Day One Hundred and Forty-Seven
Verse: "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
Being still in God's presence is so important. Spending alone with God is something we need to do everyday. It doesn't have to be hours long, just enough time for you to read your Bible, pray, and listen for God.
I know lately I have been focusing on spending alone time with God and it has helped me so much. I always feel so much better because time spent with God is not time wasted. Spending time with God helps you build your relationship with God. Because as you seek Him through reading His word, listening for Him, praying to Him, and worshiping Him. As you spend time with God, He will draw near to you (Psalm 125:1-2).
But maybe you want to read your Bible but you have no idea where to start. I would say to start reading a couple chapters in Psalm and then start reading in Matthew. Right now I am reading Psalm and I am reading in Romans. I am trying to read all the New Testament.
You also may be thinking: "Caty I am so busy, how can I spend time with God when I am so busy." My advice is to set a reminder on your phone for you to time with God. You can always wake up earlier and spend time with God. Or spend time with God before you go to bed. Now matter your schedule God loves you (John 3:16) and He just wants to spend time with you.
As you spend time with God, God will fill you with His peace, rest, strength, hope, joy, and whatever you need (Isaiah 49:13). You may be going through a storm right and the best thing you could do is to run into God's arms by spending time with Him.

So start spending time with God today, I promise you won't regret it!

Dear God,
I pray that as I spend time with you by reading your word, praying to you, worshiping you, and listening to you, that I build a close relationship with you. Because in your word it says that as I spend time with you, you will draw near to me. So I pray that you draw near to me. I need you Lord and I can't do life without. I ask that you bless me with whatever I need to fight the battle I am fighting. Because with you on my side Lord, I know I can do all things. I praise you for your goodness, love, mercy, and grace. I thank you for listening to me. I believe that you hear me and will help me.
I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
In Jesus's name, I pray, Amen!

Special constitution, lucky breaks, fast powerup, get all the chicks and defeat the big evil guy. Simple, easy, satisfying. But life ain't cut out to be that way. The main actors were already set, and there was no changing them. Unless, you moved to a different stage... But this ain't one of your friendly neighborhood transmigrations. It rewards those that are patient, creative and willing to adapt. Its a culmination of the things that made me laugh, cry and smile when I first read them and It has been a personal wish to craft a story that makes me feel the way I did when reading those stories for the first time.
