Day One Hundred and Sixty-Three.

Verses: "When my heart is overwhelmed lead my to the rock that is higher than I am." Psalm 61:32

Right now, maybe right now you are struggling. I started back college this week and I know starting back school is very stressful. Maybe you are battling depression, anxiety, stress, and/or feeling overwhelmed. I know that the best thing to do when you are feeling overwhelmed is to go to Jesus (Psalm 61:32).

So how to you go to Jesus? You go to Him by seeking Him through prayer, worship, reading The Bible, and being still in His presence. As you seek Him, He will bless you with whatever you need (Isaiah 49:13).Jesus will comfort you, love you, guide you, encourage you, bless you, and so much more (Isaiah 49:13). If you keep seeking, He will also bless you with His peace, joy, hope, rest, and encouragement (Psalm 125:1-2). But remember you can't just pray once and seek God once and be done. You have to seek Him daily. Because if you want a close relationship with anyone you have to spend time with them (Psalm 125:1-2). It's the same way with God, if you want a close relationship with you have to seek Him daily (Psalm 125:1-2).

As you seek Him daily, He will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2) . I know sometimes when you seek God, it's easy to feel that He is not listening. But God always listening to your prayers (Psalm 118:6). He will always be there for you (Psalm 121:1-2). All you have to do is seek Him daily and He will wrap His arms around you (Hebrews 13:5). God is a good father (Psalm 31:19) and He loves you (John 3:16). He wants to be your best friend (Psalm 121:1-2). That's all He wants, is you (Psalm 121:1-2).

When you go to God, you can be totally real with Him. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, or stress, He wants to be there for you and to help you (Psalm 121:1-2). But you have to do your part by seeking Him daily through reading His word, worshiping Him, being still in His presence, and by praying to Him. God won't do your part for you and He won't go and help you if you don't seek Him. Because a relationship with God has two sides: one side being you seeking Him, and the other side is Him coming to you once you seek you.

I promise you, that if you seek God daily, your life with will be changed forever (Psalm 118:6). Because a close relationship with God is the best relationship you can have. I know for me personally, becoming close to God changed my life. As you all know I struggle with many mental illnesses and chronic illnesses. Without God, I would not be alive today. God saved me as I was seeking Him daily. He truly saved me and without Him I don't know where I would be. So I thank God everyday for saving for me because I don't know what I would do without Him. Now everyday I try to seek (I don't always seek Him daily because I am not perfect) but every time I seek Him, He is with me (Psalm 118:6).

He is with you as well (Psalm 118:6)! So seek God today!

Prayer:

Dear God,

I pray that as I seek you through reading your word, worshiping you, praying to you, and by listening to you to that you draw near to me. Because I love you and I want to be close to you. So I pray that as I seek you that you help me with everything I am going through. I ask that you bless me with whatever I need to make it through every day. I ask that you wrap your arms me and help me. I know that as I seek you hear me and will help me. I thank you for your help because I know that you hear me. I know that you will be with me and I thank you for that. I praise you for your goodness, love, grace, hope, joy, and so much more. I praise you because you are so good to me. You are a good Father and I love you.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
