The Half-Blood Prince

Fear sat in her throat and made her heart rattle in her ribcage. Her hands were sore from the bitter cold wind.

Y/n stood infront of the Malfoy Manor gates. It took her a minute to catch her breath in her throat from the harsh floo powder. The rusty black gates towered over her as she looked onto the stoney path that led to the grand Manor.

What the fuck do I even say?

Y/n just found out her boyfriend and her own father were working for Voldemort. The evil wizard who killed her beloved grandfather. The evil wizard who killed Cedric.

The evil wizard who killed.

Draco had lied through his teeth multiple times to her and she let it slide. Harry showed her in Knockturn Alley, yet she still decided to leave it be.

Enough was enough. If she was going to do this, she needed to do it now.

The gates creaked as she pushed them open, slowly revealing the pathway. At a snail pace, she placed one shaky foot infront of the other, not taking her eyes off the Manor. She had no idea what she was going to say. Everything was on big blur at this point. She felt nothing.

Finally reaching the Doors, she raised her left hand and gave two shaky knocks. And waited. Her breathing rapidly increased as she heard footsteps on the other side. The left door swung open.

"Y/n dear?" Said Narcissa. She looked drained; her pale skin, her black eyes, her hair pushed back tightly.

"You know why I'm here Narcissa" Y/n replied.

Her eyes went wide.

"Who told you?"

"My Mother."

"Your Mother? That's impossible" Narcissa looked sick. Y/n was confused to why she said it was 'impossible' her own Mother told her.

"Yes, my Mother. I need to talk to Draco, and I'm guessing my Father is here too?"

"Yes, he is. Come in Y/n" She sighed. Y/n pushed past Narcissa and stood in the entrance.

The Manor had an eerie feel to it, more than usual. It was dark and cold. The chandeliers were glistening from the reflection of the lights above.

"Draco will be upstairs dear. Head on up" Narcissa whispered, and without looking back she headed into the dining hall and closed the door behind her.

Y/n marched up the grand staircase, her sweaty palms gripping onto the golden rails. She stormed down the hallway and reached Draco's room. Without stopping, she barged into his room.

"Fucking hell!" He shouted, panting. He was sat on the window ledge looking out onto the grounds. She definitely startled him. When Draco realised who it was, he stopped panting and a guilty look swiped across his face.

"Where the fuck did you go, Draco?" She demanded.

"I came back here because I needed to come back. At Hogwarts we kept getting into arguments so I had to leave to keep you safe."

"Keep me safe? From what, your deatheater friends?" She spat boldly. Dracos face dropped as he heard her last words. He swung his legs around to stand.

"Deatheater? What are you-

"Don't you dare, lie to me anymore Draco Malfoy. I know! I know exactly what you've been hiding from me! Deatheater are we? What's it like in your little deatheater club? Do you drink Voldy drinks and giggle about death?" Her cheeks were scalding as she continued to shout.

"You have no idea Y/n! No fucking idea what I've had to do!"

"You told me NOTHING! I DID EVERYTHING FOR YOU! AND YOU TOLD ME FUCKING, NOTHING!"

"I COULDNT TELL YOU ANYTHING!" Draco screamed back.

She stopped screaming, took in a deep breath and met his grey eyes.

"Tell me then."

"What?"

"TELL ME THEN!"

Draco collapsed onto the bed behind him, swinging his head down so his fringe covered his face.

"They told me if I didn't become one, they'd kill us both."

Y/n stood for a second without saying a word.

She cared for him more than he'd ever know, and he was doing this to protect them.

"What about my Father Draco. What about him"

"He's one too. But I don't know why-

"Liar."

He looked up at her with bloodshot eyes and no expression.

"I'm not a fucking liar Bloodstone. Don't you fucking dare do this to me" Draco spat through gritted teeth.

"I need answers, Draco."

"And I don't have them" He sighed, collapsing his head into his hands. "Go downstairs and find out for yourself."

So she did.

After treating down the staircase carefully (it was difficult to see from her blurry eyes being filled with tears trying to escape), y/n heard muffled voices behind the dining hall door.

Lucius's voice.

Snapes.

Bellatrix's.

Voldemort's.

Scabiors.

Y/n erupted through the door, slamming it in the process. Every single head turned to see a troubled girl stood, looking at her Father.

Scabior's mouth dropped open and he rose from his seat. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He knew she knew, there was no amount of money that could repay the pain she felt at that very moment.

"Princess wh-

"Dad?" She whispered. Tears were escaping and falling down her cheek. She didn't care they were all staring.

Scabior didn't say anything for a few seconds. Simply just stood there, eyes wide as saucers.

"Y/n, I never, ever meant for you to know."

"What about Grandfather? What about everything you've told me to go against? What the fuck did you mean?" She exclaimed.

"Ah, Y/n Bloodstone. I have been itching to meet you" A cold unfriendly voice bellowed from the opposite end of the table. "Take a seat" Said Voldemort.

She went against her instinct to scream and shout at the vile 'man', instead just following his orders and awkwardly walked to the table. Scabior stood in shock behind her.

Awkwardly, she perched at the edge of the leather seat and waited. Just waited to hear something that would atleast make sense.

"The Order is something you are apart of, am I correct, Miss Bloodstone?" Voldemort asked in a calm tone.

"Yes" She muttered.

"Now, your little 'boyfriend', Draco Malfoy, has been ordered to fix the Vanishing Cabinet in the room of requirement. Do you know why this is, Miss Bloodstone?"

"No."

"I see. Draco has been ordered to fix this said cabinet to let my crew of Deatheaters into Hogwarts."

She felt physically sick at every word that would coming out of his slimy mouth.

"He is a deatheater. Your beloved father, is too."

Yep, still feeling pretty sick.

"He has been working with me since before you were born, with my good friend over here, Lucius." It was starting to make sense. When the Bloodstone were invited to the Manor in her first year, they spoke on how much work they did together.

"Your Father must of told you he is a deatheater, no?" Voldemort asked.

"No, my mother did" She choked.

"Your Mother?"

"My Lord, please don't. Not now. I beg you" Scabior pleaded Voldemort to not say anything else.

"I see, you haven't told her" He spoke smugly. Y/n felt panic in her lungs every time she inhaled. She flipped her head around to meet eyes with her Father.

"So the girl doesn't know. How...interesting."

"My Lord, don't tell her. Not now"

"Tell me what?" Y/n's eyes darted between the two men.

This sick and anger feeling was making her palms sweat and her left leg bounce up and down. She felt suffocated by lies.

This. This is when her whole world came crashing down with a heavy, hard thud.

"Your Mother is dead. And she has been for quite a while now."
