd reached the very far end of the garden and without taking a moment to breathe, he apparated.
