So in the last chapter I touched upon these tings called milestones which are basically like achievements. The more reads you gain, the quicker it is to gain EVEN MORE readers. In this chapter I'll go through the different milestones and what you should expect at each one.

10 reads- your book is probably new to this site and the people reading are those that look at the 'What's New' part of categories. Or your a writer who already has fans who read all your work.

100 reads- your book is still unnoticed, however you have a few loyal readers. Just wait my friend, just wait.

500 reads- wow you got here fast! See I told you- wait! You're halfway to 1k, but that number seems a long way away doesn't it? Now you have a solid set of readers, all of whom you kind of know.

1,000 reads- you did it! You're here! But when you hit 1k, you'll realise that rather that competing against books with reads in the range of 0-1000 reads you're now competing with people with reads up to the 20,000. Your running with the bigger dogs, and so far your trailing at the back.

5,000 reads- wait, weren't you on 4k like a week ago? Oh that's right, its easier to gain reads when you have higher read counts because your book is probably gaining much more coverage as it has more readers.

10,000 - you're getting pretty big now aren't you? Just don't forget where you came from, and remember that your still only running in the middle of this big race known as Wattpad.

500,000 reads- you're halfway to a million, this is getting insane! You have fans, and comments flood in everyday.

1,000,000- you made it, your running close to the front. Hey look, there's some of the big writers on this site. You've struck gold my friend, you're extremely lucky.

None of my books have ever got to the millions, so I'm just kinda guessing there. But this is just kinda what to expect and the key thing is to just wait and see!
