'But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. '

How to have strong faith.

Maybe right now, you are really struggling. Maybe you are dealing with a mental illness, chronic illness, cancer, stress at school and/or work, or you lost a loved one. Maybe your faith isn't strong and you haven't been close with God in a while. No matter what you are going through, you can always run to God and have strong faith in God.

So how do you have strong faith in God? Here are my tips and tricks.

1. Seek God everyday!

How do you seek God? You seek God by: reading your Bible, praying to God, listening to Him, and worshiping Him. You seek God, everyday! Which is really hard, I can totally relate. I have just started back college but no matter how busy you are, you always need to find time to spend time with God. Because time spent with God is never wasted. When you seek God everyday, He will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2). God draws near you, you will be able to build a close relationship with God. A close relationship with God is the best relationship you will ever have.

2. All it takes to have strong faith is to have faith the size of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20).

A mustard seed is smaller than a piece of rice. So it's really small. Jesus says in Matthew 17:20: "He answered, "Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and [if it is God's will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." All you have to do to have strong faith is to have a mustard seed size of faith. You just have to believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and rose three days later (John 3:16). You just have to believe that neither life nor death nor angel nor demons nor anything in this world can separate you from God's love (Romans 8:38-39).

3. Remember God's promises:

God will love you forever. (Psalm 136:1) God will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5) God will comfort you. (Isaiah 49:13) God will help you and always be there for you. (Psalm 121:1-2) God is always faithful. (Psalm 33:4) God keeps His promises. (Deuteronomy 7:9) You can do all things through Christ. (Phillpians 4:13) With God on your side, you can do anything! (Matthew 19:26) God has an amazing plan for your life. (Jeremiah 29:11) God is for you and on your side. (Psalm 118:6) God is all around you. (Psalm 125:1,2) God never changes. (Hebrews 13:8)

Prayer:

Dear God,

I pray that as I spend time seeking you that I have strong faith in you. Because I know Lord, that all it takes to have strong faith in you is to have faith the size of a mustard seed. So I am giving you my mustard seed sized faith because I believe in you Lord. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and rose three days later. I believe that nothing in this world can separate me from your love for me. So I pray that you grab my hand and help me walk through life with you on my side. I pray that I build a close and strong relationship with you. I pray that you bless me with everything I need to make it through each and everyday. I pray that you always be right beside me and never leave me. I thank you for your goodness, love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. I praise you because you are so good to me.
